Anyone wants suntory nama beer and asahi nama beer? The last time I had sundtory draft beer was back in Osaka.I bet you can’t find anything like this near.Hand made pan fried gyoza and wagyu yaki?You have to stop by to experience.Give thanks to hard works.

Wanted ramen but wasn’t aware ramen is a special. Went to the door to see a sloppy paper sign saying 30$ a person minimum, but looked inside to see one person there during prime dinner hour on a Saturday night. Most of their menu is very much less than 10$ so idk what kind of buffet meal they think I’m going to go in and having.Lady sees us outside and peaks her head out and we say we’re not sure yet cause we just want ramen which is less than 30$ - she says “we don’t have ramen sorry” in a rude and unwelcoming tone. So we ditched.Figure out a better business model and find more hospitable people.

My SO and I love this place. It's authentic and has great vibes. The chefs and owner are all kind and super friendly. My SO loves coming here for their specials (she loved the ramen nights) but they seem to do them way less frequently now (or shes having a harder time seeing the special nights on their instagram). Dont let that convince you that this place is bad! The skewers and other small dishes are all great. It's a great place to get some sake and authentic Japanese bar food that reminds me of our time in Japan. It can be pricey depending on what you order and there is such a wide selection. However, we can honestly say that we've been here dozens of times and everything has been great so far. Highly recommend!

Make sure you book a reservation because they are a bit shorthanded (it appeared to be 3 total staff members running the whole restaurant!)Food- 4 starsOrdered the chicken skin, shiitake mushroom, Japanese eggplant, rib eye, chicken thigh with leak, squid and an assortment of specials. I liked the rib eye, chicken skin, and chicken thigh the most. The food was mostly overcooked but salted perfectly (the staff did seem overwhelmed).They had Asahi, Sapporo and Suntory draft available, so it was great to have them along with our yakitori mealService- 5 starsThe staff were attentative as they can be, as they appeared understaffed. Really appreciate all the hard work they put inBottom LineBook a reservation even during weekdays. It's awesome to have a yakitori spot in Ventura and don't have to drive too far if you have a craving.

Great food and friendly service. The only seating area available is in the back patio (next to the alley way), which can only seat about 5-6 tables. It was very busy right when they opened but we ended up being the only table after 7:30 pm. Making a reservation is probably a good idea. I'd definitely come back as everything we ordered was tasty!

Amazing and authentic Japanese bar food! Everything I’ve tried from here has been delicious. The owner and staff are very friendly and will answer questions about the menu. I’ve been here with good sized groups and they’re accommodating. The only downside is the order system is kind of confusing (maybe a checklist sheet would work better?). Definitely go to this place!

Fab food, small bites, great for sharing, delish everything! Delightful, creative, eclectic soundtrack, tinier than hell! You won’t get in if you go during peak hrs - all of the staff & the owner are wonderful & treat us great! This is NOT fast food & note that some comments complain… don’t let those comments sway you. Figure out what you want, enter via your phone & deliciousness starts hitting the table - good for sharing. We take every overnight guest to this place & they’ve all fallen in love with it. Highly recommend!
