“I've been here a few times now between 5:30-6:30am, and the donuts are always freshly made that morning. The dough is light with that fresh-baked chewiness, not dry or greasy. I could say they're an above-average donut shop, nothing special. But, if you're in the area on any given day, you will probably skip all the other donuts shops around in order to get your donuts here. They definitely do not disappoint. Plus, the staff are always super friendly and welcoming.
Dietary restrictions: It's a donut shop. Go somewhere else if you're on a diet.
Kid-friendliness: It's a donut shop, all kids are welcome.
Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot has a pretty big slope to it in. Not sure if it would be ideal for someone in a wheelchair.“

“The best bagel I’ve ever ever ever had. So flavorful and the texture is just amazing. If you like sourdough you have to try this bagel asap. The team is very nice and helpful. The scallion cream cheese is a dream.
Bought some bread to go.
Lots of free street parking“

“The coffee, the environment, the baristas, the location. Offset is my favorite coffee shop. I have noticed they pick up on regulars' names and orders. The baristas are ALL good at what they do so I can always expect a Vanilla Latte to perfection. Their pastries are so delicious, super dog friendly. Their overall aesthetic is clean and modern. Parking is super easy at the El Segundo location. I highly recommend Offset to anyone near LAX or in the El Segundo area. I wish they'd migrate towards me in West Hollywood, lucky for me I work right next to it.“

“Ok, another place that I'm torn on how to rate. Got their "bagels", one plain with cream cheese and one with lox. If you're looking for delicious "circle bread" (ie a good crunchy sourdough bread roll in the shape of a bagel, especially one that is topped lots of cream cheese and pretty toppings), their "bagel" is excellent. However, if you want a true bagel, this isn't it.
But, I'm still giving it 5 stars because the bread really is excellent, the line is short (especially compared to next door), there was outdoor seating available at 10:30 on a Sun morning, and their other bread products were delicious as well.
Do yourself a favor. Don't bother standing in the long line next door. Come here because the circle bread is definitely a notch better, and just don't tell your NY friends that they're "bagels". ?“

“?So delicious! First visit. Referred by a friend who saw a TikTok. Tried the Crème Brûlée this morning. Cracked the thin sugar shell to reveal the soft crème filling encased in fluffy mildly sweet cake -- almost like angel food or funnel cake apparently made with rice flour. If I skip lunch...another donut?“

“Lei'd Cookies is by far my favorite cookie shop in LA! I've been driving by Lei'd for a while and finally got the chance to try it. I ordered the Strawberry and Passionfruit cookie, Ube and Matcha cookie, and Brown Butter Salt Chocolate Chip cookie. I'm not a huge fan of overly sweet desserts, but these were perfectly satisfying and not too sweet.
The Strawberry and Passionfruit cookie was so addicting; I typically am not a fan of fruit or tart flavored cookies but these were so good! I could really taste the quality and freshness in the ingredients for all of the cookies. They're chewy and soft while having a crispness to the outer layer. Will definitely come back and try the other cookies!“

“Went here with a friend and was blown away (sounds cliche!) by the level of service I got from a place I wasn't destined to spend more than $10 at. The honestly polite cashier (manager, perhaps?) and her knowledge of all of the various cookies, their ingredients, and other particulars, made my day. Reminded me of how service used to be years ago. The cookies were very good, too, as were the samples I was given. I'd love to come back here when I'm in the area.
Dietary restrictions: Very good assortment of gluten-free cookies, along with conventional ones.“

“I am in LOVE with this bakery. I ordered a princess cake for my partner's birthday and was SO pleasantly surprised after other cake buying experiences in LA that I would classify as "mediocre". I had the princess cake, and its delicious, fluffy, fresh, essence lifted up me and my partner's souls. It had the perfect balance of tarty, slightly chewy marzipan shell with many layers of velvety butter cream filling between spongy, most cakes. Ordering and pickup were fairly seamless (although the phone number doesn't appear to be working at the moment) and the prices and overall value are some of the best that I've experienced in LA bakery. Friendly courteous staff.“

“Excellent coffee drinks, food and desserts. The atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. Clean and inviting with indoor and outdoor seating. My Aunt is not a coffee connoisseur and she ordered a coffee drink that was not really what she should of ordered. The lady working here asked her how she likes her coffee and remade one for free that was exactly what my Aunt really wanted. Customer service that goes above and beyond. A++ in every facet!“

“Surprisingly they have some of the best cookies I've ever had (please bring back the strawberry cookies!) but they don't have it very often and the other pastries are pretty hit or miss. Unfortunately, all of the croissants I've (or others in my group have had) have been sub-par so I've stopped ordering any croissants from them“

I liked it because it felt like a sophisticated Korean bakery that I saw on Instagram.“

“The best chocolate banana cake I’ve ever had. The bananas were fresh and the whipped cream or buttercream topping on top was so delicious and light, it was not overly sweet like other frostings. I gave them a general idea for the design and they knocked it out of the park. Loved it!“

“Everything sold is delicious. They use quality materials. The products are fresh. I was surprised that sales were still being made under the conditions of the Covid period (it is not possible to enter, orders are made from the outside door).“

“TLDR; good flavors/burned loaves
Had the ham/gruyère sandwich & it was yummy ?. A perfect hint of dijon & good deli pickles to go with it. Also got the country loaf. Great bread all around I just wish it wasn't burned. You can see in the image how dark the crust is. The top crust was burned on the one I got.“

