My wife and I visited Valley Kabob located in The Hub on Cinema Drive tonight. I enjoyed the ground Beef Koobideh Kebob served over rice with hummus and pita bread. The Shiraz salad was a nice change of pace. Very refreshing. Wife had the Salad Olvieh Wrap , so generous in size that she shared with me. Quite delicious. I'm going to give them four stars because the food itself was good relative to all the chain restaurants out here in Santa Clarita Valley. But I want to mention that most of these kebabs don't have a lot of flavor and are not the traditional Persian kababs you would get in Los Angeles proper. If that's what you're in the mood for you probably need to Drive to Granada Hills or a little further into the valley. The split stew was delicious and tasted pretty authentic. First time ordering at the Hub, was greeted with a sweet, enthusiastic young lady who offered to help me since I'd never been before. The ordering process was easy and I waited about 20 min. I ordered the chicken barq plate and it was delicious. Chicken was flavorful, tender and juicy. Rice was also excellent! Definitely will be back, thank you!
