“Updated: I've been to this spot for years and it's still excellent. The base price is $32.99 but if you go at non-peak times you can save money. I still think you can get a great deal at that price point. Efficient service and great food as always.

WONDERFUL! This was my first all you can eat Korean BBQ experience. We came at 7pm and was ahead of the Saturday rush crowd, so we were seated right away. They have two price points with $22pp for the regular menu, which we opted for, because it had over 20 options on it! They bring you 3 selections at a time, and after you order more, the selection portions are halved so you don't waste food. Every single piece of meat was delicious, but the Beef Bulgogi and the Brisket were my favorites. The shrimp were a little hard to eat because they were on the small side and hard to pull the shell off. They also have 2 stations with hot items (appetizers, glass noodles/vegetables, mushroom/broccoli, wings, soup) and cold items (salad, onion/mushrooms for cooking, lettuce wraps, fruit).

The service was good, but they were incredibly busy in taking care of everyone. They were a good team and looked out if we needed a new grill plate, or if were ready to put in more orders.

I will definitely be back - what a great spot to bring out of towners.“

There was a good amount of glaze on each piece and the batter was still nice and crunchy even though we had it 30 minutes after picking it up from the store. Best part is it’s mess free and easy to eat because it’s boneless.“

4 stars for food and service. Food: they often serve meats that shouldn’t be served. In the few times I’ve come to All that Shabu, twice (in different visits) we were given meat that was red and blood-like. It wasn’t pleasant. And the other time, one of the meat options was all fat and had a speck of meat. I’m not sure, do they not check the meat slices before sending the out? I feel like the staff should check the quality beforehand.“

“Amazing food. Plate licking sauces, organic,locally sourced food. Korean fusion. Did I mention organic pickled everything. Enzyme rich food. Beyond healthy. Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. A must go to for anyone who loves food and especially loves fusion with organic and very well priced. He should charge Much more but they don’t.“

“My favorite Korean barbecue in Los Angeles. All the side dishes are fantastic and there is so much variety you can tell they really thought it through! The meat quality is also fantastic. Their marinated galbi is my favorite beef in the world. If all of that is not enough, it is also the only Korean barbecue place that cares enough about the customers that they have a ventilated stove so you don’t smell like Korean barbecue walking out of this restaurant it’s amazing.“

“Fantastic experience. Chef Ki is an artist. It's difficult to find a dining experience that can zhuzh up humble Korean ingredients and not absolutely butcher them, but Chef Ki does exactly that. The main ingredient shines and every bite is stunning. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, the dishes speak for themselves, and the pairing was also superb. Can't wait to go back!“

“I've been going to Maria'a since I was a kid. My parents, when they arrived to the US from Mexico would go there and so did my aunts and uncles and cousins. Now I take my kids to eat there. The restaurant has always been the same with great quality food and great service. Maria's restaurant is a gem in the community and will hopefully be there for many more generations. Don't sleep on this place, give it a try.“

“Didn't know they had more than one restaurant in the L.A. area. This is the second one we tried and it didn't disappoint, it was just as good as the first time and second times we visited the Koreatown location. The service, the food, everything is great.“

“Great place for Korean BBQ“

“There wasn't a lot of Korean options I could find in SGV for a weekend lunch that included the regular tofu house kind of fare and that wasn't a place that BF and I were not returning to anymore. What caught my eye at Omma Tofu House was their cold buckwheat noodles, a perfect item to order on a hot summer day.

I knew I didn't have enough appetite to finish their combo of galbi and cold buckwheat noodles, so I opted for the cold buckwheat noodles only ($14.99). BF ordered the bulgogi and beef tofu soup combo ($22.99). Everything really hit the spot.

We've been back multiple times to try other things on their menu like their dolsot bibimbap, jajangmyeon, galbi, spicy pork, spicy grilled chicken, and seafood pancake. All were pretty solid. Our usual go-to now would be a solo order of tofu soup and a tofu soup combo with whatever protein we are in the mood for that meal. They refill banchan, so just bring back the empty plate to the counter for some more. The counter also has a self-serving water/tea machine so you can refill your cup too.

Plenty of parking in the plaza. They close at 8 pm for all 7 days of business, so don't stop by too late, as the food court also tends to shut down around that time.“

“The pork katsu was amazing, but the macaroni and the salad need some improvement. I hope it was just an off day, but the macaroni had a strange taste, and the salad was bland. I really hope those two items are improved because the pork katsu itself was excellent.“

“I think I just had one of the best meals I have ever had. I took the food up to my hotel room and I felt like I was home. The service was so good I can tell they truly care about their food and the presentation of it. Even the chili sauce was so good like I can’t say enough good things. I got the half and half bbq chicken and japchae and I saw a lot of people slurping ramen and I just had to get some rice cake spicy ramen too and my gosh. We came for the Marinated raw blue crab 🦀 super fresh and decent size. Lots yolks in bright orange color. You know it’s fresh!
Also ordered small size Braised beef 🥩 short ribs. It’s huge! Comes with lots beef ribs as well as rice cakes and glass noodles.
Meat is so tender comes right off the bones.

