“I’ve tried a lot of Chinese Restaurants and am always disappointed but this one is a winner!!! We were truly missing a great Chinese Restaurant in Santa Clarita and now I can say D&D is my favorite. I had the Beef in Oyster Sauce, Kung Pao Chicken, Shrimp with Garlic Sauce, the combo noodles, and the combo Fried Rice. All delicious!!!! The people are also nice as well and the environment is all new and posh. Next time I’ll dine in instead of ordering to go so I can get the full experience! A+”
“This Italian restaurant makes me yearn for my hometown in central NY! Authentic feeling with a very full menu to choose from. We ate in the bar area on a very busy Saturday evening. My husband had a beautiful plate of linguine and clams, the flavor was distinct and excellent. I had the lobster half-moon ravioli in a really nice tomato cream sauce. The spinach salad was also quite good. Special mention of the warm bread with traditional olive oil & balsamic available for dipping. All the food was served at the right temperature, service was truly excellent, from the valet, to the hostess to the bartenders and servers. For dessert, we brought home Tiramisu and we both agreed it was the best we have ever had! We look forward to returning for another wonderful dinner...soon! “Bomb ? af.... Most boba nowadays isn't with the price. You don't get many bubbles & the cups are short. Teaspoon is just the opposite! HUGE CUPS with perfectly squishy boba in it! I got theist traditional black tea boba with a shot of nitro cold brew. It's truly one of the best boba drinks I've ever had in life, and that's saying a whole lot! Very clean atmosphere as well with beautiful decor & nice staff. I highly recommend!”

“Had a cracking time at Rose & Crown this weekend. Perfect little local pub with a cozy atmosphere. Snagged a seat at the bar, which got a bit busy at times since there's no dedicated bartender, but the staff did a great job keeping everyone served.More importantly, the drinks were spot on! Enjoyed smooth pours of Guinness, a refreshing ale, and a perfectly balanced Black Velvet (kudos to whoever mixed that!). Topped it all off with some delicious fish and chips – a classic done right.Our local friendly pub with a good selection of beers and tasty pub fare!”

Whether you want the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo or the Gluten Free Pesto Pasta you can never go wrong with this place. Pizza is good too but I prefer the Alfredo personally. Great to take the family too as everyone will always find something for them. Service is top notch too. Have never been treated horribly by a staff member so that is good.”

The review ratings definitely reflect the quality of this place. The food is sooo good my boyfriend finished his whole plate. He got the scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns & white toast. He said the bacon was super good ✨ I got pancakes ? super good as well!The service was pretty fast for a Sunday rush morning. While waiting for your food you get a small bowl of mixed fruit while you wait. It was delicious & different. I never went to a cafe that’s done that before. Service was super nice and friendly.As for the atmosphere it seems like most of their customers are regulars as they were all saying by to Lily herself. It was just overall a friendly environment. My order is a regular iced rose peach green tea with honey instead of sugar, no boba or milk ($4). Simplistic esthetic, spaced out seating, chill music playing, polite staff and clean gender neutral bathroom. Definitely would recommend over the busy chain coffee place across the street.”

“Everything about Newhall Press Room was just about up to my expectations for it, based on its location, philosophy (per web sites descriptions), and reviews from other trusted Yelpers. So, all in all, this was a good experience for a Sunday brunch on a popular holiday. The menu was good enough for a vegetarian. The fact that you can get breakfast/lunch/dinner at any time on Sundays was a nice extra. The California Benedict appealed to me and I was able to have the bacon kept out. Our server, Jennifer, was very friendly, efficient, and professional. We got a perfect table for me, right next to the large windows (clean) on Main Street and below the large screen tv. We lucked out and got a parking space right in front -- yay, that's rare. The food was good, the portions were modest but enough so we could take some home. Jennifer and the kitchen gifted us with two small delicious sugared cinnamon muffins -- wasn't that nice? Main Street is festive now on weekends with all the shops and gastropubs that have opened and are seemingly thriving through all the challenges they face these days and the fact that Old Town Newhall is a bit off the beaten path. That lends itself to feeling like we had an outing even though it was a relatively casual midday meal. The beer menu is good and I was able to get Dark Star Oatmeal stout, as I do like an occasional 4oz of beer (it came in a frosty 16 oz glass), and it always has to be the darkest beer available. I don't like any other kind and am not a drinker. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other gastropubs in LA county, so, bottom line, this is a good place to try. Now, one thing I have to point out is the unexpected missing character, for lack of a better term, that the interior has and thus the rather bland atmosphere inside. This, despite a great tin ceiling (see pictures), the walls of bottles, and the black wood tables and chairs, all upscale touches. Somehow the walls look empty even with a couple of unremarkable art pieces. For example, NPR has apparently won some prestigious and valued awards, but they are placed on a relatively inconspicuous wall, lost on the stretch of whiteness of that spot and thus almost forgotten or trivialized. I meant to take a closeup of them and forgot -- proving my point. The entire indoor space needs something extra to add a bit of excitement. Also, my Benedict eggs were almost cold when they came. This is probably because after they were cooked, cold avocado and tomato were place on them and chilled them down. However, that was almost made up for by being on biscuits -- love that idea -- even though these were a bit dry and not likely made same day. There is a good size patio for outdoor dining and a good wine and spirits menu. They definitely honored St. Patrick's Day. I wish I could be more superlative; it wouldn't take much to notch it up to great. I want to try it again soon.”

