“Coming from the Bay Area I was hoping JinCook would be better than your average Bay Area Korean food. True it's not in Koreatown but many reviews highlighted how good it was so I was hopeful. In the end though it was good but not better.
We ordered two dishes:
Mushroom Tofu Stew ?
Bibimbab Hot Stone ?
First I was surprised the banchan came out with the dishes and not before which is typical of most Korean restaurants. It was also below average both in terms of selection and quantity.
The Mushroom Tofu Stew and Bibimbab Hot Stone were good. This restaurant chose to use what appeared to be shiitake mushrooms instead of the lesser known mushrooms I prefer like enoki mushrooms. The Bibimbap Hot Stone looked good but it turned out to be a pretty layer on top of a lot of rice.
We met another family who found the food to be good too though they did not like the Japchae.
Service was casual but friendly. The decor was cute. I liked all the Korean signs showing the prices of Korean dishes in Korea and the posters explaining the histories of different Korean dishes.
The cost was a bit higher than I expected.
When we are in Santa Clarita again we might go back but I think we will drive a little further to find Korean food.“

“Everyone has that little hole-in-the-wall favorite place that's comfortable.. this is that place for us. The service is consistently good, as well as the food. The restaurant tends to play loud music Friday & Saturday evenings but Sundays evenings are usually quiet. We haven't had anything that wasn't good.“

“Amazingly fast service (our rolls came out mere minutes after ordering), great selection of interesting rolls, 10 pieces per roll, AND no-rice rolls (so you don't fill up as quickly). This place was excellent and I highly recommend it :)“

“This is one of the best sushi spots ever! First off the service is amazing, they are never rude and appreciate any tips. (In a good way ?) I will admit the inside is a bit small but overall it's great. The food is amazing. Me and my family go here at least once a month for a yummy treat. There is also a kid's menu which has chicken, beef, sushi, and bento boxes. Highly recommended, would definitely come back. 5 stars.
Parking: Very open parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: The staff are really nice towards kids.“

“This place was the best sushi restaurant I have been to in a long time. The food was delicious and the wait was little. I got a rainbow roll and a crunchy tempura roll which were so good. If you aren't into that, they had so many more options to choose from. The service was spectacular. Our waiter was so sweet and she made sure we always had our drinks filled. She was super nice, and possibly the best waitress I've seen. The atmosphere was gorgeous. LED lights, a wall with fake leaves when you enter and paintings to really catch the eye. It was so buetiful. In the future I will definitely come back. I would 100% recommend stopping by if you have the chance.“

“Came here before the dinner rush for their All You Can Eat, one of the last places left offering this.
I ordered salmon, yellowtail, albacore, scallop, squid, mussels, amongst other things.
Coming at this time was perfect, the service was quick and efficient. The fish tasted great, fresh. My highlights were scallops and the salmon, had quite the delicious experience.
The dinner AYCE sushi did cost $44, but I ate my money's worth and more. And once again, one of the last few places that offers AYCE.“
