I'm never really on this side of town but I had to pick up some medicine from Kaiser, and was craving some sushi. First impression of this spot wasn't exactly the best. I stood around waiting to be seated for about 10 minutes before I was acknowledged by someone. Once I was sitting it was smooth from there. Today, I (an SCV local) entered this establishment for the first time with a new friend of mine. I felt like I was in a little bubble, able to escape from the world outside even for a bit, in this space with the nicely intimate ambiance they have here. Wow. The restaurant, first of all clean and looks like owner care and keep in good shape, restroom is nice and clean. Table has touch screen with menu with fast software and pictures that I can understand what to order. I ordered Ramen and Philadelphia roll with tempura outside.