“Had a last minute hankering for pizza while visiting my Mom in SCV. It was getting late, many local places were getting ready to close for the evening. After reading reviews on Yelp, decided to give Ameci a try and we have no regrets! I was greeted at the counter by a friendly young man who had his hands full. They were hosting a fundraiser event for a local elementary school, and the place was packed! But when I walked up, he couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. I told him about our preferences for crust styles and toppings, and he made the perfect call! We ordered a deluxe combo, with all of the pepperoni on only 1/2 of the pie (Mom doesn't like pepperoni.. sacrilege, right?) As busy as they were, they prepped the pizza, cooked until the crust was a lovely golden brown with a light chew. The sauce to topping ratio was perfect and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes. A manager was chatting with me while I waited and couldn't be more hospitable. You can dine in on one of the few little metal tables and chairs, but I'll most likely order take-out from Ameci's. No big dining room, very casual inside. I'll definitely be returning!”

“So last time I came here I'm 2020 I did not have a good experience , I came back today 3/21/2024 and let me tell you complete turn around ! We arrived at 7:50 pm , we were greeted by the kindest man , and sat almost immediately , our waiter ( the sweetest , tall , gentleman with a shaved head - im so sorry I can't remember his name) he asked us if we had been there before , which we have , and he said perfect you know the big portion deal! He reccomened two delicious drinks which we ordered the Roman tiki and a sparkling sangria both amazing, great alcohol content and taste ! We than proceeded to order the brusccetta which was huge and SO GOOD , the chicken stuffed with procuito and cheese with a pesto sauce also amazing, and the frute di mare pasta which really exceeded my expectations because usually my favorite pasta is the San Remo pasta. Of course for two people the price seems crazy but people need to realise that if portioned correctly even though the small sizes say feeds 3 people it could easily feed 4/5 especially when sharing multiple plates. The ambiance is also amazing there's almost no where else like it the decor is so cute , the lighting is a perfect tone , and what people need to realise that the art isn't vulgar , its historic. Just absolutely a great vibe , great staff, and I know the chefs and cooks are also on point because as a chef myself the food was amazing . Highly reccomend for date night , family dinner, or dinner with friends !”

My attitude completely changed when I opened up the bag of food at my house.. Holy shit. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the catfish, Mac and cheese and bbq baked beans. This food was . Like stupid good. Like so good I'm definitely going back and definitely waiting an hour if I have to (I'll place the order on the app next time in advance.) The catfish was super delicate and perfectly seasoned it was perfect... probably the best I ever had. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were the best I've ordered from anywhere in a long time. The cornbread was fire. The meal was so good my wife and I are low key planning a picnic somewhere soon, JUST so we can order the bucket of chicken that they offer so we can try that. My current message to the owner is: Your food is insanely good. 11/10 exceptional. It's still not right to make people wait an hour for it, y'all got to get a more efficient system back there because that's just crazy. The entire lobby was sitting in there waiting for there MGF orders for what seemed to be forever.. But the food was worth it and I'll be back. I'll just place my order WAY TF ahead of time. There are only 3 or 4 tables and each seats 2 people max, so this is NOT a good place if you come with more than 1 person and you'll also constantly feel the wind as the convenience store automatic gate keeps opening and closing (i.e. dust will come in). I recommend doing things to go... the subway rewards program is ok, nothing spectacular or worth signing up.”

I've done kiosks from the East coast to the West...Seattle, Vancouver and more. Up there, in Canada, it's commonplace to drive up and be served by bikini-clad baristas (some topless, in fact). It's a gimmick, to be sure. Coffee Kiosk here in Santa Clarita doesn't need that though. Their coffee and espresso-based beverages are on point. Big time. My hot latte featured an obvious richly roasted bean and some foamy, frothy, luscious steamed milk. It was lovingly made. I took a chance; instead of driving through (the intended method) I parked and walked up (I needed to stretch my legs after the long drive from Inglewood) and, like it was scripted, a lovely bright-eyed gal (fully clothed) with a huge smile (it was 6:30AM on a Sunday) greeted me and happily took my order. Coffee Kiosk, I'm a believer.”

