My boyfriend and I are spending the weekend in Hermosa for his birthday and we’ve come to this cafe 3 times and we plan to come again before we leave. Everything was so so good. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant literally made my eyes roll back. All of the pastry’s are fire. Everyone who works here is super kind but especially this one girl (kinda tall, body tea, blonde hair w/ low lights??? And black claw clip). I don’t know her name and clearly don’t know her at all but I could just tell she was a girls girl. She was great and her vibes were amazing. Okay love you bye🤍“

This was my first time trying key lime pie bc I usually don’t like lime unless it’s in a drink. BUT OH WOW I’ve been missing out!!!

The key lime pie was SO good. I love sour flavors, and I think the filling had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It might be a little too sour if you eat the lime filling by itself, but with the cream and crust together?? BOMB!!

I also tried the banana cream pie and really liked it! It tasted just like banana pudding. I think it would be even better with a crust like the one on the key lime pie, if that’s possible!

The service was great, the restroom was clean, and the place was super cute too.

“Great, tasty pastries and delicious cake slices! Angel Maid Bakery is a wonderful family-owned bakery offering Japanese-style and French-inspired pastries.

I especially love their light, fluffy European-style sponge cakes; they remind me of the cakes I enjoyed in Europe. Their chiffon cakes and cream puffs are also delicious with just the right level of sweetness.

A lovely neighborhood bakery with a great selection of cakes and pastries. Highly recommended.“

“What a gem in the middle of Redondo Blvd! Family owned bakery with comfort in every way. Went in to grab a quick breakfast before a gig nearby and was blown away by the bagels! It smells of Indian Spices, warm and comforting, and I loved their bagel sandwich so much I savored it. My husband could not contain his love for his sandwich and gobbled it. The workers/owners are amazing! So kind, lovely customer service and very cool! What a great local spot for sweet or savory! If you’re a tea lovers their Masala Chai was HEAVENLY! I got it iced since it was so hot today, but I’d imagine it’s delicious any way they serve it! Perfection! What a treat on this workday! Will happily go back next time I’m in the area and honestly can’t wait to try their sweets!“

“Marsha was incredible. We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!“

“Went there today for a light snack. I bought a Nutella and Bananas Foster Mochi Donut (it really did taste like Bananas Foster) and it was soo good. Service was far out, the guy manning the counter (wish I got his name) was super friendly and cool. Overall really good experience and would def be worth going to whenever you’re in the mall.“

It's essentially a to-go place but there is outdoor seating. I highly recommend calling/texting the business phone number to place your order for pick up ~ as the kolaches run out fast and are freshly made from scratch. So excited to go back!😋“

“Chikara Mochi is a childhood favorite store. The mochi is so beautiful! With so much attention to detail it’s hard to eat lol. Moreover, the service is always fantastic when I go there. The way they welcome the customers feels so wonderful in comparison to other long-standing mochi shops (like Fugetsu Do; where sadly, service pales in comparison). Chikara Mochi highly recommended!“

​When one of my food items never arrived, I went inside and saw a 40-person line. I flagged down Steven M. at the espresso machine to see if he could point me in the right direction. Instead of passing the torch, Steven took full ownership of the situation. He was exceptionally polite, coordinated directly with the kitchen and register teams, and resolved the issue with a great attitude. This was NOT his job, and he did it all professionally with a smile. ​Customer service like Steven’s is rare.

“BEST Panaderia in South Bay for fresh hot bollios or pan dulce, BUT service can sometimes feel like you are handing money to a robot. Yes, I understand sometimes it 6-7am in the early morning, but the counter staff are just lifeless a lot of the time.“
