-Yagul is a Oaxacan oasis.
-I found out about this place while exploring the neighborhood & noticed a lot of people popping in/out.
-Not only that the beautiful smell of Mexican food wafted into my nostrils, so I mentally bookmarked this spot.
-Not too long later, I came in for a nice breakfast.
-The Huevos Rancheros really hit the spot.
-The portion was not too big & everything tasted fresh, especially the beans & rice.

“Stopped here for an açaí bowl. It was standard, I got the classic one and someone in my group got the go nuts. I think this place is more geared towards the smoothies and juices, as the bowl choices are limited. They have outdoor seating only. A grab and go fridge with sandwiches, protein bars, drinks etc. Service was quick and friendly.“

“Oh my gosh, is this my favorite place to get coffee in SM? Yes! So cute, great coffee and smoothies, great avacado and egg salad toasts. Great dog watching and people watching too. Easy to park, but pay the meter, the meter people make a sweep in the morning. Lovely place to sit, lots of shaded places.“

UnUrban Coffee in Santa Monica is one of those hidden gems that can be the home for many fun experiences. Whether you’re stopping by to pick up your morning brew, reuniting with a long-time friend, or happen to be there to witness some type of cool live performance in their stage area, you’re sure to feel perfectly at home. The first thing that you’ll notice about UnUrban is that it’s heavily influenced by art, which is clearly showcased from its building artwork, outdoor furniture, and even its logo. Luckily, you get that same amount of quirkiness reflected when you step through its retro screen covered wooden doors as you are welcomed by bright colors infused everywhere you can possibly imagine, and the displaying of unique local artwork lining its walls for patrons to enjoy. And the more art-focused the shop is, at least for me, the more options there are for food and drink that meets everyone’s dietary restrictions or preferences. “Great boba, streamlined self ordering experience but definitely missing the human experience. Our group ordered 6 drinks and had a couple of questions but with no cashier we had to guess the answers. The improvement would be to add more description to the individual menu items (like flavor notes of different tea options such as Hokkaido and Okinawa).The boba was good and the portions were pretty big. I like that they offer ice and sweetness options.I definitely do recommend stopping in!“

The staff seemed a bit rushed and didn't have much time for small talk or extra conversation, but they were efficient in taking my order and making my drink.Speaking of the drinks, they were definitely the highlight of my visit. I tried a couple of different smoothies and they were all delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh and the flavors were well-balanced. I especially enjoyed the tropical flavors and the addition of fresh fruit in some of the drinks.Overall, while the service wasn't amazing, the drinks were definitely worth it.
