This place has become one of my favorite Korean spots. I used to live in Ktown but recently moved to Downey and so I had to find a whole new set of places to go. This restaurant is at least as good as some of the popular Buena Park spots on Beach Blvd. The neighborhood isn't the best, but I don't mind. I'm only here for the food and then I'm on my way back.
First time coming here. Was looking for a great gopchang stew. Hard to find one around anywhere that does it right without smelling bad. I came here as I was told this was the place to go to. I'm glad a went. This place was really good. The gopchang stew didn't smell at all. The broth was nice and packed really good flavors. Korean restaurants are ridiculously expensive, and they use so much seasoning that I feel sick for about 3 days after eating...One day, I followed an acquaintance to this place, and out of suspicion, I tried it out of curiosity... and all of the food was so delicious and full of sincerity. Now, I only recommend this Pine Restaurant to everyone around me.It's clean, friendly, and there's nothing wrong with it after eating.???