Super friendly and made us feel like regulars. Smiles and has conversations like you know her. Her attention to clients is 100%. I've worked in small bars for years so I know how they can sometimes be. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and really clean. I didn't play pool but they have a table. My only complaint is if you don't know the area Google maps does a horrible job of telling you where it is. For such a small area I didn't feel crowded. Will totally go again if I'm in the area. I appreciate that they are so accommodating when you call to place an order and they'll wrap the cake if you're traveling further distances. I'm obsessed with their cream cheese frosting and all the cane flavors are most and delicious! Not overly sweet and sugary at all. I love calling to place an order and picking it up the same day! The larger cakes are fantastic for groups, the little bundtlettes are the cutest size and portion for one! I love their lemon raspberry flavor, chocolate, and red velvet! I know they have chocolate chip gluten free available and I hope more gluten free flavors coming!!! Great service, well priced, scrumptious product! Can't rave about this place enough. “Stopped by with a friend for a quick beer today at Brewery Draconum. It was rainy and cold, perfect to sit at the bar to keep dry with a nice people and cozy atmosphere. My review is on the shorter side as we just came for a beer. Unfortunately we had stuffed ourselves silly with food at an event and sadly had no room to order any food here. I will say even though we didn't get any bites almost every table had food and it all looked super good. We saw wings, sandwiches, and fried bar bites going out. Definitely hope to come back to try something next time. We cozied up to the bar and enjoyed that on a rainy Saturday afternoon we had the bar top all to ourselves. Love the wood and that they have glass panels behind the bar so that you can actually see the brewery and cylinders behind. Draconum has a pretty good selection of their own crafted beers. We both opted for the cerveza dragon (Mexican lager) which was delicious. Super mild and refreshing but had good flavor. They advertised this as one of their new beers on tap. The bar decor is definitely cool with the dragon theme and some nice beer steins off to one side of the bar. I like the dragon and semi medieval theme. Cute merch, clothing, stickers, and hats. Kind of regret not buying something, maybe next time. The restaurant was clean and they have ample amount of bathroom stalls here (that's important lol). Looks like they have a cute outdoor back patio too but was rainy so maybe can check it out next time. Staff were very friendly here. Very good vibes and for not being locals we definitely felt welcomed. All in all this is a cool brewery on this side of town and I would love to come back for some more samplings of their beers and their food.”

They have so many flavors you can add to your coffee to create your own specialty drink or you can order off their specialty coffee menu. Every single curated menu item created by bodhi always hits and I love when the seasons change because that means new drink items come out and flavor combinations I would never think to try. The service is impeccable and they are always so friendly and caring when I come in. The store is pretty spacious and a great place to get work done or catch up with a friend. Parking lot is also huge but I owe it to the fact that this location is within a plaza. I'm a long time bodhi fan specifically this location because it's just good vibes and good coffee all around. :-) also, I highly recommend an oat milk latte with raspberry syrup and the mocha cold foam on top.”

I found the right street number and all, but it was tricky because the front door is located on another side of street parking. My lucky day today out here in Valencia, CA., because I first located free parking before I found the tea shop. “Everything about Newhall Press Room was just about up to my expectations for it, based on its location, philosophy (per web sites descriptions), and reviews from other trusted Yelpers. So, all in all, this was a good experience for a Sunday brunch on a popular holiday. The menu was good enough for a vegetarian. The fact that you can get breakfast/lunch/dinner at any time on Sundays was a nice extra. The California Benedict appealed to me and I was able to have the bacon kept out. Our server, Jennifer, was very friendly, efficient, and professional. We got a perfect table for me, right next to the large windows (clean) on Main Street and below the large screen tv. We lucked out and got a parking space right in front -- yay, that's rare. The food was good, the portions were modest but enough so we could take some home. Jennifer and the kitchen gifted us with two small delicious sugared cinnamon muffins -- wasn't that nice? Main Street is festive now on weekends with all the shops and gastropubs that have opened and are seemingly thriving through all the challenges they face these days and the fact that Old Town Newhall is a bit off the beaten path. That lends itself to feeling like we had an outing even though it was a relatively casual midday meal. The beer menu is good and I was able to get Dark Star Oatmeal stout, as I do like an occasional 4oz of beer (it came in a frosty 16 oz glass), and it always has to be the darkest beer available. I don't like any other kind and am not a drinker. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other gastropubs in LA county, so, bottom line, this is a good place to try. Now, one thing I have to point out is the unexpected missing character, for lack of a better term, that the interior has and thus the rather bland atmosphere inside. This, despite a great tin ceiling (see pictures), the walls of bottles, and the black wood tables and chairs, all upscale touches. Somehow the walls look empty even with a couple of unremarkable art pieces. For example, NPR has apparently won some prestigious and valued awards, but they are placed on a relatively inconspicuous wall, lost on the stretch of whiteness of that spot and thus almost forgotten or trivialized. I meant to take a closeup of them and forgot -- proving my point. The entire indoor space needs something extra to add a bit of excitement. Also, my Benedict eggs were almost cold when they came. This is probably because after they were cooked, cold avocado and tomato were place on them and chilled them down. However, that was almost made up for by being on biscuits -- love that idea -- even though these were a bit dry and not likely made same day. There is a good size patio for outdoor dining and a good wine and spirits menu. They definitely honored St. Patrick's Day. I wish I could be more superlative; it wouldn't take much to notch it up to great. I want to try it again soon.”

