Better prices than you'll get most places these days!Kid-friendliness: Kids menus/ activity sheets and crayons, special drink cups they can take home. Plenty of kid friendly food options. Would have liked some kind of built in fruit or vegetable option that wasn't instead of a "fun" side. The kids also love sitting on the "couches" in the booths. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.“

“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!“

“We flew in from Australia. Attentive staff, waitress and maitre'd. Extensive wine menu to cater all palates. The food was absolutely delectable. The signature dishes were the highlights including spicy big tuna cones and salmon pizza with the ever crisp dough. “Where do I start with how much I love this place? As a photographer it's a joy and a delight to be here but even without the fact that I've worked there many times... The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. Food is top of the line and jazz club is elegant and upscale. Can't wait to eat and shoot pics there again soon.“

“3rd visit - Obsessed! Innovate cuisine and meticulous cocktails at the level everywhere else wishes they could. Negroni - All time fav because the bitter punches hard (sometimes too hard). This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“

“Most excellent experience and food was perfect. We had the duck eggrolls and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms as starters, both had a delish specialty drink. I had the house burger with 3 different meats ground in including wagyu. Was done perfectly med rare. No room for dessert this time. Will def go back. Service was nice, we sat at the bar. “Street parking in the area is almost impossible, luckily they have a valet ($20 cash only). The service was really good from the hostess, to the wait staff, everybody took amazing care of us. I started with an espresso martini. This was by far the best one I have ever had. We shared a few dishes: beet salad, endives, truffle fries, mac n cheese, wagyu porterhouse and a few desserts. Everything was incredible. Their wagyu porterhouse is sourced from Snake River farms. It was cooked to perfection with a nice charred crust on the outside while kept pink on the inside - well seasoned and very juicy. We also got a side of mashed potatoes with it, those were so smooth and creamy. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!“

“My wife and I had a wonderful time dining here for brunch. Make sure to make reservation because they do get busy especially if you want a good view. The place has valet parking or you can park on the street which does fill up quick. We got seated at a nice corner table with a nice view of the mountain. I got the Burger on 27 with fries and my wife got their Clam Chowder. I asked for a coke for my drink which came out to be the bottle coke and my wife got their Chai Latte. I thought the burger was alright and my wife said the chowder was good. She really loved the Chai Latte though so I asked for one to go for her. The service here was good and you basically pay for the view here. “Came in for work dinner. They placed us in a nice conference room. They had multiple of these. The food came in on time and tasted good. Mine was cold at first but they warmed it up, which is understandable when you have 20steaks to make. The filet was tasty and so were the calamari appetizers and bread. “Didn't want to be stuck in traffic for over 2.5 hrs to get home, so I decided to come here and grab a drink, watch some games, and let the traffic die down. They have minimal parking on the street but a large parking lot to the back. I was the first one here for at least an hour, which was really nice. They got televisions all over the place. So no matter where you sit, you get a good view of the game. They got some upbeat music playing loudly over the speakers. Some real head bangers!! Got me tapping my foot and bobbing my head!! It's somewhat dark, but well lit with all the neon signs and tvs. The booths were also really comfy. The waitress I had was amazing. Super nice. Checked on me frequently, since I was the only one there for a while. Very conversational. Great at small talk, so thanks. Knew the menu well. They have daily happy hours of beers, some food. And being a Tuesday, it was taco Tuesday!!!! Tacos were $2.50 each. I ordered one of each and they came out early quick. Feels like the ones you get right off the streets of LA (in a good way). Lots of protein. Packed with toppings. Double tortillas. More sauce on the side. They were all really good!! I had a couple of their beers. Had one on tap, an IPA, as well as another one in a bottle. Vibes here are really cool. It was nice just to sit back, kind of put my feet up and chill. Everyone was super nice. Upon request they can turn on the volume of any of the games. Unfortunately, someone requested the soccer game to be played on blast. Which killed the music. But I had been there a good 1.5 hrs by then, and I guess that was my cue to leave. And it only took an hr and 10 min to get home, mission accomplished!!“

