“Stopped by Hummus Republic in Valencia after a long day and wasn’t expecting much, but it honestly turned out really good. I got a bowl with chicken, rice, hummus, and a few toppings, and everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. The portions were filling without feeling too heavy.
The staff was also really nice and helped me pick a sauce combination since it was my first time there. Place was clean, service was quick, and the overall vibe was relaxed. Definitely feels like one of those spots you end up coming back to once you try it.“

“20 years ago, I lived in Valencia with my family, and, as a young boy, I always looked forward to eating Jimmy Dean's pastrami sandwiches. Copious amounts of meat, the odd pickle slice scattered throughout the sandwich, and just the right amount of mustard made Jimmy Dean's pastrami sandwich the standard by which I judge all other sandwiches. All these years later, still the best damn sandwich I've ever had, and absolutely worth the detour on my road trip.“

“Go ahead and order from Jasmine Thai Noodle & BBQ. I’ve only eaten in the restaurant once, and if I’m being honest, the ambiance wasn’t the best (the inside of the restaurant could use Robert Irvine or someone to help redecorate), but the food is absolutely worth showing up for or ordering.

Some standouts are the fried egg rolls which are spectacularly crispy, tasty and come with a delightful vinegary dipping sauce. Also, I can’t not order the emerald curry. I should try some of the other curry’s, but this one is just sooo good. The pad Thai and pad see ew are very good, of course, as well as the fried rice dishes we’ve tried. I also love the taste of their tom yum soup, I just wish I didn’t have to spend so much time picking out the little inedible pieces of lemongrass (though I love that lemongrass flavor).

The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is that I usually reserve that rating for Michelin-quality restaurants or food that I am still dreaming about weeks, months or years later. However, we do eat here regularly.“

“We always stop here in the morning before heading to Magic Mountain. Depending on the season, it can get really busy, but we have always had good service. Even when crowded, the staff is friendly and attentive. The restrooms are clean, and we’ve never had any issues with parking. A reliable stop for breakfast before a fun day at the park.“

“My girls and I ate here this morning. We’ve been traveling and wanted something that didn’t taste like we were eating out. This was it! The best of both worlds-delicious breakfast sandwiches that we didn’t have to make or clean that tasted like something we’d make at home. (You know. If we knew how to make amazing New York style bagels! Which we do not!) We each got a different breakfast sandwiches and sample each others and they all were amazing. My only regret this morning is that we didn’t try the Maplehouse. Next time! Definitely recommend eating here.“

“I love Korean beef tofu soup and I didn’t know it’s available here at SCV. We had a pleasant dining experience here at Lee’s Korean BBQ & Tofu House. Our favorites were the spicy pork and tteokbokki. The staff (I’m assuming she’s the daughter of the owner since the place looks like family-owned and run) was kind enough to adjust the spice level to accommodate my 9-year old daughter’s spice tolerance.

I recommend getting the combo (meat + half tofu soup). My eldest daughter liked her non-spicy dumpling tofu soup. The banchan could be better though.

The space and dining area is small and quite tight, but the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

“Kebab House was a total fluke for me today! After getting my haircut, I was looking for a different place, but I stumbled into this food court. Though I thought it was Mediterranean, it is actually Armenian food. I’m so happy I sat down to have a good lunch; it was definitely in the flavor zone! My taste buds were all happy.
​I got the half-chicken, half-meat platter, and with my choice of sides, it was very tasty. I had the cucumber salad, pasta, and white rice as my sides, which came with a roasted tomato and pita bread. Delicious and to the point—just good eating! (The picture does not do the food justice.)“

“Ever since the company switched over to premade sauces instead of freshly made in-house somethings just dont taste the same like they used to. I remember working here years ago and watching the sauce cook make all the sauces, prep the meats. Definitely can taste the difference from freshly made in-house sauces vs premade and shipped sauces from the factory.“
