“the size of a 4 top table in a booth being far too cramped for 3 men and a lady, the experience at Black Market was, again, top-notch. Lauren, the manager and many hat wearing server, took exceptional care of our table. Food was fired in the right order. We had courses come out at just the right times and great suggestions from the staff. The Korean bbq wings, the cauliflower, burrata with peaches, and the bolognese were perfectly cooked and delicious. Drinks are also fantastic - I had a classic Negroni. We'll be back .“

“The bar at the Valley Inn is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in LA. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“I have to share how great Judith, the manager, was today. I messed up my to-go order and put two chicken tenders instead of chicken tenders and chips. She not only not charged me for the chips after explaining the situation but gave me quite a large portion. I know chips are cheap but this small painless interaction was just so appreciated. I’ll go out of my way to come back here“

“On January 30th our group consisting of about 35 retired cops and guests met at the restaurant for a breakfast meeting. We and were seated in the banquet room and Gail, our server, handled the group cheerfully and efficiently, mostly by herself. She took and delivered all of the orders and deserves credit for her friendly demeanor and keeping her composure while handling this gathering with minimal assistance from the other staff.“

Anissa (I hope I am spelling that right) took my order and truly impressed me with her efficiency. She handled everything from running the register to prepping food and organizing to go orders. “We needed a place to eat dinner late on Friday night and found Henri's. They were closing in 15 minutes but gladly allowed us to sit and order. We didn't want to make it hard for them so we just ordered breakfast for dinner and it was delicious! We are picky in our bacon and hashbrowns and want them cooked very crispy. They were the best we ever had! The next day we came back for breakfast for real and pretty much ordered the same thing. Unfortunately it must have been a different cook. Although it was good and plentiful it was not cooked as nicely as the night before. Definitely NOT a deal breaker cause Henri's is really very good and the staff is exceptionall - both visits. We could tell it is a local favorite and that is always a good sign.“

“My first time coming here and i was very pleased! It's kinda hidden off Sepulveda south of Ventura, near Dickens. It has very nice outdoor and indoor seating options. The waitresses were super nice and friendly and the food was great! I asked for something i saw on yelp but they no longer serve. The waitress made a recommendation and I was very pleased! “This place feels seedy from the outside and dated and unwelcoming when you step in. Don’t let that fool or stop you. Once you’re in and seated you realize most everyone is a regular, and the staff is warm and welcoming. And the food is seriously stellar. I had the Bullet (their original recipe since 1954), my girlfriend the Huevos Rancheros. You can taste the time and care that goes into making everything from scratch. I don’t usually go places more than once but look forward to becoming a regular here and trying more on the menu.“

“First time at this dennys with my husband and almost 1 year old. Our server Srisaang was amazing. She had a great attitude, speedy and great service. She even helped diffuse a tantrum that my baby was having. The place itself was super clean and very well decorated. I'm not from the area so I wasn't sure if it was a new dennys or if it was renovated but it looks nice and new. The food was also really good. We would come again :)“

“I got the chicken sandwich, which was excellent. It comes with fresh made chips. Waitress asked if I wanted to add fries and I thought it came with just the sandwich so ordered those as well. I did not look at the description of what it came with. Music was too loud for my liking. You can sit outside as well. Very reasonably priced.“

Sadly, It’s the last Applebee’s in the valley, as they closed the other locations in Porter Ranch and near Warner center. Yes, Definitely give this place a try. The place was pretty busy on happy hour 3-6pm everyday. The staff and waiter were also very nice and receptive. We will definitely make another visit in the future.“
