“Been visiting for 20 years. Taste and flavor are always on point! Friendly service, you won't get unless you get the owner herself. But the food is always so friggin delicious, that I don't care about friendliness. It's not full service anyway, and the food comes out quickly. And, the price is so reasonable - better than reasonable. I could almost never go to any other restaurants in the same plaza because this place is so much more superior.“

“Love Jo&Go Sushi. They saved me when we first moved to LA and while the house was being remodeled.
4 years later... it's still as good as first discovered. It's a neighborhood gem inside the Korean Greenland Mrkt, which btw, is also awesome.
Must try is the salmon bowl, the salmon slices are so tender and buttery... they give you a crazy amount of salmon over the rice and seriously it's enough to have a 2nd meal! One note about the bowl... I'm not a fan of drenching really good cooked rice with sauce, so I always order without the sauce. The rice is not sushi rice which makes it even more delicious... the rice is always perfectly cooked. You get a miso soup and a cute little container of pickled radish (delish). I would love to know where they source the fish... it's like being in Japan, it's so fresh.
I'll be catering with them soon and happy to update the review post order.
The kind woman who takes the order is so sweet and cute, always smiling...says hi and bye all the time.
If you're in the area, definitely give it a try for takeaway.“

“Why are the reviews so bad? It’s a nice place. Serving is huge. Staff are nice. I like how they don’t mix the vegetables and you get to decide what you want to put in your pho. They give you a big water container so you don’t need to ask over and over. For me all of these work because I don’t eat onions and I am a water drinker. Keep it up!“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

“Another ktown classic which I’m so glad I finally got to try. Sul lung tang is such a comforting dish for me with the warm hearty soup. I got the mixed which came with brisket, flank, intestine, tripe, tongue etc, although you can customize it however you want. I topped mine with a generous helping of spring onion, seasoned with salt and paper, poured in my bowl of rice and proceeded to slurp the bowl till I could lick the bottom. Thinking about it makes me drool. Highly highly recommended!!
We got lucky and there was no wait when we arrived but by the time we were done eating, the line was out the door! Service is quick they only serve cabbage and radish kimchi for banchan.“

“Jilli is just a really good spot. The food is solid, the makgeolli is so addicting, and the risotto is surprisingly soooooo gooood. But the staff is honestly the highlight. They’re genuinely friendly and fun without being over the top about it, not to mention very knowledgable about the selections. The kind of place that just has a good vibe and makes you want to come back.“

“The food and service were amazing. The meats and options they have here are very unique and delicious, up to 32 different options. The person who gave us our meat was nice and caring. As some side notes, if this is your first time going to Korean BBQ place, you cook your own food so make sure you know how to cook meats, also the music they played here is pretty good!“

“Amazing food, so worth the price as well! The 대창 is so delicious!! I have twin babies and the restaurant was very accommodating to my family & I with our stroller. We really appreciated it since we previously came from a way more spacious outdoor restaurant that gave us horrible service due to us having babies with us. So we left and decided to come to Yangmani instead to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Will be back for the amazing food and wonderful welcoming service from the staff! Thank you!“

The food (Rose Tteokbokki) came out very quickly and was delicious, excited to try the other dishes!! Great selection of music as well, it made the atmosphere very welcoming and pleasant. Will be coming again 100%!!
PS. The pricing here is astounding, VERY worth for how good and how much you get“

“We ate inside at the counter and tried a little bit of a few things off the menu. The sweet & spicy fried chicken and fried chicken dumplings were delicious. 😋🍴 We also tried the bulgogi and spicy chicken bowl and both were so delicious. As a side note, the man that waited on us (not sure if it was the owner or not) was very nice and hospitable. ☺️“