“Such a fun spot for good Korean food! We ordered the large boneless chicken wings. You get to try 2 flavors, so we got Korean spicy (mild) and soy garlic. We also got a regular order of the boneless Korean bbq wings. The Korean bbq flavor was our favorite! Definitely want to come back and try more flavors!“

“Cute little Korean fusion spot located in Arts District! The interior and decor were cute and modern; I can definitely see the place transforming into a more of a lounge/pocha in the evenings, although I don't think that's something they do currently. We had a reservation for an early Sunday dinner, and were seated immediately. The place filled up pretty shortly after. I'd say with their menu, it's probably best to do family-style here.

For our table of 3, we ordered the Scallop Naengchae Crudo, Spicy Octopus Cheese Tteokbokki, Nak-Gob-Sae Spicy Seafood Stew, and Truffle Potato Pancake (Jeon). With the complimentary banchan, I think this was a decent amount of food. The standout dish was probably the Truffle Potato Jeon, but they were all good! I think next time for a smaller group, I'd probably want to stick to only one spicy dish. While I enjoyed both the tteokbokki and seafood stew, it just got to be a bit too heavy towards the end of our meal. Maybe with a larger group it would be better, because you could order more lighter dishes to help break the meal up.

Overall, great spot for some casual food/drinks with friends! I can see myself coming back in the future.“

“I found Temaki Society after the iHeart R&B concert because it happened to be nearby, and the concept looked different enough that we decided to stop in. It's located inside The Grayson, so at first it feels like you're walking into a bar, but the temaki counter is right in the front.

The ordering process is easy. You seat yourself, grab your own water, and they bring the food out. One thing I really like is that each hand roll comes with the plastic separator that keeps the seaweed crisp until you're ready to eat it.

The first time I came, we ordered a set of five so we could try a variety. This most recent visit, I came back specifically for the Cut with caviar, uni, and toro. Definitely on the pricey side, but look at the quality they give you. It was delicious.

The staff has always been nice, service is quick, and you toss your wrappers into the little trash bins at your seat. If you want good hand rolls Downtown and something different from the usual Grand Central Market stops, I'm a fan. I'd definitely come back.“

“The owner was so nice and heartwarming to talk with. All of the foods sold here are from homemade recipes and it is delicious. She also offers microeavi the food so its nice and warm when eating. Location is great as its nearby and such a lifesaver when wanting something quick to eat and also delicous. Definitely will come back again!“

“They were not joking when they called this comfort food. I was sick, and it was raining, so I wanted something warm and hearty. This place seemed like the obvious choice, and far exceeded my expectations. Food came out fast and blistering hot, but still perfect temperature to eat right away. It was somehow nostalgic, even though it was my first time trying this dish. The tofu was extremely soft, but held its shape well, and very flavorful from absorbing the liquid. It really felt like it cured by illness.

Portion size was also very generous, which is always important. The menu was also pretty varied, I could imagine coming back multiple times and trying something new each time.“

“yeah so I finally tried that place on magnolia everyone's been talking about and honestly it hit the spot pretty well. the kimchi jjigae was super comforting on a cold day and had just the right amount of spice to warm you up without making you sweat through your shirt or anything dramatic but it was definitely solid. the side dishes were good too with the little fishcake being my favorite but i wish they gave you more banchan for how much the entrees cost, you know, like at least refill once. the bulgogi was tender and had a nice sweet marinade that paired well with the ssamjang and lettuce wraps they brought out, though the serving size felt a bit small for the price. i gobbled it up pretty quick and was kinda wishing i had ordered an extra rice bowl to make sure i got full. honestly id go back for the soup alone but id probably skip the grill items unless im really craving it and just stick to the hot pot choices since that is what they seem to do best.“

“I had lunch at Koya Japanese & Korean Grill, and it was the perfect spot for a lunch break! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was warm and friendly, and everything came out quickly. “Spicy pork neck bone soup 뼈다귀 해장국 (감자탕) was so comforting and filling, came with lot of tender meat that fell right off the bone! The soup was flavorful and spicy but not too heavy, pairing perfectly with the veggies and rice.
The bossam (steamed pork belly) 보쌈 was also so tender and makes for a great sharing dish. The banchan, especially the kimchi, tasted so authentic!
Compared to other places, Moobongri Soondae tasted refreshing, not too heavy on oil or MSG, and nice portions for the price! The service was also great, we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!“

“This place is incredibly good! However, I’ve been a loyal customer for ten years and still encounter one exceptionally rude woman who keeps charging me more than the bill requires. I’m not sure why she’s still employed there, but please be cautious about what you’re being charged. The food is delicious, but some of us have a hard time living on tips. “I don’t even know where to begin.

