Koba Sushi Reviews
This place reminded us of a Omakase right out of Japan. The staff was really nice and answered any questions. The fish was fresh and very really good. Cold beer and great vibes. Would recommend 100 percent.
Toshi San is my G.O.A.T.
It was our first time. Me and my husband ordered Salmon roll, Eel Roll, Scallop Roll and miso soup. It was the freshest salmon eel and scallop we have ever had! The rolls are 4 pcs but they are HUGE and packed with seafood so it was worth it! The miso is the best miso we’ve ever had as well!

Koba Sushi is a cozy and inviting restaurant serving authentic and fresh sushi. The owners and staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. Known for its unique old-school true Japanese sushi experience, Koba Sushi is a standout in Ventura. The food is fabulous and plentiful, with fresh ingredients that keep the dishes mostly true to Japan, as they don’t overuse spice or cream cheese. The service is lovely and helpful, making each visit enjoyable. While it may be on the pricier side, the quality of the sushi makes it worth it. The restaurant is small and has few seats, so it fills up quickly, and customers are advised to arrive early since it does not take reservations. There is no parking lot available, but street parking is an option.
