“We had a GREAT experience here. We got off the boat after spending a full day at Channel Islands NP and walked in here to order take out. The server was so friendly and accommodating, offering us a cold beverage while we waited. She was excellent with taking our order, noting my partners food allergy with respect. The food was fast and super hot. Even after the 15 min drive back to the hotel the orange chicken was crispy and both entrees were hot and delicious. Just an awesome experience from service to food. Would love to stop back by if we’re in the area again!“

“After over thirty years of dining at arts Carrie never had a bad meal and the people were always the best at what they do there’s three places in town that are the top three for a place to eat and enjoy the best staff that’s always been art’s corner cafe Pete’s breakfast snd two tress restaurant and even though art’s corner cafe is no longer owned by art the boys who own two trees hxx as ve done an awesome job at opening two trees across the street from where I’ve lived for over thirty years but when they opened it was good at best but the boys improved there service there food evolved and became of the best in taste snd quality and nis they own arts cafe now and have kept up there reputation of great food and great service and woukd recommend putting your name down in any of these three ventura iconic food restaurants and enjoy a great meal worth waiting for every time“

“Great experience we had here. The salsa is my favorite and the menudo was just perfect. Plenty of flavor in the menudo with room to add salt for those needing more. Protein is plentiful and the portions are generous.

Customer service rocked. The ladies table touched and seemed genuinely inquisitive about our experience.

Our only regret is not coming sooner as we drive past those locations frequently and have never stopped by.

Lucky for us this place is close to home and will be one of our next favorite spots.

We can’t wait to return. I highly recommend this place to you and your family when craving authentic Mexican food.

“Maggies has been our family go to for mexican food for I dont even know how many years now. Their carne asada, bean rice & cheese burrtitos are favs but corn burritos are too. Its a toss up at times lol so we sometimes get the asada burrito + corn burritos & share.
Hot sauce could make anything taste good haha because its so tasty with just the right amt of heat
Easy location & staff are always so nice. Our family loves their food so much we even used them for catering my sons rehearsal dinner😁“

“Need a great tasting soup? You might want to try this place!! We got the tom yum seafood soup (flavors of tangy lemon citrus w/ fresh ginger and savory garlic). Only thing was the last bit of broth was too rich for my taste but I know some people who would love and prefer this.
The shrimp wonton soup was my fave. Both soups were a 5/5. We also enjoyed the noodles!!!

I’ve been here a few times, one of which I ordered online and when I came to pick it up, they were actually closed for construction. The cashier, who I’m assuming was the manager, was very apologetic and offered to call in my order at a restaurant nearby. But I had a migraine and honestly just wanted to go home. Today I came in to pick up dinner, and he insisted that it was on him!! So not necessary, but so kind. <3

“It was our first time. Me and my husband ordered Salmon roll, Eel Roll, Scallop Roll and miso soup. It was the freshest salmon eel and scallop we have ever had! The rolls are 4 pcs but they are HUGE and packed with seafood so it was worth it! The miso is the best miso we’ve ever had as well!“

“My husband and I visited Lester family wines for the first time and was completely impressed by the wines. We liked each wine we tried which is rare for us but truly very nice wines. The crust is perfect every time, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and they nail the balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Every bite is delicious! All their other food is amazing. The dressings are so flavorful, their sandwiches are great, and the lasagna is delicious! But honestly, the pizza is the star of the show!! You can’t go wrong with anything there.