I was craving Korean food—specifically bulgogi and vegetables—and this place came up as a Top Eats recommendation with outstanding reviews. I took a chance… and wow, am I glad I did.

This is some of the best Korean food I’ve had. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care.

I ordered delivery, and even that was flawless. Everything was packaged thoughtfully, nothing spilled (including two drinks!), and every item that was supposed to be crispy actually stayed crispy. That’s rare.

The bulgogi is outstanding. Pair it with the glass noodles or the rice—or do what I did and get both. The house-made kimchi is absolutely delicious, and I took a gamble on ordering an entire bottle of their spicy mayo. Big mistake… because now I wish I’d ordered two.

The eggplant with crispy tofu and vegetables was another standout—savory, satisfying, and absolutely delicious, especially paired with that spicy mayo. The tofu stayed perfectly crisp, which made it even more impressive for delivery.

And then there’s the butterfly peach tea. I don’t know what kind of magic is in that drink, but it completely blew me away. Fresh, balanced, and easily one of the best teas I’ve ever had.

The bulgogi sandwich was rich, indulgent, and somehow still perfectly balanced. Every bite of everything I ordered made me think, “These people really know what they’re doing.”

In fact, I called the restaurant after my meal just to tell them how incredible everything was and to make sure the chef and the team heard how impressed I was. They were just as kind over the phone as their food was exceptional.

The portions are generous, the prices are more than fair, and every dollar felt well spent. Eating out isn’t cheap these days, but this is exactly the kind of place that’s worth it.

I genuinely can’t believe I didn’t know about this restaurant sooner, but I’m so glad I found it. I’ll absolutely be visiting in person because I want to thank the team myself.

“Miso Tofu BBQ is a traditional and authentic Korean restaurant. It is not a AYCE BBQ. The quality of the food is good and the presentation is traditional, not fancy. The clientele is mostly Korean, that should tell you something. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I rate it a 5 star overall as they hit all the marks. Remember, this is a mom and pop place not a high end Korean BBQ with grills at the table.“

“We ordered Rose Teokbokki in first visit. I really loved it . Then we visited again to try the OG chicken Katsu and I really loved it. I would definitely go back for it. Portion size was very good for the price. Teokbokki size was huge. The service is very good .Very kind staff and customer friendly. I loved the ambience and the local Korean vedios running in the television which made me feel like I was in South Korea. The staff gave us miso soup as complimentary which I really appreciate. I would order it in my next visit as it was tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend for my friends and family.“

“I have came to this place since the day they barely opened up. I don't live in Huntington Park. I usually get their Salmon Bowl and on rare occasions, Miso Ramen.
The times I have gotten the Salmon Bowl, I have received good portions (enough rice and great Salmon pieces) but sometimes I would receive small Salmon pieces to the point where I have to pay extra for another piece. I do not mind paying extra pieces but portions MUST always stay consistent. The picture shown below, that day, I paid for an extra piece but I didn't know I was going to get regular size piece. I do not regret it. But portions have to be consistent. I still go to Akai every weekend for the Salmon Bowl and I will keep spending my money with this business.“

“Been here twice now, first time got two small ones, one matcha and one injeolmi. I love injeolmi so it was really delicious. The matcha too, very rich flavor. The ice itself is so soft and fluffy and tastes delicious. Definitely need the red bean on the side.

The second time we got the bigger melon one ($19.99) with red bean on the side as well. Heard multiple people both times complain about not getting red bean (it doesn’t come with most of them), so remember to order it on the side. The melon one was good, but the smaller ones were better.

Overall one of the best bingsoo places I’ve been to, Korea included. Def best in the US. The texture just hits different.“

“Hangang in Temple City is a great spot if you’re craving Korean food! 🇰🇷 The inside has a very traditional Korean aesthetic that gives the restaurant such a cozy and authentic feel.

They have really good deals on their combo sets, especially for the amount of food you get. The portions are generous, everything was filling, and we definitely left satisfied!

But the cold noodles were the standout for me! 🍜 This is officially my new favorite spot for Korean cold noodles. So refreshing, flavorful, and definitely something I’ll be coming back for.
