Starbucks in Redondo Beach

“There was a karen named MaryAnn who may have been threatened or offended with my appearance.... I was waiting for our residential water system and plumbing materials to be delivered. So I popped in grab a quick coffee and I can feel the iced eyes all staring at me.... the lady asked one of the employees do you know that man and I can hear him say no I've never seen him here before. She was somewhat afraid that I might run out with some coffee or something like that and not pay for it I guess.. after my coffee was delivered to me I went to the beach and sat down and just watched some of the local Surfers. About 20 minutes into my coffee and wave watching I look up to see Miss Mary Ann nonchalantly trying to video me, as if she could have a karen movie with me. So I repaid the movie making by getting my phone out, videoing her video me... pretty awkward..lol“

“I will always give Starbucks the same rating, it's a well managed business with " mostly " good employees ( I will go out of my way to mention the ones that shouldn't be an employee, but )The coffee is consistently slightly above average, my wife likes it, it's ok for me, they need a light roast.This Starbucks was good.“

“Very nice, easy in and out location with a nice, very friendly efficient staff.And I am so happy, they no longer charge extra for almond milk!!! We used to call that the vegan tax because regular milk or cream was free. “Wow. I was having the worst day and needed a little pick me up so I headed to the nearest Starbucks. Went through the drive-thru because I was in a rush when I was greeted with the warmest welcoming voice. Of course I ordered my usual iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with a warmed up croissant on the side hoping that would cheer me up. When I pulled up to the drive-thru window Robert greeted me with the kindest smile and asked me how my day was going. I shared briefly that it wasn’t the best and he gave me some gentle encouragement that it will get better. When I looked at my cup he had written a sweet note that immediately put a smile on my face. When I decided to go to Starbucks I was expecting to just get my coffee and go, but what I got was way more than that. These employees truly care about their job and the small interactions that they have on their customers. I highly recommend this establishment and will make sure to tip every time because that’s the least I can do for such exceptional service. Thank you Robert.“

“Always the atmosphere that's best described as home-like to me bc I've been returning to my Starbucks for way over a decade and a half.. Greatest barista's ever. Friendly and knowledgeable about what I love, coffee and expresso to lattes, of course. They understand how to combine that knowledge w a precise flair for people and how to treat each other. It's our community and we should take to heart taking care of each other. Now every ship needs a captain, and my starbucks has the most amazing manager, Jonathan. With a tireless energy, I watch as he keeps the store organized, we'll stocked to his customers which are well taken care of. Amazing management for certain. Amazing Jonathan. So there is my review of Torrance and hawthorne boulevard, Torrance California.“