“I found my new favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. PZK BBQ on Beverly Blvd in the Fairfax neighborhood is it.
My daughter took me there for Father's Day, 2026. My go-to order at Korean restaurants is galbi, marinated beef short ribs. At PZK BBQ you can get all you can eat at a reasonable price. It's delicious. Service is quick because you grill it at your table. It's delicious.
The typical Korean side dishes, also all you can eat, are also delicious.
Our server was pleasant and efficient. The ambiance is pleasant. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The way the restaurant is set up, I couldn't see any way for a party of more than six could eat together. We were a party of five, my daughter, her family, and me, so we were fine.
There's a valet parking station out front, or there's street parking. The restaurant is kid friendly as long as your kids like Korean food.“

“I came to this mom and pop restaurant on a Saturday night with no expectations and boy was I BLOWN AWAY. I absolutely loved it. The couple that own the place were super sweet and helpful in helping me decide what to get. I got the bulgogi bowl (first time ever having one) and it was one of the best dishes that I’ve ever had. I wish I lived closer to be able to eat there every, single, day. I cannot recommend this place ENOUGH, please give them a shot, you will not be disappointed.“

“When we first entered the owner greeted us warmly. The cook was very polite as well. We ordered the fried soy and Korean sweet spice wings. They were very delicious and cooked crispy. We didn’t even have to say : “crispy please “. They really know what they are doing! We also ordered the beef bowl which was also flavorful and delicious. And to top it off, the owner gave us a couple of complimentary items as well! This was the first stop that my family of four made during our road trip from San Diego to San Francisco and we will definitely be stopping back on our trip back home in a few days.“

“Town Hof & Thanks Chicken in Koreatown, Los Angeles is a fun and casual Korean fried chicken spot that’s great for dinner, drinks, and late‑night bites, known for its crispy, flavorful fried chicken with sauces like habanero‑garlic, sweet spicy, and soy garlic that many diners rave about. The menu also offers interesting pairings like rosé mala tteokbokki and other Korean pub‑style dishes, and people often enjoy the laid‑back atmosphere with beer, soju, plenty of seating, and TVs for game nights. While it gets crowded on weekends and service can be a bit slow at peak times, the friendly staff, generous portions, and good parking in the plaza make it a solid pick for satisfying Korean fried chicken and drinks with friends.“

Customers often praise the rich broth, generous portions, and friendly service in a relaxed, no‑frills setting that’s perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner any day of the week. While it’s a simple spot, the hearty soups and classic Korean comfort food make it a go‑to choice for warming up on a chilly day or satisfying cravings for traditional flavors in Koreatown.“

“Definitely one of the best sushi items in LA. It's sushi made from live fish. Like depending on the fish, sometimes the fillet moves/squirms on the dish. Located in a place I would not expect high quality sushi. Can't judge sushi based on its cover.“

“Absolutely phenomenal duck KBBQ. Never had duck for KBBQ and it was decadent. All of the ducks cooks and smothered in duck fat and in the garlic. At the end they made fried rice with banchan and duck fat. It was heavenly. It was perfect for a large group of 10 with their semi-private dining in the back. A must try.“

“This place is like a Korean convenience store but upgraded and it's right by UCLA. Fresh kimbap, banchan, warm meals, snacks, drinks, ice cream, frozen meal kits and so much more.
What I tried:
- Tteokbokki
- Sweet Chili chicken
- Beef kimbap
- Bong Bong (Korean grape drink with real grape pieces inside)
Total came out $30.86
The price-to-quality ratio is seriously 👌 Affordable, and you can just taste the effort they put into the food. Authentic flavors but elevated quality. The kimbap is so fresh! Thinly sliced ingredients, generous filling, light on the rice. perfect bite every time.
Staff was super friendly, the storefront is clean and easy to spot, and there's public parking available. Already eyeing the egg-only kimbap for next time!“

“AMAZING matcha and customer service. I just ordered a matcha and the workers offered me a bit of dried apple so I wouldn’t feel sick from drinking the matcha on an empty stomach. It’s rare for establishments to have that kind of care for their customers. 🥹🥹🥹 strawberry matcha was also very, delicious. 10/10 would recommend.“

