About Gotetsu - Kushiyaki and Sake House

Gotetsu - Kushiyaki and Sake House is a captivating culinary destination, offering an intimate dining experience. The knowledgeable owner presents beautifully crafted skewers, salads, and small plates, including handmade pan-fried gyoza and wagyu yaki. Customers can enjoy a selection of Japanese beers, such as Suntory nama beer and Asahi nama beer, to complement their meal. The attentive staff ensures a unique and satisfying experience, leaving diners full and eager to return.

The restaurant is praised for its authentic izakaya-style atmosphere, with great skewers and Sapporo draft beer. The chef, referred to as the "Master," is noted for being friendly and willing to converse in Japanese, which is highly appreciated by customers. While the prices may be higher than a genuine izakaya in Japan, the restaurant provides a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine in the American setting.

The menu offers a variety of unique and tasty choices, including shiitake mushrooms, green bean plate, rib eye with crispy onion, chicken with plum sauce and shiso, and chicken with cod roe. Customers also recommend the pork belly and beef options, as they are made with premium cuts. The restaurant's small size and counter-style seating create a lively and engaging atmosphere, allowing diners to watch the crew skillfully grill the delectable skewers.
