“If you are looking for an authentic and homey Korean restaurant in the valley, look no further. The side dishes were classics The highlights being the braised potato and chili cucumber salad.

I ordered the soybean paste stew, not usually my go-to but I think I found a new favorite. Full of veggies, tofu and just enough pork to top off the meal - the stew (된장찌개) tasted better with every deliciously comfortingly salty mouthful.

It was a bonus to be served Korean purple rice as well!

The general energy on a lunch weekday was relaxed but friendly - I felt like I was sitting amongst regulars and I know I'll be joining them with more visits ! 10/10 recommend!“

“Been visiting for 20 years. Taste and flavor are always on point! Friendly service, you won't get unless you get the owner herself. But the food is always so friggin delicious, that I don't care about friendliness. It's not full service anyway, and the food comes out quickly. And, the price is so reasonable - better than reasonable. I could almost never go to any other restaurants in the same plaza because this place is so much more superior.“

“Love Jo&Go Sushi. They saved me when we first moved to LA and while the house was being remodeled.

4 years later... it's still as good as first discovered. It's a neighborhood gem inside the Korean Greenland Mrkt, which btw, is also awesome.

Must try is the salmon bowl, the salmon slices are so tender and buttery... they give you a crazy amount of salmon over the rice and seriously it's enough to have a 2nd meal! One note about the bowl... I'm not a fan of drenching really good cooked rice with sauce, so I always order without the sauce. The rice is not sushi rice which makes it even more delicious... the rice is always perfectly cooked. You get a miso soup and a cute little container of pickled radish (delish). I would love to know where they source the fish... it's like being in Japan, it's so fresh.

“honestly i loved this place. we got the kalbi and it was super tender with that perfect char on the outside. the side dishes kept coming and i couldnt stop eating the kimchi, it was so good. my wife got the galbi jjim and she didnt say a word until her plate was clean. im already thinking about when we can come back next.“

“Why are the reviews so bad? It’s a nice place. Serving is huge. Staff are nice. I like how they don’t mix the vegetables and you get to decide what you want to put in your pho. They give you a big water container so you don’t need to ask over and over. For me all of these work because I don’t eat onions and I am a water drinker. Keep it up!“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

“My go to restaurant in Ktown, arguably the best restaurant in ktown. They only serve 2 dishes and they excel in these two, sul lung tang and suyuk but they are some of the best versions of them. The staff is friendly, decent parking in the back, incredible food, everything you need to have a great time in Ktown! If you need a sul lung tang spot in Ktown, Han Bat is worth all the hype!“

“The best quality Korean BBQ I've ever had! We had the butcher's pride 1 and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. It includes short ribs, finger meat, wagyu, and marinated short ribs. There are also numerous side dishes from kimchi to green onion jeon. You may also ask for rice if you'd like some to go with the marinaded short ribs.

With tax and tips, we ended up paying about $100 per person. Is it on the pricey end? Yes. Is it overpriced? Slightly. Is it a good food experience? It was. Would I come back again? Depends on who I'm with.“

“Absolutely phenomenal duck KBBQ. Never had duck for KBBQ and it was decadent. All of the ducks cooks and smothered in duck fat and in the garlic. At the end they made fried rice with banchan and duck fat. It was heavenly. It was perfect for a large group of 10 with their semi-private dining in the back. A must try.“

“We ordered the Variety combo, lettuce ssam, and the dry aged a-la-carte for our table, and it was a solid lineup of quality beef. Everything hit just right. The banchan was fresh and the pacing was easy, and the staff kept the grill moving without hovering.

The marinated quail eggs are absolutely delicious. You’ll leave smelling like smoke and garlic, but it’s entirely worth it.“

“Good KBBQ near Cape Town with convenient parking.

I have been here a few times now and always with a large group. Their staff does such a good job handling so many people.

The meat is always fresh and I particularly like all of the sides they offer for your barbecue.

They kept the drinks coming too, which was much appreciated when we were there was such a large party.“

“I came to this mom and pop restaurant on a Saturday night with no expectations and boy was I BLOWN AWAY. I absolutely loved it. The couple that own the place were super sweet and helpful in helping me decide what to get. I got the bulgogi bowl (first time ever having one) and it was one of the best dishes that I’ve ever had. “Never really had Korean food or rice cake but then I tried out Halgattoek in Northridge. Food was amazing tried the Grandma Tteokbokki and the Chicken Gangjeong (Korean Soy Garlic) with a side of Gimmari and Rice Ball. Not only was the food amazing but the service was outstanding too. “We have a friends gathering tonight at Jeju restaurants. The fish are very fresh here. It's a Japanese food but Korean style. I don't think they have sushi. Just sashimi. Lots of banchan plates. Again Korean style. My Korean friend is the one that ordered the food. We just here to enjoy. Service is very attentive.
Parking is tough. It's like a strip mall. The do have additional parking behind but also tough to park.“

“Compared to other Sullungtang places around K town, their Sullungtang meat is more gamey and pungent, especially tripe mix soup. But a lot of OGs may prefer it that way for being more true to the traditional taste. It was still enjoyable but it's just that I perfer more clean and distilled taste, e.g. Jin Sullungtang in Cerritos/Cypress or maybe Sulga. Personally this was not for me.

Also summer radish Kkakdugi has a bit of strange flavor too, a bit dish-soapy. That's a thing with summer radish but this one was a bit strong.“

“Best KBBQ ever! They never skimp on banchan - it's full 10 dish traditional banchan versus other gentrified spots that only give 3 or 4, AND it comes with steamed egg! Their prices are very reasonable and best quality of meat of all the places I've tried. The staff is so sweet and everything tastes homemade. My go-to spot!!!“

“This place is like a Korean convenience store but upgraded and it's right by UCLA. Fresh kimbap, banchan, warm meals, snacks, drinks, ice cream, frozen meal kits and so much more.

The price-to-quality ratio is seriously 👌 Affordable, and you can just taste the effort they put into the food. Authentic flavors but elevated quality. The kimbap is so fresh! Thinly sliced ingredients, generous filling, light on the rice. perfect bite every time.

Staff was super friendly, the storefront is clean and easy to spot, and there's public parking available. Already eyeing the egg-only kimbap for next time!“

“Great Korean dinner spot! We ordered Spicy Rice Cake, Small Hot Stone Bibimbap, Bossam Combo, Bulgogi and Spicy Buckwheat Noodles, and every dish was full of authentic flavor.

The spicy rice cake has a rich, balanced sauce. The hot stone bibimbap came sizzling hot with crispy rice at the bottom. Bossam pork was tender, and bulgogi was perfectly marinated and sweet-savory. The cold spicy buckwheat noodles were refreshing, a great match to cut through the richness of the other dishes.

Spicy naengmyun noodles were also perfectly cooked, and had much more fresh vegetables than any other place I’ve eaten. Only draw back is they don’t have enough servers so service can be slow.
