“Jade Rabbit was absolutely amazing! The food is full of flavor and incredibly tasty. Highly recommend the fried rice and chow mein with beef and spicy Sichuan chicken, with spicy broccoli and roasted sweet potatoes on the side — everything was delicious.

For appetizers, the Sichuan fries and egg rolls are to die for 🔥. So crispy, flavorful, and addictive!

And make sure to finish with the chocolate chip cookie 😍🍪 — the perfect ending to a great meal.

The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. “Lee’s cafe is a Taiwanese-style cafe with a hint of Hong Kong sparkle, serving the perfect mix of Taiwanese and Hong Kong food. The toast is absolutely marvelous, and I truly believe it is worth every penny. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other dishes. The sesame cold noodles were good, but missing something—I felt they didn’t quite hit the mark. The wontons were delicious, but the braised pork belly rice was your typical run-of-the-mill rice. Nothing terribly special, but delicious nonetheless. The HK milk tea, however, leaned very watery and missed the signature strong tea taste of a HK milk tea.
Also, their bathroom sink was broken and put as a “use at your own risk”. Hopefully they have fixed this since my visit!
Yet, through all this, I would still return to Liu’s kitchen—for their toast!“

“My friend and I had a delicious lunch at Hui Tou Xiang! The leek pancakes and dumplings are all handmade in-house as well as the noodles. We’ll be going back.“

Mongolian beef was probably my second favorite. Also tried the Singapore Rice Noodle and House Chow Fun, the latter of which had perfectly cooked shrimp.

- Sesame noodles were terrible. Texture was similar to plaster of paris and taste was off. It could be that I'm used to toasted sesame oil and this was just (untoasted?) sesame.

+ Pan-friend dumplings were tasty. Texture was great -- love crispy exteriors and soft interiors.

“This has been my favorite spot since the 80s (i'm 42). I've always loved their little chicken wings and chow mein. Even now as an adult and having lived all over California, I've yet to find a place that compares. This is a must stop for me every time I go visit family and I absolutely crave it when I'm not there.
the appearance is old and half shut down, but the Chinese food counter is still going strong. Big portions, delicious food, and great prices. And as a bonus: they are still selling the Orange Julius that I had when I was little too. I dont know how long they've been in business but since i remember them from when i was little, I can safely say at least 40 years and still Killing it.

“Chinese comfort food. Good serving size, they will stuff your container full. The Kung Pao Chicken and black pepper chicken are great. They have wings too and lots of other options. I will be going back to try it all. Good price as well. Support local and try it next time instead of Panda! I still like my Panda Orange chicken tho! “I had a really good meal at Juicy Dumpling Factory! The soup dumplings were solid and packed with a lot of juicy broth. I also tried the pan-fried dumplings, and those were probably my favorite—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and just fun to eat.

The cucumber salad was bomb and super refreshing. I also ordered the beef noodle soup, and I was pleasantly surprised. The noodles were bouncy, tasted fresh, and the broth had a lot of flavor. It looks spicy, but it’s actually much milder than I expected, which made it easy to enjoy.

Overall, a great spot if you’re craving dumplings and comforting noodle dishes. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!“

For light Chinese in a great environment.. The food is seasoned at a reasonable level and it is consistent. We love the fresh string beans- for a minute they changed their source and the beans were stringy but they are back to the crisp tasty beans without the annoying strings. Love the Dan noodles and the chicken dishes are well cooked and seasoned at the right level without being annoyingly
Sauces. The environment is great, upscale, easy parking and centrally located on the west side of town. It gets crowded and there’s a lot of takeout pick up - The only area for improvement is managing the takeout process along with properly greeting guests, who are going to dine in - All of that is done in one central location, sometimes the pick up drivers are pushy because they have a time crunch while dine in guests just want a leisurely meal. Other than that, Dan Modern is highly recommended as a family favor for us“

“We went to Dan Modern Chinese on a Thursday evening around 7:15pm. We had called earlier and were told there wasn’t a need to make reservations. When we got there, they had several tables available and we were seated immediately. The restaurant looks nice from the outside and was also very clean, roomy and comfortable inside. The restaurant doesn’t try to be a fancy affair, rather a casual spot and the furniture reflects it. That’s not a criticism, just a choice they made and it works really well.

Service was quick, friendly and efficient. We got our drinks orders in and it came out quickly. The menu had clearly marked options for vegetarians We then placed our food order. They appear to bring out food as it becomes ready rather than sequencing the meal, so if you prefer a sequence, you should infor your server.

The taste of the food was OK. While I don’t think anything was bad, it wasn’t great either. We asked for chili oil to try and spice it up a little.

Overall, I’d say an average on taste, great service and decent atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, casual, modern Chinese restaurant!!“