He reccomened two delicious drinks which we ordered the Roman tiki and a sparkling sangria both amazing, great alcohol content and taste ! We than proceeded to order the brusccetta which was huge and SO GOOD , the chicken stuffed with procuito and cheese with a pesto sauce also amazing, and the frute di mare pasta which really exceeded my expectations because usually my favorite pasta is the San Remo pasta. Of course for two people the price seems crazy but people need to realise that if portioned correctly even though the small sizes say feeds 3 people it could easily feed 4/5 especially when sharing multiple plates. The ambiance is also amazing there's almost no where else like it the decor is so cute , the lighting is a perfect tone , and what people need to realise that the art isn't vulgar , its historic. Nice big parking lot and we were lucky to be the only ones in line until it picked up. Took us a bit to figure out what to order, he hasn't been in years and he mentioned how much their menu changed. I love California burritos and was surprised to see it on their menu! They didn't offer shrimp as the protein but I asked and they had to call another worker over to get it set up for me and they were able to do it. We also got some fish taco plates to go. We grabbed some limes and lemons and other salsa from their bar and shortly after, our food was ready. We drove home to enjoy it and even my mom really liked it! Wish we had one closer but this was worth the drive. I loved my California burrito with grilled shrimp. Super flavorful and the fries weren't hard, even reheated! I get food there about every 2 weeks and thank you for having to deal with these self entitled clowns while providing great service and value at a "give it to me now" pace.”

Consistency is one of the hardest things to accomplish in a restaurant. I always order sushi and one of the rolls and I have never been disappointed. The sushi honestly is better than most spots in SCV. The albacore here is my favorite. The rolls are great too. The service has always been attentive and friendly. I sit at the bar and the guys that serve me have always made my experience not only friendly, but accommodating. They put soccer on for me, or a dodger game. I have zero complaints about this place. I've eaten a lot of sushi and I feel like some people think that bigger portions equal better quality, which is absolutely not true. The fish and ingredients are fresh here and that's what I'm paying for. The music is always on point in here too.”

My wife enjoyed her mushroom pizza on their gluten-free crust.I especially enjoyed the Neapolitan Burrata Pizza...a limited-time special which was on par with the pies that we recently had in Naples Italy. (Though cooked a little longer than they do there so you could actually pick up the slices and not have to fork and knife it.Our kid who, wasn't in the mood for pizza, liked the Garlic Cream Fettucini With Mushrooms and it's good to know that, despite the fact that it's got "pizza" in the name, it's a restaurant with a full menu of things to choose from so there are options for everyone of every diet.We also love that they partner with local organizations to help raise funds. “First let me start this off by mentioning how FURIOUS I was when I left the hub yesterday. I ordered my food inside and waited an hour to finally receive it. I was like super mad... I even asked the cashier to let the owner of MGF know how angry and annoyed I was LOL. I was complaining the whole way home that I would never go back. Let me tell you something though.. My attitude completely changed when I opened up the bag of food at my house.. Holy shit. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the catfish, Mac and cheese and bbq baked beans. This food was . Like stupid good. Like so good I'm definitely going back and definitely waiting an hour if I have to (I'll place the order on the app next time in advance.) The catfish was super delicate and perfectly seasoned it was perfect... probably the best I ever had. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were the best I've ordered from anywhere in a long time. The cornbread was fire. The meal was so good my wife and I are low key planning a picnic somewhere soon, JUST so we can order the bucket of chicken that they offer so we can try that. My current message to the owner is: Your food is insanely good. 11/10 exceptional. It's still not right to make people wait an hour for it, y'all got to get a more efficient system back there because that's just crazy. The entire lobby was sitting in there waiting for there MGF orders for what seemed to be forever.. But the food was worth it and I'll be back. I'll just place my order WAY TF ahead of time. My husband had a beautiful plate of linguine and clams, the flavor was distinct and excellent. I had the lobster half-moon ravioli in a really nice tomato cream sauce. The spinach salad was also quite good. Special mention of the warm bread with traditional olive oil & balsamic available for dipping. All the food was served at the right temperature, service was truly excellent, from the valet, to the hostess to the bartenders and servers.
