“In an area where there aren’t many vegan restaurants to begin with, it’s great to have one with so many options! It was tough to choose from all their savoury offerings. The fry bread had a nice texture and good toppings. The nachos were a big portion and came with a nice guacamole. Their own dessert, a chocolate cheesecake, was a bit disappointing though. “After over thirty years of dining at arts Carrie never had a bad meal and the people were always the best at what they do there’s three places in town that are the top three for a place to eat and enjoy the best staff that’s always been art’s corner cafe Pete’s breakfast snd two tress restaurant and even though art’s corner cafe is no longer owned by art the boys who own two trees hxx as ve done an awesome job at opening two trees across the street from where I’ve lived for over thirty years but when they opened it was good at best but the boys improved there service there food evolved and became of the best in taste snd quality and nis they own arts cafe now and have kept up there reputation of great food and great service and woukd recommend putting your name down in any of these three ventura iconic food restaurants and enjoy a great meal worth waiting for every time“

“It was our first time. Me and my husband ordered Salmon roll, Eel Roll, Scallop Roll and miso soup. It was the freshest salmon eel and scallop we have ever had! The rolls are 4 pcs but they are HUGE and packed with seafood so it was worth it! The miso is the best miso we’ve ever had as well!“

Although everything I’ve ordered here has been excellent, my very favorites are the Avocado Bomb (the best I’ve ever had) and the Sushi House Roll. “Maggies has been our family go to for mexican food for I dont even know how many years now. Their carne asada, bean rice & cheese burrtitos are favs but corn burritos are too. Its a toss up at times lol so we sometimes get the asada burrito + corn burritos & share.
Hot sauce could make anything taste good haha because its so tasty with just the right amt of heat

“I have visited The Cave twice, a week apart. The first time was for a wine pairing dinner, which we did with another couple. There were 5 courses (appetizer, salad, two entree courses, and dessert) and each dish was delicious. We decided to return a week later to see if it would be as good for just an ordinary night out. The restaurant was not too busy (it was a Tuesday) but each of the dishes we enjoyed was well prepared and very good. We ordered the Macadamia Crusted Salmon, a chicken special stuffed with goat cheese and spinach, and another chicken dish. The restaurant is attached to a wine shop, and if you don't want to sample wines by the ounce or order wine off the restaurant list, you can go into the shop and choose from literally hundreds of wines at all price points and then bring the bottle into the restaurant where they will serve the wine for a very minimal ($10) corkage fee. Done be put off by its location in an industrial park. This place is a gem! Inside it looks like a wine cave and they usually have some quiet live music at dinner time. This is definitely one of the better dinner spots in Ventura!“

Chips and salsa to start. The salsa is pretty good, and has a nice spice to it. The chips seemed typical tortilla chips.

The fajita trio was served up warm and looked really fresh, the colors of everything were very appealing. Tasting the fajitas confirmed that they were light and fresh as they looked. There really wasn't much in the seasoning added, so it really was ‘au natural’ and simple. It worked well on this dish with the fresh vegetables. The tortillas were typical, nothing special to say about these. I did enjoy the beans and cheese, mashed up nicely and tasted great.

Overall, a nice place to stop for Mexican food. Not a lot of spices added to the food here, but you can count on the freshness.“
