“Great spot, minutes from the beach! They have an Amazing extensive menu! An easy walk from the Ventura Beach hotel! They even accommodated the vegetarian with several vegetarian rolls options! The tempura vegetable roll was the best. They also serve beer and wine. My Sauvignon Blanc paired perfectly with the heat of the wasabi! They have several options of Japanese beer! We also got the shishito peppers, edamame and the avocado bombs were a hit! I will absolutely be back the next time we are in town!Vegetarian options: There are several options to choose from! “We came for a birthday dinner so we were a large group. Once we were seated, our server took our drink orders. But it took a bit longer for the server to take our meal order. Once our chef arrived then the night became exciting and entertaining. The freshly made food tasted delicious. At the end of the dinner, a server offered to take our picture and had it printed within minutes.“

“I had a great experience, stopping by around lunch time. The young lady who took my order was attentive, offered great recommendations and had an awesome vibe and attitude. I ordered the Sweet Heart rolls and found them delicious and filling. I ordered a Benito box to go. Parking may be difficult if there are a lot of people, but I had an overall satisfying experience and would recommend it.“
“We just started coming here. Really like the food a lot. Volcano roll is great, as is garlic albacore. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They loaded up a miso soup with extra tofu for my 3 year old who loves just the tofu out of the soup. It's a strange request that they had no trouble helping out with. My daughter chose Kibo as her reward for straight A's.“
“I got the lunch bento with katsu and spicy tuna roll. Everything had a delicious flavor, the rice was perfect, and the salad was fresh. My wife is vegetarian and the chef made her an awesome tofu hot stone bowl. The chef was really talented, helpful, and fast. We’ll definitely be returning.“
“Theres a reason why this place is always busy. Its always fresh, good rolls, good combos/specials. I always pick up lunch here. They have the best lunch specials plus the price is amazing. Usually get the chirashi bowl or sushi lunch special D with tempura or sushi lunch special C w/ spicy tuna. Always have to tell them to leave out the furikake on the rice in the chirashi because it makes it so much more salty and ruins it. Also have to make sure it's D as in dog not b as in boy for the sushi lunch special because they keep messing it up on that too . They also have korean chirashi (hwae dup bap) but always remember to ask for the sauce on the side or else they can put too much. ? Also, Always check the food if they got it right when ordering TOGO, and if they added Wasabi and ginger because they often forget! Which I can't eat sushi without my wasabi!! Then I get mad! Other than that, I have to say this is the best sushi place in all of Ventura.“

“It was very good and I enjoyed everything I had to eat which included 4 shared rolls and a bento box with pork cutlet which was exceptional. I was disappointed to find no "real" crab of any kind on the menu. If I'm going to have crab in sushi it needs to be real or just avoid those rolls all together, which we did. What we ordered was good.“
“Stopped by here today for their lunch special. The food had so much flavor, but the only thing I wish was different was the temperature of their soup. I love my soups piping hot especially on a rainy day and my soup was just warm, but not hot. I ordered their basil feel lunch special, my hubby ordered their garlic chicken special and my kids split their stir fry chicken lunch special. They all come with a side of rice, soup and a salad. The service was excellent. We ordered their mango with sticky rice for dessert, it was so yummy! The lady that waited on us didn't speak a lot of English, but good enough that we could communicate with her. The restaurant is small and it was a little busy today, but we still were able to get a comfortable booth. I think it was a good deal for all of the delicious food we got. We'll be back soon.“
