“Second time at Inn of the Seventh Ray. First time eating. Will 100% be back to dine again. Chris was our server and picked out a perfect wine pairing for each of our courses. We had the cheese plate, Cesar salad, rigatoni, and filet. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and presented with care. I cant recommend this place enough. It is a MUST SEE location in Topanga. Thank you!“

“Food is always excellent here. Taste amazing, high quality ingredients, beautiful presentation. One thing about this experience is that when the staff was closing up.. I don't know if they turned off the AC or closed the doors but it got really HOT. And it kind of made me feel like they did it on purpose so that people can leave. I declined dessert, which is my fave, only because it was so friggin hot. But otherwise, dinner was great.“

The breakfast burrito is my favorite in all of LA but the dinner experience, the atmosphere is very fun it’s the perfect spot for casual family friendly dinner where the food is amazing The burger was delicious and so are the fish tacos. finally, the banana bread for dessert was so tasty.“

“The food at Lunetta is always reliable and nicely prepared....tasty, too! The service is also very nice. The interior of the restaurant is worn and dated and could definitely use a refresh. Also, the noise level was way up which poses a problem if you can't shout over other people at other tables in order to be heard by your people at your table. If you are hearing challenged, the noise problem is even more challenging. To be fair, this noise issue, unfortunately, seems to be pervasive at most Los Angeles restaurants.“

“Food is a 4 star but the atmosphere and service were 5 stars. Group of us ordered most of the menu and everything was good but not great. Everything just lacked that punch of flavor but the standouts were the bruschetta and the ribeye with chimichurri were my favorites.“

“It was fabulous. We had a lovely table overlooking the beautiful courtyard and pool. Our server, Kitty, was wonderful in every way. We started with a margarita pizza for the table, which was hot and delicious.Then I had the meatballs as an appetizer and they were SO GOOD! I had the pasta pomodoro, and it was delicious. You could tell the noodles were fresh and made in-house. My husband had the scallops and gave them a 10/10. Out friends had the burrata, short ribs and salmon, and had zero complaints. They both were very well pleased. We had the Apple galette and the pineapple cake and both were decadent and worth the calories. All in all, a wonderful evening!“

If it wasn't for Isaac, I probably wouldn't have felt confident ordering the aguachile. He assured me it was worth trying, and he wasn't exaggerating, it was everything I could have asked for. (With more shrimp than agua & chile combined) As someone who loves lime, this dish exceeded all of my expectations.
I came in alone on a Sunday evening just looking to satisfy my appetite, but I left feeling like I had experienced much more than a great meal. Isaac made me feel at home, even bringing extra spices so my Hispanic side would be fully satisfied.
My Spanish (and even my English 😅) isn't always the best, but Isaac is perfectly bilingual and made sure he understood exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you to the Brixton management for building such a welcoming team. These days, it's about more than just good food. People want to feel comfortable and cared for as if they're enjoying Mom's cooking with Dad's warm presence. That's exactly how this experience felt.... I'll definitely be back for more! 🍽“

“This restaurant is absolutely adorable, but the service wasn't great. Our waitress didn't refill our waters and didn't come around much so we could ask to have them refilled. The good news is that the delicious food and good company outweighed the service situation. We had the fish and chips and they were absolutely delicious. A bit pricey for fish and chips, but Santa Monica overall was pricey for food so this isn't necessarily a negative against the restaurant.“

“the service was spectacular. really fun group of servers... food = excellent - exception: chicken appetizer a little greasy/ excessively fried but everything else: salmon, hamachi, avocado fries, duck tacos, etc. was great. a little too loud at first due to boisterous group in the bar right next to our table. acoustics are not great for conversation when the bar is hopping. this is my second time and I will come back.“

No server leaves the kitchen empty handed and the vibe is to make their customers happy with continuous even flow table service. Disney please take note! I am not of of millennial restaurants where stand at a cash register and pay the tip upfront then assigned a number & number holder then fend & elbow for a table. This is old school service upgraded with innovative traffic management to expedite cuisines & cocktails. I love the intimacy of the raised railroad car booths where I can actually hear my guest’s conversation and speak to wait staff at eye level. And the bathrooms are so modern and spotless! “Thank you so much farmshop!!! Please know your kindness meant a lot to all of us after the palisades fire. We we're waiting in line to receive an escort back into the Pacific palisades following the fire! This line was at least 300 cars long. People had been waiting in it since early yesterday, desperately hoping to see if they still had a home following the mandatory evacuation. There was a lot of collective heartache going around, but also two gentleman from Farmshop, carrying baskets full of banana bread. They stopped by every car, giving each occupant a hearty slice of freshly baked banana bread. My family just inhaled this stuff! Taking a bite, all of us commented how much it tasted like the banana bread grandma use to make. I don't know if you were using the same recipe or you both baked that bread with love, but talk about soul food! It didn't just feed our bellies, it fed our hearts. A person doesn't easily forget the grace and goodness they're given when engulfed in grief, and Ill never forget the first time i took a bite of Farmshop's banana bread!!! Thank you! Thank you! “I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! Malibu Beach Inn exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a luxurious and unforgettable beachfront experience. I can't wait to return and make more cherished memories at this exceptional hotel.“

“Fabulous hyper-farm-to-table food by a creative chef, on Main St in Santa Monica. I’ve tried the Gazpacho, the many Danish Rye toasts with what is fresh that day: eggs, salmon roe, avocado or ....? They also have baristas that make all type of drinks. My fab place to indulge healthy and fresh“

“The bar at the Valley Inn is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in LA. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“The experience was amazing at Sugar Palm. The server, Alfred, was so sweet and gave us great recommendations! The steak frites were to die for but if you like more of a lighter meal, definitely try the seared ahi tuna. It was so fresh and the sauce was incredible. Their pineapple margarita was also VERY delicious! You won’t go wrong with anything on the menu.“

“Stayed here for a few days. Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. No food between 10-4pm if you’re in the hotel. Their little market does have food to go options.

Breakfast opens at 6am. Sadly, you can’t pre-order. I ordered for delivery one more and then pickup the next. If you order online, make sure to pay attention if you pick room service or pickup.

Had dinner a few times. They have grilled octopus. The one that I got was a tad salty and lemony. I’m not keen on lemon on my seafood. It was tender. So if you don’t mind it, then you’ll be ok. Otherwise, let them know to go easy on the lemon and salt. Also ordered fish tacos, chicken wings and truffle Parmesan fries. Out of all of them, I’d say truffle Parmesan was the best.

“When the soccer games first started, we came here to watch a game and the bar was very quiet. We weren’t sure what to expect, but Neely completely changed the experience.

She is one of the nicest, friendliest, and most genuine servers we’ve met. She always makes everyone feel welcome, takes great care of her customers, and brings such a positive energy to the place.
