Amazing coffee. I do either plain or vanilla lattes here. The aroma wafting to the street is what pulled me in the first time. I LOVE coffee, and have found it repellent since becoming pregnant. No coffee at home anymore, no Starbucks. But yes to an OffSet latte!

Offset Coffee Roasters is a highly regarded coffee shop in Hermosa Beach, with another location in Inglewood. The coffee is some of the best, above average, and delicious, with specific praise for lattes like the Vanilla Latte and a seasonal Maple Cinnamon Latte. Drinks are smooth, creamy, and not harsh. Favorite menu items include the flat white, often made perfectly, the Mocha Latte, a matchata (matcha+horchata), a hot chai, and their iced teas. The seasonal menus are also excellent. The cold foam is particularly addictive.
The staff is consistently described as first rate, friendly, competent, efficient, kind, sweet, and passionate about taking care of customers. The space inside is teeny tiny and can get crowded, making it more of a get-your-drink-and-go place rather than a spot to sit down and work. Patience is sometimes needed during busy times. However, the outdoor area is nice, quaint, and comfortable with benches, perfect for enjoying a coastal breeze. It is an ideal place for a quick tech detox before walking to the nearby pier or beach. The food is also good. Overall, it is considered the best coffee shop in the area.
