“1/14/2026 - Ananto Sushi in Stevenson Ranch was open one year ago and is a hidden gem in a neighborhood of Los Angeles.
You will be impressed with its daily Omakase offering with fresh raw dishes, in addition to a great presentation - see the uploaded short videos for your reference.
The owner is also chef, who worked for an upscale Japanese Omacase restaurant in Beverly Hills for many years before opening his own upscale Sushi restaurant one year ago.
There are ample big parking lot in front of the restaurant for free!“

“My husband was craving Teppanyaki so we came to Yamato on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded but since we really just wanted the food and didn’t necessarily want to see the “show” we were seated pretty quickly at a nice spacious booth. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We got the hibachi steak and shrimp and the hibachi steak and scallops which were both delicious. The fried rice was extremely flavorful and the portions are generous. The side of veggies was absolutely amazing. The price point is also very good. Some teppanyaki restaurants are extremely overpriced and Yamato is priced fairly especially for how much food you get. The atmosphere is fun and lively and perfect for celebrating birthdays, graduations, etc.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere. High noise level for babies but very fun and lively for littles.“

“I can confidently say this is the best sushi experience I’ve had. The fish is exceptionally fresh, and every dish is crafted with precision and care—you can truly taste the quality in every bite.
What really sets this restaurant apart is the environment. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and feels like you’re part of a family the moment you walk in. The staff are incredibly attentive, making sure every detail of your dining experience is perfect without ever feeling overwhelming.
I also really appreciated that the team speaks English, Japanese, and Spanish, which makes the experience even more inclusive and comfortable for a wide range of guests.
Overall, this place delivers on every level—food, service, and ambiance. Easily a 10/10 experience and a well-deserved 5/5 stars. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“We been to many different sushi’s in CA & in Mexico & hands down Love sushi is our favorite sushi of all times and if we had to pinpoint it, we would say that is their sauces and flavors. They have a special Spicy Mayo recipe that they should honestly Brand and sale on every store 🤤
They dishes are very flavorful 🤌 and they we’re going downhill after covid but the original owner came back and food tastes even better now! He made some “Off Menu specials for us” so delicious! 🧡“

“Tried this spot for a quick sushi fix—overall it was just okay. It gets the job done if you’re in a hurry, but it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way for. The sushi felt closer to room temperature than fresh and chilled, which took away from the experience.
That said, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. Nothing terrible, just not very memorable. Good for convenience, but not a standout sushi spot.“

“Incredible food, great service in a very nice atmosphere. Unassuming, but well crafted with care right in front of you. Very small restaurant with only 7 seats, and reservations are required since he is booked months in advance. Already have my next reservation on the books!“

“That it is a GREAT sushi restaurant that everyone needs to try!!! Here is my review on it: SATURDAY FOOD REVIEW..SAKE2ME SUSHI (again)...1/11/25! After a day at SeaWorld in San Diego, we stopped on our way home to have dinner at Sake2Me Sushi, located at 3885 Cochran St., in Simi Valley. They start you off with an appetizer, crab on a fried tortilla, with eel sauce, spicy sauce, and Japanese sauce, and WOW, it was SOOO GOOD!!! We both had their Dinner Combo, with miso soup, salad, rice, and an orange slice, and our choice of sushi, and we both chose the Shrimp Crunch Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. Every single thing was VERY fresh tasting and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! This restaurant has TOP NOTCH FOOD, and one that needs to be on your 'must do list'!!!! I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to all sushi lovers...you will NOT be disappointed, it's THAT GOOD!!!!“

“If you have an avocado allergy, Tokyo Sushi is a tough spot. 46 of their 50 rolls include avocado!
But that's my problem, not theirs. We went for the chef's choice sushi sampler and the bulgogi plate. While the cuts on the sushi weren't super precise, and our entrees came out 10 minutes apart (I feel like that's not uncommon when ordering sushi and hot food), and our tea pot was kind of rusty... It's still probably one of the better sushi spots in Simi Valley. I haven't tried them all, but I've tried quite a few.
The building helps; it's this low-ceiling, square room decked out with wood, surrounding a large sushi bar. And the servers were all very friendly. Clearly there are a lot of regulars here.
Tokyo Sushi is not perfect, but it's very good, and I'll definitely keep it in mind when I want sushi!“

“As you enter you are greeted by an open and spacious space. The sushi bar area is nicely decorated and looks well maintained. The entire restaurant is meticulously clean with everything in its place.
Service is attentive and gracious. I ordered the Chicken Karaage Curry and my mom ordered the Salmon Collar. When our food arrived it looked fantastic. The Chicken Karaage looked really crunchy. I ate a piece off the top and it was extremely crunchy, my expectations were high. I dipped a piece of chicken into the curry sauce, but the sauce seemed bland. As I ate it was clear the chicken was incredible, but the curry sauce was broken. There were multiple signs of separation. Some parts were watery and bland, other parts were thicker with stronger flavor. In the picture separation can be seen around the edges of the sauce. Another issue is the rice was room temperature and the grains were starting to tighten and did not mix well with the curry sauce. The disappointing thing is both issues could have easily been fixed before serving. The curry sauce was an easy fix and the rice just had to be warmed. Small things really do make a big difference. I would give the Chicken Karaage alone a 5 out of 5, but with the curry sauce and rice, I would knock that down to a 3.5 out of 5. If everything was freshly made I'm sure it would have been a 5 out of 5.
This is a Sushi Bar and I didn't even try the sushi, so I can't say much about it. However, the prices are very reasonable and definitely worth a try.
Overall the issues were minor. So, this is a place worthy of a shot.“

“Absolutely delicious! You should definitely stop by if you're in the area. The food was impeccable. I ordered the Tonkotsu Black Garlic Ramen and it was packed with flavor. The pork had a good ratio of meat to fat an awesome taste, the noddle were cooked to perfection for good texture, the broth was exploding with flavor. I also ordered the fresh water eel, yellowtail, and the salmon. All very fresh.
The prices were very affordable too. Give this spot a try.“

“The owners are wonderful. I was having lunch the other day and was half-way through my meal when I received an emergency phone call from my daughter's school, which is very close to the restaurant, that she had had a seizure and that I had to go there immediately. I told the chef that I had an emergency and asked if I could quickly pay so I could leave. They just said Go! No problem! We'll see you next time! and wouldn't let me pay. I will be going back to Baby Tuna as often as I can! The food is great, and the owners are truly good people. Love this place.“

“This is a hidden gem in the valley. From the outside I did not expect the interior to look so nice and Japanese style.
The sushi omakase was so tasty with different cuts of fish like toro, salmon belly and more. Each one had garnishes like chili oil, yuzu, fresh wasabi, etc. The presentation is stunning. The other items we ordered were also so fresh and tasty like the Toro toast, negitoro mini bowl, and shishito peppers.
Fresh and delicious food here !“
