“Pailin Thai Cuisine was the first place we had dinner when we arrived in LA in August 2024. It is some of the best Thai food we have ever had. The dishes are kept simple (as they should be) and at the same time the flavor combination is fantastic. Only five stars and a huge recommendation from here. In addition, the price is more than fair - it is the cheapest (but the best) meal we have had so far on our tour of California.“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. “Wow, this place has great food. I got the Pad Thai special with lobster and crab and it was excellent. I found this place via Google maps search and walked here after dropping off my rental car. I was able to get seated right away and the service was great. I also had the lemon grass ice sorbet which was also great.

“This is GREAT Thai food. LOVED the Tom Yum with shrimp and Pad Thai Chicken. Reasonable prices for this zip code! It’s an upscale dive in terms of ambience. Location wise it’s a hidden gem, hiding in plain sight right near Highland and Rosecrans. Very limited seating (about 6 tables) and I think their main focus is on take out, vs in house dining which is ironic as there is a parking lot literally across the street!

“I ordered takeout for lunch today from tuk tuk. Best authentic Thai green curry I’ve ever had with round Thai eggplant cooked Al dente to perfection & bamboo shoot & Thai basil. Yum!! Paired with the mixed rice is like a warm hug of coconut and aromatic deliciousness with just the right amount of chili. Sweet basil eggplant is awesome this dish can be hit or miss but this is a definite hit. Drunken noodles also very good. My most favorite of all is their green curry.“

“Had a great time here ! I am vegan and my cousin is gluten free & vegetarian , and they had so many great options ! The staff was so kind in helping us decide on what to order. The food was so flavorful and delicious with great portion sizes, we got the pad Thai and the turmeric curry ramen , plus 2 hard kombucha on draft. I also grabbed a pack of vegan Chocolate chip cookies on the way out that were fantastic. Plus, it was as super close to our hotel which was amazing ! A great vegan spot in Santa Monica ! Would highly recommend.

The food is delicious. I ordered Larb with chicken. I don't know how they made it so tart, salty and flavorful, but I was thoroughly impressed.
My one issue with the restaurant was that there wasn't much seating, it was cramped, and when the door opens, it creates a wind tunnel that is unpleasant to sit in. We had to move tables because of it.“
