Stellar food, incredible customer service and communication, stunning ambience. Jane and Andie helped us curate a perfect meal and mocktail experience during our first visit. Came back again later for another gathering.
Cute little Korean fusion spot located in Arts District! The interior and decor were cute and modern; I can definitely see the place transforming into a more of a lounge/pocha in the evenings, although I don't think that's something they do currently. We had a reservation for an early Sunday dinner, and were seated immediately. The place filled up pretty shortly after. I'd say with their menu, it's probably best to do family-style here.

HOJOKBAN LA is a very nice new spot for Korean Fusion food, offering a truly 5 star experience. The interior is Korean-inspired but modern and fancy, with a vibe that is incredibly hip and great for a date night, a night out with friends, or a memorable celebration. The atmosphere is fun and instantly catches your attention.
Every single dish is scrumptious, delicious, and absolutely amazing, with bold, creative, and perfectly balanced flavors. The ingredients are fresh and the presentation shows a lot of care. Standout dishes include the Salmon Ssambap, the super fresh salmon rice bowl, the yukhoe with its memorable sauce, the crispy Gamja-jeon, the Uni & Salmon Bowl, and the must-try Ramyeon Fried Rice. The cucumber muchim is insane and even the side dishes are thoughtfully prepared. The menu is fun with a great variety, and the unique, well-balanced cocktails and recommended Makgeolli are pleasant surprises. Be warned: there are a lot of completely worth it carbs.
The service is the best, with very friendly and kind staff you can trust for recommendations. It is a gem in LA that lives up to the hype, leaving guests very full, very happy, and excited to return to try everything.