“My family and I capped off a great vacation with a dinner here on a whim.
1st) We didn’t make a reservation and the host made it happen to get a party of 6 seated in no time at all
2nd) They were extremely accommodating of 3 kids in a party of 6 which many restaurants are not
3rd) Food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. From the bread, to the pasta, to the prosciutto to the pizza, and even the mocktail. 5 stars all the way
4th) The service was tremendous and especially when our oldest son, who’s on the spectrum, lost something and the server held onto it for him, which absolutely made his day.
From a restaurant owner in New Jersey, we all left filled, happy & was the perfect ending to our vacation.“

I live in PA and I never make a trip to CA without several stops at Vienna Pastry. The owner, Jaleh Rahban, is one of the kindest ladies I have ever met. I recommend this shop to everyone. “I am very partial toward Japanese wagashi and I do compare them to what I had in Japan. So it is not easy for me to remark that although the wagashi is very beautiful, the taste was not that great, considering what the reviews have for this place. I drove 3 counties to get here and I had high hope that the taste would be good; but alas, it doesn't live up to the hype. Fugetsu is actually better. So I am rather disappointed. I gave this a 4 stars ratings because they are exquisite, just the taste was not up to Japanese standard. Nothing wrong with it, hence, the 4 stars.“

“Great dessert shop that serves solid breakfast and lunch options as well!
National competition winning, pastry chef background, James Beard nominated author are just some of time and experience that is the foundation that F+F is built on.
Most famous for the pies, I think I've come to love their cookies even more and are much better than mediocre chains (i.e. rhymes with mumble) and other small shops out there. Textured edges, chewy center, and not too sweet. There are vegan options! I still enjoy the seasonal pies (both the passion and yuzu merengue are great) as well as the new variations of cheese cakes.
This small, cozy shop also serves coffee, espresso, and teas as well as various gourmet grocery items. The team here has always been nice and you can find Nicole here often as well.“

“I rushed there after work and so did many others. We were looking for Olivia’s Guts Tour cookie. I picked up a dozen of the weekly assortment including four of Olivias cookies. These cookies are delicious and huge! You order from the self-serv kiosk, it was difficult to only order 12 and in what combination. As you wait for your order to get filled, you see the employees busy working to fill the orders in a clean, orderly bake shop. The aroma was delightful and not too sweet. The decor is minimal with an open layout, so you can wee all the delicious cookies. This location has plenty of parking in the strip mall.“

“I had high expectations because the store was pretty, but I didn't expect it to be this delicious. Banana pudding is crazy. Sea salt chocolate chips are also the best. Be sure to eat it when you come to LA. It was the best dessert I had in the western United States. Plus, the owner or the server? So kind. Parking is very convenient. “The best basic sweet bread I've ever tried. You definitely can't only have one piece of señorita bread! They're pretty similar to Porto's Cheese Rolls except these are softer and almost feel like they melt in your mouth with how soft these are. It's especially true when they're fresh out the oven. These are cool to bring to the office one morning and sharing with everyone. Or take to your family after the day to share as a dessert. They offer other breads but the señorita bread is definitely the star of the show here. Give these a try and you'll probably get these instead of your typical donut.“

“Visited multiple times during our stay in Santa Monica. The donuts are delicious. It’s no frills, definitely not one of these new fancy donut shops. But the donuts are simple, tasty and reasonably priced ($10 for a half dozen). The folks working behind the counter were very friendly and helpful.“
“For the most part the bread is always fresh. I think it just depends on how fast it sells. Conchas and Bolillo are always fresh. Cochinitos not always, it's my favorite bread and I've gotten a couple of stale ones. Parking here can be difficult to find.“

“These heart cookies with the pink frosting were literally my lifeblood in the early 2000s as a young chimp running around the AMS Elementary School.I came back here for the first time in a minute this weekend, now a full grown orangutan, and can confirm these heart cookies with the pink frosting ($1.50) are still literal crack cocaine. I really don't even mess with frosting on cookies usually, but Becker's is just different.I paired an americano with my cookie, as they now have a Hi-Fi Espresso in here which I think slangs some of the best espresso around. It makes me feel like I'm in Europe idk how else to describe it.I almost bought a shirt, but I have SO many shirts already so I opted against it. However, when I was doing my due diligence for this review a sense of regret shot through my spine like it was an epidural when I saw Beckers has been around since 1942. I had NO idea that Beckers has been around since Joseph Stalin was the Time Magazine Person of the Year. Still so crazy he was Time's Person of the Year.......The business is still in the family after 3 generations (Shoutout to the OG Harry Becker for kicking it off), which really makes me want to go back and buy a shirt. I love places passed from generation to generation. No wonder these heart cookies with the pink frosting still taste exactly the same as they did when I was just a little chimp. Some free game for y'all, if you go to someone's party in Manhattan Beach and they don't have a box of Becker's cookies, they are a big fat phony..... ahaha I'm playin but actually OGs will always have a box of Beckers for a function.I should mention that they also have a deli here that people love, but I've really only ever been here for the cookies. You know why I'm here.As the money and botox continues to move into Manhattan Beach, this is one of the 5 or 6 places left keeping the soul of what I knew as a small local beach town alive.THANK YOU BECKERS NEVER SWITCH UP! I'M COMIN BACK FOR THE SHIRT!IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__“

“The woman behind the counter was super kind and patient with us as we worked through what we wanted. We were on a trip and had several gluten free stops in LA.
I loved the bagel.
The zucchini bread tasted like a brownie and a hot pretzel had a baby. Not too sweet. Really tasty.
We had several things.
I had a donut with orange and pomegranate. It was sweet and tangy. We loved our visit and want to take out kids back.
