“If you're ever wondering how great Gyros would taste like, this is the place for you!!! This place serves BOMBBBBBBB Gyros and Fries and Salad!! I can't get enough, I find myself ordering from here at least once a week, I feel like I should just move in at this point LOL! 10/10 would recommend the Lamb Gyros, Fries (these are addictive!!!), Gyro Salad!! The service is always top notch, the staff is so friendly and quick! A hassle-free ambiance that's for sure. Bonus: they have free parking in the plaza!!“
“Delicious food at an incredible price. I highly recommend it for a special occasion, a romantic dinner, or even to get away to a quiet nicer dinner. I've been there three times for different event dinner events, each time my husband and I have not been disappointed. I love the brussels sprouts while my husband raved about the bone marrow appetizer. The salmon was on point and so was the Korean BBQ plate. The presentation is also well done. We look forward to our next dinning experience there.“
“Best upscale Filipino food on the Sunset strip! Will definitely be back.Try the lechon kawali and chicken skins! OMG! So heavenly! Our server was great and very sweet and seemed to genuinely care that our experience is nothing short of superb!“
“It was our 1st time there. Smaller than it looks in pics so I'd say it's a quaint place. Only a couple beer choices but decent amount of wine choices. The food is shareable which I prefer. The salads were sooo good! The 2 pizzas were sooo tasty. The bread with butter is light & airy. Sauces for the pizza crusts were a bonus.Parking: Next door lot is $25 for about 2 hours“
“The BEST dining experience!! Our table had a gluten & garlic allergy and the staff and chef were so accommodating!! It did not feel like an impediment, they offered us so many options!! All the food was delicious and the service was even better!! We love this restaurant and can't recommend it enough!! 20/10!!“
“A great addition to the valley. From a valley girl who eats everywhere OUTSIDE of the valley, I can truthfully say that I am happy about this being so close to home. :) Ambiance and atmosphere here is 10/10. Both of my experiences have been pretty great. Staff has all been nothing short of attentive and really nice. Both times I have sat at the bar, and each time was a pleasant experience. However, I will say that the restaurant gets very loud which can be a tad bit overwhelming, but I don't think they can control that. As for the Ramen, I can honestly say... it was flavorful. My first visit, I decided to try something outside of the norm, which was the Shrimp Wonton Ramen. It was delicious! Definitely not a traditional ramen but just as good. The friendly bar tender recommend I try the Spicy creamy Vegan ramen with added wontons the next visit.. which I did. 10/10 would suggest!!! The broth on the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen is super flavorful! Adding in the Shrimp Wontons just made it 10x better in my opinion. I have yet to try any of the small plates, because the ramen is sooo filling. But next time I definitely will. Great beers on tap, and yummy cocktails! As mentioned, I will be returning back to try other things on the menu. Overall, I do enjoy this restaurant.“
“Bit of a pricey spot, but so worth it! Got the intestine hotpot, gyoza stuffed wings, and oysters. Hotpot comes only with intestine, cabbage, chives, and noodles, so we ended up adding tofu pork meat. Such a good choice for a cold night. Fattiness of intestines was umami and not overwhelming, especially when paired with the yuzu kosho. Noodles were thick and the perfect texture. Wings taste exactly what the sound like and had a nice grilled flavor. Oysters were very fresh and refreshing.“
“I love the concept of this restaurant and the service was spot on great! We sampled several dishes from the menu and I can highly recommend the yummy ribs, the swiss chard, and the asparagus was super (done with a tangerine sauce that was amazing)! The deviled egg was delightful as well as the tomato puree on toasts, a nice palette cleanser...And the goat milk flan was a desert winner!! I will say a few dishes just weren't up to par - the skewered calamari was underwhelming, not well spiced and rather bland, and the garling shrimp was overwhelming with too much garlic (and we were all garlic lovers). I was glad we asked for a quiet table, tucked up in the corner of the upstairs area (we had a double birthday dinner), because the noise level in general was very high. I recommend seating up on the balcony if possible. All in all, however, it was a great experience and we'll certainly go back and sample some more dishes from this neighborhood gem.“
