“Walked in and was immediately greeted, the food came out pretty quick and was so delicious and flavorful. I got some extra teriyaki sauce and some chili sauce. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the floors looked pretty dirty, but I did show up about an hour before they close. When I was leaving they acknowledged me and said "have a blessed day" ? I guess it's the little things for me.“

“Me and my friends came here because we had heard the noodles were good. I ordered the Beef Yakisoba and it was among the best I’ve ever eaten. My friends all got ramen, and the chicken in one of them was cooked really well. The sushi was also good (got the California and Fried California roll), I feel as though they were the lowest points of the meal. All in all, I’d definitely love to come back again.“

“Food is pretty good, but a few things on the menu didn't measure up to what we hoped for. Overall though, I'd say it's a solid choice to try for anyone venturing out for a new sushi spot. It does take quite a while to get your food though and it is a bit loud and stuffy when it is full. Can be a bit overwhelming if you like a relaxing peaceful meal. The last time we went, they off the order wrong after waiting 30 min. The replacement took another 30 minutes and it ended up coming out in pieces for me to assemble myself. Disappointing. Not sure we will be back, but for a one time thing, it's not too bad.“

“DELICIOUS! I got the black garlic tonkotsu and the broth was incredible. Fried chicken appetizer was cooked perfectly in texture and flavor, and sushi was so good we didn't even dip it in sauce! Editing to add, service was FAST! We will definitely be returning.“

“I was pleasantly supprised by this place. I came in here when i was passing through the area and was feeling a little hungry. While there appeared to be other food options in the area, I decided to give this place a try.I ordered their beef dish with noodles. It was a little pricey and they did charge me a fee for using my card. But when the food finally came, it was really good. Very flavorful and quite a big portion. The meat wasn't all gnarly either, which is always a concern when ordering beef. One thing to keep in mind is that their menu in not that big. They did say that they've been open for about 4 months or so. I hope that this place makes it. There were not a lot of customers in here when I visited. They do seem to be more of a carryout type place though. And I also visited in the morning when it first opened.Overall, this place does have a few minor flaws, but the food is good quality and the portions are pretty large.“

“If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The chicken plate (#1) is so delicious. I’ve also gotten the beef and it so good as well! That yummy yummy sauce really is yummy. Everything is cooked right in front of you and they always ask if you want extra sauce. The staff is so nice, I come here once a week and you probably should too.“

“Good ramen, good pork buns, and I enjoyed the house sake. It seems like a busy place so was glad to get a seat on a Friday night. My only thing is ramen is never as spicy as I want it to be, but that’s on me.Don’t worry about the reviewers out there complaining about the “misleading” menu. Some of y’all never learned how to read, and it shows.“

“Wow. The restaurant, first of all clean and looks like owner care and keep in good shape, restroom is nice and clean. Table has touch screen with menu with fast software and pictures that I can understand what to order. I ordered Ramen and Philadelphia roll with tempura outside. The roll was amazing with creamy Philadelphia, the rise was gentle and fresh-soft. Amazing. Ramen was so delicious, only the mushrooms were a little bit despicable. I paid $33.95. For this price I will give 5+++.“

“I'm always looking for the next best place to go to. Today, I found Sushi story I love sushi and im always trying to discover better places I ordered a couple things to say the least, The food was good servings compared to others were smaller but the atmosphere was great I was greeted by everyone as soon as I stepped in the waited a very nice lady and very attentive I forgot to ask her for her name.
One thing I noticed was people of all kinds coming in and everyone getting along it was like one big happy family here eating together it was something different and nice the prices were fair 1 large Asahi 3/4 dishes 60 something dollars, I think I will be definitely coming back here as I was treated like family in my first time and only few minutes I was in there. Dine in can only hold so many people as it's pretty small but it was not packed when I arrived I think you just have to pick your times to arrive there are restrooms available to customers, for now that's all I have and I leave you with these photos. I recommend trying it at least once.“

“Coming from the Bay Area I was hoping JinCook would be better than your average Bay Area Korean food. True it's not in Koreatown but many reviews highlighted how good it was so I was hopeful. In the end though it was good but not better.
We ordered two dishes:
Mushroom Tofu Stew ?
Bibimbab Hot Stone ?
First I was surprised the banchan came out with the dishes and not before which is typical of most Korean restaurants. It was also below average both in terms of selection and quantity.
The Mushroom Tofu Stew and Bibimbab Hot Stone were good. This restaurant chose to use what appeared to be shiitake mushrooms instead of the lesser known mushrooms I prefer like enoki mushrooms. The Bibimbap Hot Stone looked good but it turned out to be a pretty layer on top of a lot of rice.
We met another family who found the food to be good too though they did not like the Japchae.
Service was casual but friendly. The decor was cute. I liked all the Korean signs showing the prices of Korean dishes in Korea and the posters explaining the histories of different Korean dishes.
The cost was a bit higher than I expected.
When we are in Santa Clarita again we might go back but I think we will drive a little further to find Korean food.“