“Yes, this is a neighborhood gem. When I meet friends for lunch and we're seated near the pool, I feel like I'm on vacation. It never fails to make me happy. I almost always order the hamburger because I'm a sucker for the gigantic addition of sweet potato fries, which are really the best in the city. The burger, while declicious, is too oozy and it's difficult not to drip all over myself. Wait staff is very nice. There was a "Wellness Surcharge," which I find annoying because I don't know whose wellness. I'd prefer the restaurant simply raise their prices and pay for the wellness of all by themselves. I've had two businesses and always paid for my employee's insurance. It shouldn't be put in the lap of the customer.“

“I was in a part of town I rarely visit & played "Yelp roulette". I rust type in "highest rated" in current location & see what looks interesting. I'm glad I found CF Food Kitchen. It's a fairly nondescript restaurant with a simple interior in the corner of a small pod mall. It was "Wellington Wednesday". Other items looked great, but I've never had beef Wellington, so I figured, "Why not???". It comes as a three course meal plus warm, perfectly crusty bread. I picked lobster bisque which was very rich, creamy and lobster-forward even without many (any?) lobster bits. I took the desert to-go. The key lime pie was solid. The Wellington was good, not great. The pastry was kind of doughy & the mushroom duxelles was fairly flavorless. Luckily the beef loin and Demi glacé were excellent. Also the dollop of whipped mash was great with the Demi glacé and a few small veggies. The roasted gold beet was small, but the star of the veggies. The server was amazing: warm, welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I hope I'm back in the area to try other items. They definitely focus more on the food than the ambiance, though.“

“MY FAVORITE LA BAR!!! My review is loooong overdue as I've been coming here for years. I've moved further South on Ventura but I still manage to come to what I feel is my home in bar form. I'm a woman who loves mixology and good bartending and most bars are extremely male centric. TLP is great for women and men. It wouldn't surprise me that many women love this bar. You will hear everyone mention "the feel" of the bar and it's because they seem to consistently hire AMAZING BAR AND WAIT STAFF. Kudos to management for keeping such excellent consistency. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME..I come to the bar I sit at the bar and get an INCREDIBLE convo from the bartenders. They always serve me the most fantastic drinks and make me feel like a FUGGIN QUEEN. I love them so much for this. They manage people well and that's hard to come by. Even if I've had a bad day they seem to always say the thing that lifts my spirits -- it's wild. “Although I’m writing this review for this location, this is just my review for The Stand as a restaurant overall. That said:This place is great. Their burgers aren’t world class or anything, but they’re a far cry better than any fast food joint not named In N Out (and even then I’m debating if The Stand burgers are better). Fries are crisp, seasoned well, and the entire meal comes in an adorable little tray. The hospitality is also something to take note of. Soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a TM with, “Hi! Welcome in.” That by itself shows this place treats you not as a customer but as a guest. This is the Mendocino Farms of burger joints in my opinion. Nice sit down place with a number placard. They deliver your food. Everything is a la carte so it will be a tad expensive if you want the full shebang of entree, side, and drink. But for what you’re paying for, the food is for sure worth it and they do ensure guest satisfaction here. No need to bus your table because they’ll do it for you. They even have a sign that literally asks you not to clear off your table and just let a TM handle it. Great music selection. TVs provide something to look at and watch while you wait for your food or eat. A large menu. From steak bowls to salads to sandwiches to burgers with a build your own burger option. Even the desserts are just something to really sink your teeth into. I don’t frequent The Stand a lot but whenever I do, it’s pretty great. Great food for the price you pay, best customer service, and just an overall pleasant vibe. For The Stand in general…Grade: A-“

“The food was excellent and the coffee, which can be hit or miss at any given restaurant, was fresh and a good medium to dark roast. There isn't anything special about the building or decor, but I actually liked that it wasn't gimmicky. The tables are all 4-seaters but can be moved to accommodate larger parties - ours was a group of 6 and we didn't have to wait to be seated despite it being a somewhat busy Saturday morning. The wait staff was fast and not too chatty, which I liked, but they also didn't check on us at all so we did have to flag someone down whenever we needed refills. I would absolutely eat there again.Parking: The parking lot was full so we had to park on the street. There are multiple other businesses sharing the same parking lot, so that was a contributing factor.“

The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“

I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely.
