This place feels seedy from the outside and dated and unwelcoming when you step in.
Don’t let that fool or stop you.
Once you’re in and seated you realize most everyone is a regular, and the staff is warm and welcoming.
And the food is seriously stellar. I had the Bullet (their original recipe since 1954), my girlfriend the Huevos Rancheros. You can taste the time and care that goes into making everything from scratch.

Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully prepared, and satisfying. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
Delicious with friendly service. After living in Reseda for 50 years I finally went to zig's three times now for a late breakfast. Each time the food was absolutely delicious and the service very friendly. First time I had the biscuits and gravy with their delicious sausage gravy, second time that chicken fried steak with that same gravy, the last time I had eggs benedict also delicious with a very lemony Tangy Hollandaise sauce.