“Best traditional sushi in SCV. Been coming here for 30 yrs and always have consistently good food. All you can eat is the way to go if you are a big eater. If you like fancy rolls then this is probably not the place for you. Atmosphere is hole in the wall-ish and has not changed in 30 yrs but is perfect. Hidden gem in Newhall.“

“Everyone has that little hole-in-the-wall favorite place that's comfortable.. this is that place for us. The service is consistently good, as well as the food. The restaurant tends to play loud music Friday & Saturday evenings but Sundays evenings are usually quiet. We haven't had anything that wasn't good.“

“We had a group of twelve people celebrating two birthdays at Yamato recently. The manager, Bobby, was very accommodating and provided us with two complimentary birthday packages. I highly recommend Yamato as a dining option. It is comparable to Benihana, if not better. The chef was very entertaining and provided everyone with a delicious meal.“

“This is one of the best sushi spots ever! First off the service is amazing, they are never rude and appreciate any tips. (In a good way ?) I will admit the inside is a bit small but overall it's great. The food is amazing. Me and my family go here at least once a month for a yummy treat. There is also a kid's menu which has chicken, beef, sushi, and bento boxes. Highly recommended, would definitely come back. 5 stars.
Parking: Very open parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: The staff are really nice towards kids.“

“This place was the best sushi restaurant I have been to in a long time. The food was delicious and the wait was little. I got a rainbow roll and a crunchy tempura roll which were so good. If you aren't into that, they had so many more options to choose from. The service was spectacular. Our waiter was so sweet and she made sure we always had our drinks filled. She was super nice, and possibly the best waitress I've seen. The atmosphere was gorgeous. LED lights, a wall with fake leaves when you enter and paintings to really catch the eye. It was so buetiful. In the future I will definitely come back. I would 100% recommend stopping by if you have the chance.“

“Omg they have been around for a while now in Saugus, and I have passed by many times thinking that they won't have anything for vegetarian people since it's a sushi spot. Boy, was I wrong! I was alittle under the weather and wanted Pho, and once I got there I placed my order and noticed the sushi menu. Saw a baked veggie roll, she suggested it was worth the try and you wont be disappointed! I'm so glad I finally tried and found my new favorite spot.

“As you enter you are greeted by an open and spacious space. The sushi bar area is nicely decorated and looks well maintained. The entire restaurant is meticulously clean with everything in its place.
Service is attentive and gracious. I ordered the Chicken Karaage Curry and my mom ordered the Salmon Collar. When our food arrived it looked fantastic. The Chicken Karaage looked really crunchy. I ate a piece off the top and it was extremely crunchy, my expectations were high. I dipped a piece of chicken into the curry sauce, but the sauce seemed bland. As I ate it was clear the chicken was incredible, but the curry sauce was broken. There were multiple signs of separation. Some parts were watery and bland, other parts were thicker with stronger flavor. In the picture separation can be seen around the edges of the sauce. Another issue is the rice was room temperature and the grains were starting to tighten and did not mix well with the curry sauce. The disappointing thing is both issues could have easily been fixed before serving. The curry sauce was an easy fix and the rice just had to be warmed. Small things really do make a big difference. I would give the Chicken Karaage alone a 5 out of 5, but with the curry sauce and rice, I would knock that down to a 3.5 out of 5. If everything was freshly made I'm sure it would have been a 5 out of 5.
This is a Sushi Bar and I didn't even try the sushi, so I can't say much about it. However, the prices are very reasonable and definitely worth a try.
Overall the issues were minor. So, this is a place worthy of a shot.“

“It's one of my favorite places in all of SCV! The staff are all so friendly, and the dining area is always clean! Good drink options, great food options, and amazing prices! Especially if you get the lunch special combo. The option to do split protein type and split rice/ vegetables is so nice to mix up your meal. You can also order any of the proteins over a salad, which is a great opportunity. My go-to is hands down the half chicken and half beef with half white rice and half steamed veggies. They have good gyoza too, and all my friends say the sushi is fantastic. I only wish there were more locations!
Parking: Large parking lot, but busy during lunch and dinner hours“
