“I enjoyed the karaage as an appetizer. It was fried well and the dipping sauce was tasty.

My wife ordered the tonkatsu ramen and I ordered jjamppong. Both dishes were good, even on a hot summer day.

I’d be open to coming back and trying more dishes.“

The tacos were pretty good; I liked the beef the best. The bulgogi fries were delicious. Not too salty, and the portions are perfect.

My only issue was it was a little cold, and I had picked up in 20-30 minutes after ordering.“

“I had tacos to try various meats. Carnitas, pastor, lengua and buche. They were all very good. But I can't wait to try their carnitas burrito. Everyone one was friendly and welcoming. (Danny, Francisco and Desiree). I also went back to get asada quesadillas for my wife and son. And a carnitas taco and a side of rice. My wife and son loved them!“

Across the street is also a Thai place with the word VEGAN in big letters in their signage. This place feels like it’s from the 1990s. Nice staff. The only annoying thing is it’s so far away. “Hole in the wall teriyaki place. You order at the counter, you pick up your food, you clean up your own table after eating. Easy free parking lot or street parking. They have a lunch special for $11.95 that includes chicken and rice with salad. They also have specials A, B, C and D that are around the $15 to $20 price range. I had the special C that had white rice, a big piece of chicken katsu, two pieces of chicken teriyaki, salad, two small onion rings and two dumplings for about $15.95. Not a bad value. You get a teriyaki sauce and hot sauce on the side. Their teriyaki sauce is very good here! The serving is very generous. I was not about to finish it in one sitting.“

“We used to have a Paik Noodle’s in our area, and it sadly closed 😭😭. Excited to find one within driving distance. Very clean, good service, and the food was delicious!

We walked in really late but they were very hospitable and we were still able to eat in.

We ordered the jjajangmyeon, tangsuyuk, soy garlic wings, and sweet and spicy wings. Everything was delicious. You can’t go wrong.
They gave us some jjambong (soup only) as well. That was also delicious. We seriously ate it all.“

“The waitress named Prince was pretty and nice. It made me want to go back again. I felt comfortable asking what I needed because she was accommodating. The food was delicious and the cook was the one who brought the food on the table. Classy restaurant. We ate there today July 23 at lunch. I commend your waitress. It made a difference to have been served by a hospitable staff. I know because I worked in the hotel industry for 20 years!“

“This is without a doubt the best Thai restaurant in the area. They have been around for a while and have always been consistent and dependable in quality and value. The food is fresh and the taste is extremely authentic and traditional. Having spent most of our lives in Asia, the food here reminds of our time in South East Asia.“

“Loved the pan fried chicken bao. The stuffing was delicious and the dough was filling but not heavy or too oily. Definitely would go back to try more of their bao and dumplings. The noodles were alright maybe I got them on an off day. They felt a bit overcooked and mushy but the flavor was nice for the stir fry shrimp garlic noodle.“

“Good ramen place tucked away in a plaza with ample parking. Their ramen is pretty good but costly as the base price doesn't include your main protein and additional toppings that are typically standard in most ramen places. It doesn't come with a lot of broth and it's $7 to refill. It wasn't crowded and almost empty when we went there for dinner, but felt rushed to leave.“

The Granada Hills restaurant staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy customers. “Our families have been customers at this Chinese restaurant since Van Nuys location over 30 years.
Their dishes have the best taste consistently that cooked by the chef/owner. My favorites are Champong, Black bean sauce noodle, Sweet and sour pork, and others.“

“My husband was craving Teppanyaki so we came to Yamato on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded but since we really just wanted the food and didn’t necessarily want to see the “show” we were seated pretty quickly at a nice spacious booth. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We got the hibachi steak and shrimp and the hibachi steak and scallops which were both delicious. The fried rice was extremely flavorful and the portions are generous. The side of veggies was absolutely amazing. The price point is also very good. Some teppanyaki restaurants are extremely overpriced and Yamato is priced fairly especially for how much food you get. The atmosphere is fun and lively and perfect for celebrating birthdays, graduations, etc.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere. High noise level for babies but very fun and lively for littles.“
