“I live in this area. my first trip here was great and I received great customer service and the coffee was good. the second trip I encountered someone who didn't really greet me when I came to the counter even though I was the only one and she wasn't really busy and the coffee she made was not that great because it was almost all oat milk on top and the syrup on the bottom. they definitely have very good pastries but the coffee is more questionable.“

“I walked into this small place thinking of just getting a quick snack and was absolutely gobsmacked at how soft and fluffy their sugar glazed donut was. I went back every day during my trip to LA and the quality was top notch every single time. I was even more overjoyed when I found out they're open 24 hours. “Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and thought they were pretty good. It’s true that this is not my favorite bagel spot in LA but I live very close by to it so it’s conveniently located for me and it really hit the spot this past Sunday morning. They don’t really have indoor seating, and it’s not very large on the inside because it is more of a to go type of spot however it’s not quite as quick as some of the other bagel spots. They seemed to have less staff than some of the others, so that could be the cause. The menu is quite large and they have a lot of great bagel flavor options. It’s located in a shopping mall so there’s plenty of free parking attached and close by. The lady behind the counter was polite and there were a lot of other customers in there as well so it seems like it’s a popular place.

My first visit I chose an Everything Bagel with cream cheese, avocado, and chorizo and enjoyed it. I wish the chorizo would’ve been spicier and had a little bit more flavor, but the other components were really good. The Everything Bagel was a little bit heavy on the sesame, but still I enjoyed it. We also tried one of the Garlic Bagels, and thought it was actually very nice. It was not overly garlicky but well balanced. I would give this place another try in the future and would recommend to anyone in the area.“

“I needed a little European fix today, so I decided to visit Des Croissants Paris. First of all I just finished devouring 4 pastries that were in incredibly delicious!!! Top ingredients straight from France! But what made my visit an outstanding experience, was how lovely and gracious the staff was including the owner. “House of Bread is great. They have fresh, made daily bread of all types as well as pastry items. It is all good. They even have vegan items.

The service at House of Bread is just wonderful. The small staff gets the job done and the know what they have and what is the best. They make the most tasty banana bread. You can get it vegan or not. Both are great. I prefer the regular banana bread because I like butter on mine.

The place is super cute, very clean and you will smell bread when you walk in. they have some of the best pastries. They are all great. Their Persian bread is the best.

The place is small so be on the lookout or you will miss it.

“Angel Maid Bakery has gone down hill a little bit. Their hours are not what they say and their lot for parking is very small.

That said, their service is still great and they are very nice.

They are limited in what they will do. If you bring in a photo of a cake you want, chances are they won't be able to do it. They do not do images at all. They have a book and you can pick a cake.

Their selection in store is very good, but I am so sick of most of them having a whipped cream frosting that you have to keep cold. I don't like cold cake. Their selection of butter cream is lacking.

They do have a nice selection of cupcakes with butter cream frosting which is great.

When you have them write on a cake you pre ordered you can tell they took very little time to do it, it is sloppy and there is nothing but what you told them to write. Most bakeries add a little flower or something to present the name.

I just had a lemon curd type cake from them and I noticed the sloppy writing and the cake was so sweet I could not eat it, and of course, it was cold.

I won't be back. That is sad. I will find another bakery that cares. But I still give them a 4 because I know a lot of people like sweet cakes with whipped cream frosting and their service is very good.“
