“Great, family-owned place with delicious, authentic Indian comfort food at reasonable prices (3 entrees, shareable appetizer, Naan, drinks, and 20+% tip for <$85). Servers were attentive, owners greeted everyone, atmosphere was welcoming.“

“This place is a gem! The staff was welcoming and friendly, helpful and attentive through the entire experience. The food was excellent: some expected Indian fare (curries, tandoori, biryani, daal, etc) and some mash ups (mac and cheese pakora, paneer masala fries, korma alfredo, dosa quesadilla). Everything we had was fantastic. Prices are reasonable, too!“

“Crown of India has excellent and delicious food, and the serving staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend eating here. They are very accepting of LGBT community. May I suggest their garlic/cheese naan. I don't know of any other Indian restaurant that makes this form of naan. I take all my friends there for a wonderful meal.“

“A legitimately unique and underrated location in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles!
I've seen this restaurant several times when I stop to clean my car at the car wash that's next door, and was always curious to try it.
On my most recent visit, I decided to do exactly that, and I'm pleased to say that I wasn't disappointed in the slightest!
The fusion food here is creative, unique, AND affordable!
I decided to try the three fusion tacos for about $12 total, with the three tacos being the Paneer Taco, the Chicken Tikka Taco, and the Lamb Taco.
All three of these tacos were packed of flavor and texture, while also being extremely filling!
Nonetheless, the standout to me was the Chicken Tikka Taco, which was so rich, spicy, creamy, and delicious!
For vegetarians, the Paneer Taco stood on its own as well and was absolutely full of seasoning and flavor.
I was also warmly welcomed when I came in and my to-go order was ready in no time at all.
There's an intimate, slightly small dining space inside if you so choose, but it's also a great option for take-out, which is what I chose.
This is definitely an excellent option for delicious, high quality, unique fusion food in the Hollywood area. I highly recommend!“

“Badmaash was so delicious. Whether you prefer traditional or modern takes on Indian cuisine, they knock it all out of the park. The Butter Chicken and freshly made Naan was perfect. The charred spicy broccolini from their fusion menu was also tasty. And the restaurant was extremely nice to provide us with a triad of desert options including an ice cream sandwich, coconut pudding and freshly made hot chai. Thank you to Mo & Alex for the excellent service. Can’t wait to return!“

“It's an office favorite! Excellent experience handling questions about the kitchen and food handling processes for allergens in the store. I felt confident that I could safely eat here which is rare. Started with basic tikka masala, garlic naan, and rice, and will definitely return to try other dishes.
Dietary restrictions: Accommodated multiple food allergies“

“SO delicious, I love this place and highly recommend! Everything tastes good, it’s honestly hard to decide what to pick when you’re getting the two or three item combo. The chicken tikka masala is amazing, even my relative from Europe visiting that is not used to Indian food loves it and can eat this dish, he even gets a double portion. The naan is baked fresh. Definitely check this place out, the people working there are so nice and it feels like you’re eating a delicious homemade meal.“

“I love this place. Service and food are great. Ravi used to live in England so I think that makes his food the closest to "back home" for me. Chicken Tikka Masala is so creamy.“

“Flavor of India is an Indian restaurant where you will find all the usual fare: korma, saag, dal, samosas, etc. One strength is the combo platter for two where you can enjoy multiple dishes for a single package. The service is outstanding, but the food is only fine - no complaints but nothing special either.
Vegetarian options: Most Indian dishes are vegetarian. There is also a vegetarian combo platter.“

“It’s not easy to find good Indian food restaurant in LA but luckily we found it .
We ordered haka noodles ( which is not in the menu but if you will ask it then they will give it to you). It was ok .
Second dish was Chicken Momos which was by far the stand out dish . There were only 6 pieces . 0 Marks for Presentation but taste wise was 4.5/5 .
Lastly , we ordered chicken tikka(boneless) which was good too. Specially with green chutney which was very yummy.
Special thanks to Dhillon for his service and recommendation.“

“I’ve ordered delivery and I’ve ordered pick-up so many times. I have to say that this place has the best Indian food I’ve ever had! I have lived and traveled all over the world, including India. Order is always correct, and oh so tasty. You can order your spicy level which I love! Spectacular flavor! Great Portions! Friendly service! Always parking available up front. But this place is worth the drive. I crave this place!“

“YUM!! Wish I had found this place sooner. The food was all fantastic, chicken tikka masala was our favorite. Also got lamb vindaloo, chicken biryani, aloo gobi, mirchi bajji, cheese naan, chili garlic naan. Everything was fantastic. Cant wait to try again!
No wait on a weekday evening, restaurant has plenty of nice seating for parties of all sizes.
We really wanted to try goat biryani but that is only available weekends :)
Parking: Free parking lot behind the restaurant“

“Small restaurant with the best Northern Indian cuisine in the Los Angeles area, in my opinion. The butter chicken is amazing. The garlic Naan is too good. We pick up veggie pakoras and chai tea all of the time. The best!
Kid-friendliness: Owner and staff are super warm towards kids.“

“I ordered delivery via Uber Eats. I had the veggie pakora, tandoori fries and lentil soup. Everything was fresh, arrived piping hot and was packed with flavor! Just an fyi this restaurant is rated 4.8/5 with 68 reviews on Uber Eats as of today (10/16/23). It’s considered a top eat and I can see why! Recommend and will definitely be ordering from here again! :)“

“I’ve looked Tikka Masala ever since I was a kid and eating at this place has just made my love for the food even better. I tried the Panner Tikka Masala with naan and I was happy with the food. It was fresh and hot! The naan was also hot and freshly cooked which made the meal completely better. I also ordered Shrimp Tikka which is something completely new to me and I loved it. It tastes like a kebab and very crispy. Great Customer Service! Lots of dishes to try from the menu. Check it out!“

“We were a group of 2, ordered lamb and chicken biryani. Both were very delicious (a bit too spicy though we requested mild). Rice needed to be a bit drier than what was served, were told that it is how it's made in Northern India, it was so good, but wanted it to be drier :)“
“Indian spot located on the 2nd level off of Wilshire. When I typed the name in, Google maps took me to the one on Westwood, so make sure you’re putting in the right address if you’re intending to go here. Very limited street parking. Credit cards accepted. They do take reservations but when we went on a Thursday evening at 8pm, it wasn’t necessary. Masks required and they do check proof of vaccination, although they wanted a picture of the card and didn’t accept my digital CA QR code. Food is family style; the tandoori mix grill was a good way to get a variety of meats/seafood. The butter chicken was tasty. The peas pulao was a good complement to that sauce, though I preferred the garlic naan. They do serve alcohol. It’s good for big groups and they had a TV playing music videos inside. They were open fairly late on a weeknight, so it’s a good spot to get some food if you’re in the Brentwood area and get hungry, but don’t have a reservation anywhere.“

“Indians right on the way to the pier with nice outdoor seating. Map clear, service friendly and attentive. It was a little cooler in the evening and we had our own heater at the table. Cocktails ? well mixed and round off an evening on site. The food was well seasoned and the size was appropriate for the price/performance ratio. We always find a place and there is always a place to sit for a longer time - check only when asked and not, as is often the case, directly at the table - so this is particularly pleasant for European guests... Parking at the pier is subject to a charge depending on time/day $5-20
Parking: 3min walk from the pier/parking lot. Fees apply. On public holidays it can be crowded in the evenings but never a problem during the week“