“Wow wow wow! This place is unreal. Probably the most gourmet brunch in the valley you can get. Gasolina is a Spanish inspired brunch restaurant in the valley. I ordered the skillet breakfast which makes me think of shakshuka, a Mediterranean egg dish cooked in tomatoes and onions. This is their take on that dish, but amplified with meat and a different inspiration of flavors. It doesn't look like it will fill you up but trust me, you will be very satisfied. My girlfriend ordered the burger and we split the patatas bravas. Both very good and cooked to perfection. The wait staff was also very friendly and gave us good recommendations! Highly recommend this place for a former brunch in the valley.“
“Great spot! I came here 10 years ago, and was delighted to find out it is still open. Same charm: dark wood, sweeping curtains, smokey cocktails, red leather couches, jazz music. We had the chicken bites, a glass of cab sauv, and one of the lychee cocktails. Everything was good but the lychee wasn't overwhelmingly good- I will probably switch to a whiskey based drink next time. The chicken was a perfect small bite to pair with drinks. Everyone there seemed to be a pair: first dates, deep conversations, etc. There are tables in the main room, couches in the fireplace room, and a long bar.“
“Came here on a Friday night for a girls dinner with some friends. Food was excellent!! Loved everything we got. Drinks were also very good - I recommend the espresso martini but the wine I ordered was also fantastic. Service was not slow but definitely drawn out so I’d plan on taking your time which we were happy to do! Our server was wonderful. Overall great experience and would come back again.“
“We just learned about Sola a couple of months ago and we've gone five times already. The food is outstanding, the restaurant is nice, with a cool mellow vibe, and the owner is friendly and fun to talk to.I've tried almost everything on the menu by now, from the sizzling mushrooms to the grilled onigiri, to the special salad covered in fried onions. It has all been great.Try the grilled mackerel and mixed dumplings, too. Seriously, everything there is delicious.Fairly quiet, so it's a perfect place for a date or meet-up with friends. And there's free parking downstairs!“
“While the ramen is quite good, try their other non-ramen offerings. Katsu curry rice is very good here (katsu pork was prepared perfectly and curry flavorful) as well as their gyudon (beef over rice). Service as fast, friendly and attentive and the dining area was very clean. Value for the meal is excellent especially for West LA! Cannot recommend enough!“
“Amazing diverse Mexican cuisine. Everyone can find something for him/herself. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend Tacos Tu Mądre and I will definitely come back!!!They also have a lot of choice for vegans!“
“We had a great location in the restaurant. In the very back patio. It was pouring but with 2 heaters it was very cosy. 1 of our servers was great, the other seemed to hate her job. Food was average plus, nothing special, but the ambiance made up for it“
“Love this place. I have been here 4 times. Love the seating and low music. However I think food is too expensive for the amount served. Especially for lunch. 2 people price for lunch with tips and tax was $250 Here is what we ordered 2 appetizers one main dish. 2 juices one dessert. I This is way too expensive considering there was no alcohol and it was lunch time. I also wish they add breakfast options to their weekly lunch menu.“
“Let's start off love the layout of this place very cool calm and collective atmosphere local atmosphere. The plating was very nice and aesthetic. The service was quick and attentive. You can get onto the waitlist on Yelp which I love. Biscuits n Gravy - 6/7 it was super filling and I would've appreciated they went easy on the sausage bits. It felt like a soup. But it was tasty and a different take on it. Side of eggs, SUPER SALTY Benedict - 7 the taste was ok, pork belly was a bit small and didn't go well with the benedict very well could've been better as far as pairing it together. The pancakes were 10/10 which is was the upside of our brunch light, fluffy and not too sweet and yummy fruits!“
“Food was fast, fresh and tasty (great spicy shrimp wontons and pork dumplings, in particular!). Most of all, Kate's service was exceptional! Where it would have been expected (given the set up and staff) that her role would keep her behind the counter, she was proactive in all aspects of service, friendly, professional and personable. This is what service is all about! We will be back.“
“I came here with a couple friends and wow I mean, I've had my fair share of Mediterranean before, but this place takes it to a whole new level! The vibe is super cool, perfect for a night out with friends or a low-key date. And the food? AMAZING!Every single dish we tried was perfect. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable too, so you can trust them to guide you through the menu. All in all, Tapas Bar is a total gem and I can't wait to go back!“
