“Hopdoddy is great every time. They have a variety of burgers, chicken, a good Ahi burger, a couple veggie options and its all good. It's a bit on the expensive side, especially with fries, but worth it. Food is always fresh, cooked to order from high quality ingredients. This where I like to go for my birthday: a big burger, sweet potato fries, and a boozy shake. Staff is friendly and it's very clean. One of my favorites.“

“Came here cause it was close to the Greek Theatre and they had a special to who I went to go see (Djo) and it was sooo good. Theres a public parking right around the corner, the food was ready pretty quick, fresh seats outside, and delicious burger and curly fries. I’m coming here again if I’m ever in the area.“

“I’m not joking at all when i genuinely say this is one of the best burgers i’ve had in LA!! I had the classic burger with jalapeños added & sweet potato fries. the burger was beyond flavorful & fresh. the sweet potato fries were crispy and well seasoned. I also love that there’s even a sweet potato fry option in the first place. The customer service was exceptional also, very friendly team. “The burgers are flavorful and tasty. The ingredients are fresh, and the meat is of excellent quality. The meat is so tender that it virtually melts in your mouth, and the sauce adds to the flavor. Juicy and slightly pink in the middle, there was nothing that I did not like. This is the place to go if you're looking for a great burger in LA. P.S: "First Light Farms" provides their beef, which is certified humane, halal, and free of antibiotics, GMOs, and hormones (a New Zealand meat company).“

“I recently stopped by Tam’s Burgers and had a solid overall experience. The menu is packed with variety—from classic burgers and fries to breakfast items, Mexican dishes, and even slushies. It’s a place where you can definitely satisfy a craving no matter what you’re in the mood for.

One of the standout positives is that they now accept EBT, which makes their food more accessible to everyone. The prices are reasonable considering the portions, most meals range from about $10 to $15. They also have combo options that include drinks, and the drink station is fully stocked with Pepsi products, frozen slushies, and soft-serve machines.

The interior is simple but clean, with a modern black tile floor and red booth seating. There’s plenty of space to sit and eat comfortably. The “Order Here” signage is clear, and there’s a solid system in place for taking orders.

Staff were efficient, though not overly friendly, which is fine, this place seems more about speed and quantity than sit-down service. Still, the food came out hot and fresh.

“I saw this place while driving and saw a line waiting for their food, so I decided to give it a try.. Ì asked those in line, what was good there.. The answer was either the teriyaki bowl or plates, and the teriyaki burgers.. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl.. it looked and smelled great driving home.. After eating it, I didn’t understand the line of people waiting.. It was okay, but in my opinion, no big deal.. I’ll be honest, I did eat it ALL, and the serving size was BIG, so by no means was it bad.. To be fair though, I’m gonna have to try again, and see what I missed the first time..“

“We are visiting town from Texas and ran across Irvs burgers in Balboa. Service was friendly and quick. Breakfast burritos was perfect and the patty melt was amazing. “Occupying space next to Vons with big dining space and plenty of parking. Simple seats with no fancy design, but comfy enough. They closed quite early in the evening but opened from lunch time.

They did provide self order kiosk but you could also order in person.

BTC itself represented what they offered, Burger Chicken and Taco. All dishes had Korean touch so we certainly got their Korean Fried Chicken in Spicy Korean sauce. We loved that the portion was great for the price and the sauce was finger lickin’ good. Wish the meat could be juicier, but still pretty decent!

We tried some of the tacos including Beef Bulgogi and Spicy Beef Rib. They were probably pricier at $6, but taste were luscious! Both were flavorful and great in their own way and toppings were plenty here. I wasn’t that much into their tortilla, but could compensate that it wasn’t their expertise. The seasoning certainly was the highlight.“

“Frankin It Up makes a really good burger! I have walked by a bunch of times and today finally was able to stop in for dinner. I had the Wag burger and spuds.

The burger was delicious and the spuds were great.

Jeff is super friendly as well.

Highly recommend. Also as a note, this is super close to Hinano Cafe which always gets rated as a great burger… Frankin It Up is a far better burger so if you’re in the area and can choose one, go with Frankin It Up.“

“I stopped by HiHo Cheeseburger in Marina del Rey around 3 p.m. on a Saturday, that magical hour when parking is neither impossible nor easy. The restaurant shares a gated lot with REI, which kindly validates two hours.

Inside, the vibe was steady but calm. I ordered the HiHo Double and fries, which arrived in a leisurely fifteen minutes, a dignified wait for 100% grass-fed, grass-finished Wagyu. The burger, though smaller than an In-N-Out Double-Double, was excellent: melty cheese, slow-cooked onions, and crisp lettuce. The fries were fine, but McDonald’s and the BK Lounge can rest easy.

At $10.45, HiHo is in a higher price category than In-N-Out and Shakeshack, but of comparable quality of taste. Worth a visit, but not at the top of my LA/OC burger rotation.
