Food was delicious and prices were unbeatable. Seafood kalguksu was made with house made noodles that were chewy, and broth was flavorful. Spicy naengmyun noodles were also perfectly cooked, and had much more fresh vegetables than any other place I’ve eaten. Only draw back is they don’t have enough servers so service can be slow. But the food more than made up for slower service.
We came right before the kitchen closed and the owner accommodated us. Just for her service and suggestions, I would put five stars for this place. Kalguksu was ok, nothing special, but the highlight is the braised black cod. For the chinese audience here, it’s cooked in the style similar to red braised pork: savory, somewhat sweet, and buttery soft in texture mixed in with peppers, onions, rice cakes, and daikon. Amazing place. On of the few places in Los Angeles with Very authentic food. Plus the lady that runs this family restaurant is very kind and nice 👍
