I ordered Doordash delivery (two drinks and a small cake). The cake was not delivered. I planned on canceling the order, but the owner of Smoking Tiger called me, apologized profusely, and delivered the cake to me herself! She was so kind and generous and I didn't expect that at all.
The jeju matcha and misugaru were delicious. I don't know of any other teahouses in the Gardena area that serve misugaru, so that's a great treat.

This is a Korean style cafe that I absolutely loved while visiting California. I’m excited that they're opening a location in the North Dallas area. I can't wait!
The staff are super helpful and make a real effort to provide an exceptional customer experience. Coffee is great too

Based on the reviews, Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab is a modern Korean-American coffee shop and bakery. The pastries are absolutely delicious and worth a visit, with favorites including the musubi croissant, cream cheese bread, and a kimchi croissant that is very flakey and well balanced in flavor. The drinks are also really good, such as the large corn latte, which is the least sweet corn latte in LA, and the hotteok coffee. It is a good place to study early in the morning, with a good amount of sitting indoors and outdoors. However, the café can be a bit dark and cold inside, and the customer service is just okay with passiveness from most baristas. The parking situation is challenging, with a small lot and tight spaces, and police vehicles often double-park.
