“Finally got to try this boulangerie, and it didn’t disappoint!! Be prepared for a line, if you’re lucky not a long one. They use whole grain flour and amazing butter quality, the flakiness is insane even on the cinnamon roll which Im usually not a fan of and I think that I might go back just for that!! Also got the pain au chocolat granola which I can’t wait to try… it’s genius!!“

I recently bought several dozen wrapped cookies for a birthday party, and adults and kids alike loved them. They had so much fun trying all the creative flavors, and of course, kept telling me how tasty every flavor was. I highly recommend!“

“We had a nice, cozy dinner here and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We ordered our pasta without cheese, but it was accidentally served with cheese. The staff handled the mistake very professionally and apologized immediately. They quickly brought us the correct order, and the service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. “Visited multiple times during our stay in Santa Monica. The donuts are delicious. It’s no frills, definitely not one of these new fancy donut shops. But the donuts are simple, tasty and reasonably priced ($10 for a half dozen). The folks working behind the counter were very friendly and helpful.“

“I have been pre-diabetic since my 30's (genetic) but I'm a sucker for baked goods. I try to eat bakery items with high fiber, low carbs and sugar but generally it's too damn hard to find healthy options so I tend to focus on items with nuts. Coconut is a god-send so I kind of know all the places to get good coconut-based baked items.

After trying Julian's coconut cookies today, I have to say I have never had one better. The chewy texture, the clear taste of coconut, and the sophisticated use of coconut sugar all came through as a perfect creation. Better than my go to coconut cookie at Fat+ Flour in Culver City. Julian is a baking GENIUS! His creations may seem simple but he is not satisfied until they are as perfect as they can be so you know you are lucky to be one of the few people who get to try his creations.“

“I hadn’t been to Bubble Boba in years, and coming back reminded me how much I like this place.

Service is quick, everything tastes fresh, and they always get it right. This time I had the Hojicha Milk Tea—a roasted Japanese green tea with a rich, nutty flavor—and it was so good. Light, smooth, and just the right amount of caffeine and boba. for those wondering Boba are made of tapioca versus mochi which are made of rice.

The K-pop music gives it a fun vibe, and the staff is always kind. It’s also in a prety walkable area, so it’s easy to grab a drink and stroll but it's mostly been a great destination for the times I had to take my children to soccer or if you have to go to Santa Monica college or a quick stop in after visiting one of the cute art studios here. “Wow the mango sticky matcha is out of this world. The perfectly balanced syrup pairs so well with their matcha and whole milk. It’s definitely on the sweeter side and not very matcha forward, but it’s sooo good!!! An incredibly well balanced sweet treat drink and very nice baristas!“
