“We stopped here on the way home from LA. The food is cooked to order, so very fresh and hot! There is a little wait but worth it. If I am traveling through that area again and hungry for small restaurants cuisine , I’m stopping there! I have had Korean Bbque before but this informal way with plates, tacos and bowls is genius. I ordered the sirloin bibimbap. I customized it with no rice just salad greens, the shredded veggies, protein and sweet egg. Two sauces came with it on the side. It was delicious! I’ll dream about that meal! My husband ordered the chicken Katsu bowl. He also really enjoyed it. He is no on the veggies ( rice and protein, sauce) and I am always trying to keep it low carb. The chef was willing to customized kindly with no rice. There are tofu options. There are options for many food lifestyles. Delicious and robust with freshness and flavor!“

“My mom wanted Korean food for Mother’s Day so we went here and we absolutely loved everything we ordered! The sides were plentiful and the entree portions were good. My mom especially loved the japchae. I liked the texture of the tteokbokki. Kimchi tasted like how my cousin made it (not store-bought). Beef bulgogi was a big pile of meat! Staff was very friendly and attentive. The stainless steel cups & water pitchers were a nice touch. The place was very clean.“

“AMAZING matcha and customer service. I just ordered a matcha and the workers offered me a bit of dried apple so I wouldn’t feel sick from drinking the matcha on an empty stomach. We walked in really late but they were very hospitable and we were still able to eat in.

We ordered the jjajangmyeon, tangsuyuk, soy garlic wings, and sweet and spicy wings. Everything was delicious. You can’t go wrong.
They gave us some jjambong (soup only) as well. That was also delicious. We seriously ate it all.“

“Food: this is a sports bar/dive that serves great Korean food. I recommend trying the chicken wings or kimchi pork fried rice.

Parking: the restaurant has ample parking since it’s in a large shopping area, anchored by CVS.

Tips: they offer a good variety of draft beers. They have pork hock, which goes great with beer when watching a game.“

“The best Korean stews in the entire Valley. I know there's musse and few other places sell similar foods, but as a Korean who knows all the best places for this kind of food, the traditional soups are the best here in this area.

If you want to have a decent experience with sulungtang (beef bone stew), yukgaejang (spicy beef stew with noodles), samgyetang (chicken with herbs and ginseng), hangover stew, without going to specialty places in koreatown this is your best bet.“

“Ugh, the best KBBQ in the valley. I’ve been to all the local eateries and nothing compares like Shik Do Rak.
I usually get the brisket, ribeye, and bulgogi combination and it’s more than enough.
Their staff is very attentive and is friendly!

It’s not all you can eat but, honestly the quality of food, side dishes and hospitality out eats all you can eat any day of the week.

“Our families have been customers at this Chinese restaurant since Van Nuys location over 30 years.
Their dishes have the best taste consistently that cooked by the chef/owner. My favorites are Champong, Black bean sauce noodle, Sweet and sour pork, and others.“

“If I could give more than five stars, I would! This was hands down the best Korean BBQ I’ve ever had. The quality of the food was incredible, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing staff.

Our server, Andrew, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to share the experience with us. He taught us some of his favorite grilling and eating techniques, along with little tips that made us feel so much more connected to the culture rather than just dining at a restaurant. “I love Korean beef tofu soup and I didn’t know it’s available here at SCV. We had a pleasant dining experience here at Lee’s Korean BBQ & Tofu House. Our favorites were the spicy pork and tteokbokki. The staff (I’m assuming she’s the daughter of the owner since the place looks like family-owned and run) was kind enough to adjust the spice level to accommodate my 9-year old daughter’s spice tolerance.

I recommend getting the combo (meat + half tofu soup). My eldest daughter liked her non-spicy dumpling tofu soup. The banchan could be better though.

The space and dining area is small and quite tight, but the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

“Had a reservation for a table of 18, the managers accommodated us very well. And our two waiters were awesome! They were attentive, fast and always had a good attitude. The food speaks for itself!! Very tasty. We definitely got our butts kicked and walked out with a food coma. Great birthday dinner for my mom. Definitely recommend for a groups or even a couple.“
