“My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.“

“It makes sense that this place has so many stars 🌟. The food was amazing. I came around 1pm and found that it was pretty quiet. Breakfast is my favorite meal, so I came to try it out. The orange 🍊 juice alone was worth the trip. I ended up getting the criollos plate. The tangy, slightly spicy sauce added so much to the dish. I wanna have it again, but I wanna try the other vegetarian dishes they have.
The atmosphere was nice, very chill vibes and cozy. Local in old town between the metro and art center.“

“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? Or if they carry on the excellence, always model from it being an early military insulation moons and moons ago! But it works! You place your order before you're even seated and pay right away. Then you have many opportunities for seating. You can go outside and observe the plans and helicopters up close and personal on the top deck. Or there are several covered see through patios. Each is well heated and ventilated. Or you can snuggle inside in a booth or at a table with friends. You will find plenty of staff who check in on you, and are constantly on the move, providing exceptional, high quality customer service. It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. So check out this community treasure whenever you're in Ventura County! You will not be disappointed but will find a home away from home.“

“I love Mom and Papa joints like this one. They have great breakfast here, in my opinion. The flavors are excellent, they take pride on their cooking and that makes my food soul so happy. I tried their chile verde chicken enchiladas breakfast, it was toped off with 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and beans .. wonderful.. you guys should try it for your selfs, it will make you food soul so happy. “If I could rate 10 stars, I would. Matt, a bartender, is amazing. My first time there and he made sure I felt like I was a regular customer. He’s 10/10 rating for sure. If you’re ever in the city and looking for a bar to go to, this is it. I’ve never felt more welcomed in a place than this.“

“Paris may have its sidewalk cafes, but Camarillo has this gem! Great eats at fair prices. I love their outside sidewalk tables overlooking El Camino Real, US 101. Dining while counting fire trucks and imagining commuters/travelers on their way to wonderful exotic destinations is another reason why I keep returning.“

Nice and flavorful with just the right amount of spice kick that you'd think Yomama was slapping you in the face.The steak bento could use some more sauce, but I'm not holding that against Yomama.Needless to say, Yomama is my new go-to for a quick sushi bite or a bento.Now if only Yomama would sell me the t-shirt hanging on the wall...“

“We went there yesterday to celebrate the 85th birthday of my sister. We were a party of 8, which included her 3 sons. We each enjoyed our specific orders, service was prompt and everyone we dealt with was attentive. What really stood out, though was the attentive and exceptional service we got from our waitress, Jennifer. She was always cheerful, moved fast, and what impressed me the most was how she constantly checked if we needed anything, and she was there with refills for our drinks even before we can ask for one! Wow, I was super impressed! I had never seen a waitress that awesome in any of the restaurants I’ve eaten, here in the US or even abroad! Way to go, Jennifer! You want a veggie omelette 1st time, then 2nd serving you want meat omelette. Go for it. You eat it - you order it. It is not like a regular buffet where food is left. My favorite, Coffee and soft drinks all you can drink.Please be kind and take all your plates and trash where it belongs. “We enjoyed the show they presented in the evening. We saw the Irish Tenor, Paul Byrom. He is great at putting together a fun set of songs, adding history about the song, and interjecting funny bits into his show. The winery has good food and there pizzas are worth the stop. We didn't try the beer or wine but a lot of people seemed to be enjoying their choices.“

“We have visited flat fish a few times now to listen to bands one was a country western the others was an 80s band called 805 social club. We danced to both bands had a bottle of wine and a pizza the wine was very good and the pizza was excellent and much better than I expected. We will be back again.“

“By far the best bar in Camarillo. I grew up here and Camarillo has been so boring my whole life. I like Institution and Topa Topa but there isn't a more comfortable place to have a drink than Outlaws. I had the pleasure of having Joe as a bartender and she is awesome. Just fun and laid back. Will be here more often.“
