“I feel bad for the one and only employee working there today who's coworker left her with no cookies baked and unable to fulfill the orders. She did the best she could and was apologetic and explained the lack of product. Need to have more than one person running a store like this.“

“This spot has been open for a while and I never tried it until today. I recently went to Paris and I loved the bakeries there so I decided to try this bakery which is very close to my house. It was really good. I chose the ham and cheese croissant. It was fresh and delicious. The coffee was good too. I will be back here soon. I plan to become a regular customer weekly.“

“This place is great! It's hard to find good Central American bakeries but praise and glory to God for this one! They have different Guatemalan and Salvadorian tamales. My favorite are the Guatemalan pork tamales. Not everyone makes them right but they're delicious at this bakery. I also had their corn atole which is a hot drink and it wasn't too sweet (something most places get wrong!). Their assortment of bread (pan dulce) is AMAZING!!! It's always fresh and so yummy. I haven't had anything that isn't tasty, this bakery is awesome!“

“Came around 9am and got a few donuts along with a bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Donuts were nice and soft, perfectly glazed. It reminds me a lot of my aunt's donuts and I always thought she made the best donuts in the family compared to the rest of the family on both of my parents side. The croissant sandwich is good too, it has mayo, scrambled egg and bacon on a big croissant. It's good value for what you get, it's not toasted or packaged like you would get at any upscale coffee shop, but I still think it's good for a quick fix. Having grown up in a donut shop and being around family who also owned donut shops for 40+ years, I understand all the work and effort that goes into operating a donut shop. Whoever is the baker here at this donut shop is doing a wonderful job at making the donuts. Kudos to the operators for getting the right flour for the donuts as well.

All in all I think this is a great donut shop with a good selection of items without having too many things to sell like some other locations. I would come back here again if i had a hankering for donuts while I'm in SoCal.

But this is a nice quaint donut shop, and if you like softer donuts this is the place for you. But if you like the tougher donuts then I wouldn't recommend this place. The price seemed reasonable to me, especially with the cost of flour going up; it's justifiable in my opinion. There is no inside seating; only take out. The people working were friendly enough as well. If you got time, definitely give this place a try. Parking looks to be small but it wasn't packed like i had expected when i walked in that morning.“

“A dream, truly. Everything here is magical ✨ Lara is THE SWEETEST! Even sweeter than the treats 🍪 and her story is very cool and inspiring. You absolutely cannot go wrong but my favorites are the Bourbon Maple 🍁 Vanilla Pecan bar, Sweet Potato 🍠 Pie bars, the brookies, chocolate chip/espresso Oreo cookies 🍪, the London fog and biscoff cookies are also fire…. “Finally got to try this boulangerie, and it didn’t disappoint!! Be prepared for a line, if you’re lucky not a long one. They use whole grain flour and amazing butter quality, the flakiness is insane even on the cinnamon roll which Im usually not a fan of and I think that I might go back just for that!! Also got the pain au chocolat granola which I can’t wait to try… it’s genius!!“

This was my first time trying key lime pie bc I usually don’t like lime unless it’s in a drink. BUT OH WOW I’ve been missing out!!!

The key lime pie was SO good. I love sour flavors, and I think the filling had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It might be a little too sour if you eat the lime filling by itself, but with the cream and crust together?? BOMB!!

I also tried the banana cream pie and really liked it! It tasted just like banana pudding. I think it would be even better with a crust like the one on the key lime pie, if that’s possible!

The service was great, the restroom was clean, and the place was super cute too.

“This is my go-to neighborhood bakery now. Living within short walking distance means I come here every week. I've tried every pastry by now and each one is excellent. They often add new seasonal pastries, most recently a strawberry danish topped with creamy frosting and filled with house-made jam; easily the best vegan pastry I've ever had. Their freshly baked breads are almost all vegan, most of their cakes are vegan, they have vegan sandwiches, and all of their café drinks can be vegan with plenty of plant milks available. Many of these are gluten free as well for those concerned about that, and always clearly marked. These are NOT pastries for crunchy health-food types, they are incredible and indulgent vegan versions of the same croissants, pan au chocolat, scones, cookies, muffins, etc you'd get in any European style bakery. It's a great place to go with omni friends and family because the vegan options are just as good as the nonvegan ones. The place has a really cozy neighborhood type feeling, drawing regulars from the area including families and plenty of cute dogs, and the staff and owners are all super friendly. My omni fiancé and I are having them make our wedding cake! Pro tip 1: go before closing from 2:30-3:00 Monday-Thursday for 30% off everything. “We had a nice, cozy dinner here and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We ordered our pasta without cheese, but it was accidentally served with cheese. The staff handled the mistake very professionally and apologized immediately. They quickly brought us the correct order, and the service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. Mistakes can happen, but the way they resolved the situation was excellent.“

We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!“

“The worker was very nice, and the store was clean. We got the Oreo cheesecake mousse, and the tres leches cake slice. We didn't care for the mousse too much, but that was personal preference (not that it was bad). The tres leches cake was where it was at! We both loved it! It was light and balanced, not sopping with milk like some places do. That being said, I think if you're looking for a traditional tres leches slice you might be disappointed. This was more like a traditional, light, white cake. It was delicious though!“

“I had a crazy craving for bbq pork buns and I now ONLY get them from here, and I live 30 minutes away on a clear day of traffic so I wanted to hurry before traffic got dumb. My favorite is the steamed chicken bun which I forgot to take pictures of before I ate them all. It’s a little meal all in one go with minced chicken, Chinese sausage, hard boiled egg all in a perfect seasoned mix. They freeze great! They have both steamed and baked bbq pork buns and I prefer the steamed but I get both and they still are the best deal.
I also got two pork sung buns to eat on the drive home but I could barely finish one they were so big. They have many other pastries and items, but I don’t know enough about them to want to try although I’ve heard really good things about the pineapple buns. I’m not a big custard or moon cake fan but people say good things about those as well. My only advice is to go in prepared for what you want and get there as early as you can. I got there by 7:15 AM and they open at 7 which makes parking is a breeze. There were only three people in front of me with two gals behind the counter so it was perfect because I was back in my car at 7:30 heading home. It just goes to show that you don’t need a big fancy bakery to find quality delicious product at actual affordable prices. I got 10 baked bbq pork buns, 6 steamed bbq pork buns, 5 steamed chicken buns, 2 pork sung buns, all for my family, all for $40. Love it. Can’t wait to go back for myself next week!“

“Went there today for a light snack. I bought a Nutella and Bananas Foster Mochi Donut (it really did taste like Bananas Foster) and it was soo good. Service was far out, the guy manning the counter (wish I got his name) was super friendly and cool. Overall really good experience and would def be worth going to whenever you’re in the mall.“

I went during the free thin cookie giveaway and bought the Dubai style chocolate cookie. $7 for 2 thin cookies. I got the brownie batter and it was great, falling apart but good. Taste wise for Dubai chocolate was also good. Cookie quality in terms of taste is not the issue. I love chewy cookies but I'm giving it 3 stars for value and also how my cookies stuck together by the time I got home, which was less than 2 miles, so packaging fail. The ladies working at the shop was nice and quick. But $7 for 2 filmsy cookie is a bit expensive in my opinion.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Japanese traditional sweets in Gardena, Chikara Mochi is a must-visit! Their yaki dango (similar to mitarashi dango) is absolutely delicious—soft, chewy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.

They also have a beautiful selection of wagashi and mochi that are almost too cute to eat. Everything is colorful, photogenic, and clearly made with care.
