“What a gem in the middle of Redondo Blvd! Family owned bakery with comfort in every way. Went in to grab a quick breakfast before a gig nearby and was blown away by the bagels! It smells of Indian Spices, warm and comforting, and I loved their bagel sandwich so much I savored it. My husband could not contain his love for his sandwich and gobbled it. The workers/owners are amazing! So kind, lovely customer service and very cool! What a great local spot for sweet or savory! If you’re a tea lovers their Masala Chai was HEAVENLY! I got it iced since it was so hot today, but I’d imagine it’s delicious any way they serve it! Perfection! What a treat on this workday! Will happily go back next time I’m in the area and honestly can’t wait to try their sweets!“

“I love this bakery! It is not fancy looking but their food is delicious. I always get champurradas, pan dulce and pan frances. Their tamales are good and their banana bread is also a nice treat. Prices are so low compared to other bakeries so that is always a nice plus.“

“Finally got to try this boulangerie, and it didn’t disappoint!! Be prepared for a line, if you’re lucky not a long one. They use whole grain flour and amazing butter quality, the flakiness is insane even on the cinnamon roll which Im usually not a fan of and I think that I might go back just for that!! Also got the pain au chocolat granola which I can’t wait to try… it’s genius!!“

“I needed a little European fix today, so I decided to visit Des Croissants Paris. First of all I just finished devouring 4 pastries that were in incredibly delicious!!! Top ingredients straight from France! But what made my visit an outstanding experience, was how lovely and gracious the staff was including the owner. This was my first time trying key lime pie bc I usually don’t like lime unless it’s in a drink. BUT OH WOW I’ve been missing out!!!

The key lime pie was SO good. I love sour flavors, and I think the filling had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It might be a little too sour if you eat the lime filling by itself, but with the cream and crust together?? BOMB!!

I also tried the banana cream pie and really liked it! It tasted just like banana pudding. I think it would be even better with a crust like the one on the key lime pie, if that’s possible!

The service was great, the restroom was clean, and the place was super cute too.

“This is my go-to neighborhood bakery now. Living within short walking distance means I come here every week. I've tried every pastry by now and each one is excellent. They often add new seasonal pastries, most recently a strawberry danish topped with creamy frosting and filled with house-made jam; easily the best vegan pastry I've ever had. Their freshly baked breads are almost all vegan, most of their cakes are vegan, they have vegan sandwiches, and all of their café drinks can be vegan with plenty of plant milks available. Many of these are gluten free as well for those concerned about that, and always clearly marked. These are NOT pastries for crunchy health-food types, they are incredible and indulgent vegan versions of the same croissants, pan au chocolat, scones, cookies, muffins, etc you'd get in any European style bakery. It's a great place to go with omni friends and family because the vegan options are just as good as the nonvegan ones. The place has a really cozy neighborhood type feeling, drawing regulars from the area including families and plenty of cute dogs, and the staff and owners are all super friendly. My omni fiancé and I are having them make our wedding cake! Pro tip 1: go before closing from 2:30-3:00 Monday-Thursday for 30% off everything. Pro tip 2: their day-old breads are half off, which makes their breads a total steal. “Marsha was incredible. We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!“

“Went there today for a light snack. I bought a Nutella and Bananas Foster Mochi Donut (it really did taste like Bananas Foster) and it was soo good. Service was far out, the guy manning the counter (wish I got his name) was super friendly and cool. Overall really good experience and would def be worth going to whenever you’re in the mall.“

I went during the free thin cookie giveaway and bought the Dubai style chocolate cookie. $7 for 2 thin cookies. I got the brownie batter and it was great, falling apart but good. Taste wise for Dubai chocolate was also good. Cookie quality in terms of taste is not the issue. I love chewy cookies but I'm giving it 3 stars for value and also how my cookies stuck together by the time I got home, which was less than 2 miles, so packaging fail. The ladies working at the shop was nice and quick. But $7 for 2 filmsy cookie is a bit expensive in my opinion.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Japanese traditional sweets in Gardena, Chikara Mochi is a must-visit! Their yaki dango (similar to mitarashi dango) is absolutely delicious—soft, chewy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.

They also have a beautiful selection of wagashi and mochi that are almost too cute to eat. Everything is colorful, photogenic, and clearly made with care.

The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the different sweets, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and try more!“

Got the hot link and brisket kolache the fresh made buns were perfect and the hot link kolache has the perfect amount of jalapeños. Highly recommend for lovers of kolaches and good food“

“We ordered two sandwiches with a side of fries, and everything was honestly so good. The sandwiches tasted super fresh and were made with quality ingredients. I got the tuna sandwich, and it was loaded with crisp veggies and sprouts, which gave it the perfect crunch and made it feel really balanced instead of heavy. The fries deserve their own shoutout they came out hot, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and were impossible to stop eating. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and our order came out pretty quickly even though it was busy. 10/10“