“A small place tucked away in a plaza. The restaurant was quiet with regulars that chatted with the staff. I got dumpling soup. I chose the combo option for kimchi and beef dumplings. We also got sujebi with sweet pumpkin dough flakes. The dumpling soup was very flavorful and had many toppings, including egg, seaweed shreds, and green onion. The amount was quite good for its price. The sujebi was very rich and starchy. The banchan was good as well.“

“The food was so comforting and yummy! Their bossam was soft and the samgaetang was so good with rich broth. I thought it was cool when they torched the bossam and gave it that smoky taste. the side dishes were exactly the ones from authentic Korean restaurants. The interior is a bit Korean traditional restaurant themed, and there were a lot of Korean-speaking ppl at the restaurant so you know it’s authentic and good! The lady serving us was so nice and friendly! And yayy free parking lot with plenty of spots 🤩“

“Hidden gem type of spot that reminds you why local food joints still matter. What started as a stop for a chicken burger quickly turned into one of the more memorable comfort food experiences I’ve had in Hollywood.
The balance between a classic burger spot and a full Korean kitchen is executed incredibly well. You can tell this isn’t a place trying to force two concepts together. Everything on the menu feels intentional and well thought out. The chicken was perfectly cooked with great texture and flavor, while the Korean dishes carried that authentic homemade quality that’s hard to fake.
The atmosphere has that hometown neighborhood feel where the staff genuinely make you feel welcomed the second you walk in. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and everyone behind the counter seemed to actually care about the experience they were providing.
Another standout was the drink selection. Plenty of beers on tap along with a solid variety of drinks that pair perfectly with the food whether you’re stopping in casually or hanging out for a while.
What impressed me most was the consistency across the board. A lot of places do one thing well and everything else feels secondary. Here, the food, service, atmosphere, and menu variety all carried equal weight.
If you’re anywhere near Hollywood and want something that feels both elevated and genuinely local, this spot is absolutely worth the visit.“

“While I miss the old school San (Mountain) restaurant’s samgyetang, Buil remains a top choice for a good reason.
Best Korean ginseng chicken soup for recovery. The fruit based kimchi without msg was my reason for rating this spot an extra star making it to five stars on my review. Quality over cost saving when it comes to health is a major win for this spot 👏🏻“

“What a great find! This is a hole in the wall, not a place to come for a romantic meal. BUT, the food was excellent! And the little old lady was an absolute doll. “It is your typical mom and pop's Korean soup joint. The atmosphere is like a cafeteria filled with photos of the past, simple and clean. It has a small menu, but the soup base is amazing. The beef broth has tremendous amount of flavor, clean, rich, the beef and tendons are succulent. The soup is not seasoned (salted) so you can taste the original beef flavor, and you can add the salt as you like it. The simple meal for two is about $50. It was a great find for us.“

“Mountain Noodles offers an extensive variety of Korean dishes, which initially made me skeptical about their focus on noodles. However, I was surprised to find that their menu cleverly builds on a foundation of decent meat broth with slight variations.
I tried their signature dish, the beef noodles, and opted for the mild spicy version, which unexpectedly came with kimchi in the soup. I would recommend going with the regular flavor to fully appreciate the rich flavor of the broth. Kimchi is also served as a standard side dish. The ribs in the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the noodles themselves were delightfully chewy and tasty.
While the service was not particularly friendly or proactive, it didn't significantly detract from the overall quality of the food. Mountain Noodles is a solid choice for anyone craving varolious and well-prepared Korean cuisine.“

“This is one of my favorite authentic Korean restaurants. This NOT an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) restaurant. Those are so common but I've never been a big fan which is why I love this place. The do have the usual dishes like kalbi, bbq chicken, banchan, etc. but they also have a wide range of authentic Korean food for those who like to explore and try different things. The service is great, food is always amazing, and the place is a nice hole in the wall. Most dishes are family style especially for dinner but they also do lunch service. The cost per person varies on whether you go for lunch or dinner and if you decide to order multiple dishes to share/try. Also there's always plenty of parking.“
