Finding truly authentic South Indian flavors in SoCal is rare enough—finding them on an all you can eat (ayce) buffet done with this level of perfection is like striking gold, making India Garden an absolute no-brainer.

Tucked away in Santa Clarita, this spot delivers serious, home-style cooking with zero shortcuts.

The food speaks for itself. They serve hands down the best samosas. The pastry skin is blistered and shatter-crisp, stuffed with the exact right ratio of spiced potato and peas. Soft idlis are ready on the line, but they make your dosa fresh to order. It arrives piping hot: crisp along the edges, tender in the center, and paired with a rich, savory sambar. The Indo-Chinese spread holds up just as well; favorites like chicken majestic, pepper chicken, chili baby corn, and gobi manchurian stay crunchy with genuine wok heat instead of soaking in heavy sauce.

The everyday staples show the same level of care. They serve delicious chicken biryani, kaju polaw, and white rice in the buffet.

Garlic naan comes straight from the tandoor blistered and pillowy, the chicken tikka masala has real depth without being overly sweet. The chicken is fork tender and juicy. The daal tastes slow-simmered and comforting.

The toppings were generous and the 3 toppings were a great combination. It was light on sauce, which I prefer. It was a great deal and worth every penny. I also LOVED that they had Strawberry Crush. Haven’t had that in years :)The service was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.

I came in to use the restroom and then decided to order, and he interacted and kindly took my order making me feel like a friend farther than just a customer. I forgot to order dairy-free and he exchanged the cup, AND got me a bigger size for no charge. He interacted, was kind, and super friendly. We then went back through drive through to get a drink and he once again was so kind to give us our drink on the house. “I stopped by this Charley Cheesesteaks inside the Valencia mall at the food court yesterday to get a soda. The other places in the food court had long lines but Charley had no line so I came here.

I asked for a regular size soda with lite ice and the lady working the cashier fulfilled my order to exaxtly how I asked for it. She put light ice on the rice and the price for the regular size cup is reasonable. My soda was delicious and I drank it at the food court. I don't believe they give refill here unless you pay for it.”

The best of both worlds-delicious breakfast sandwiches that we didn’t have to make or clean that tasted like something we’d make at home. (You know. If we knew how to make amazing New York style bagels! Which we do not!) We each got a different breakfast sandwiches and sample each others and they all were amazing. My only regret this morning is that we didn’t try the Maplehouse. Next time! Definitely recommend eating here.”
