No American style rolls here. Most authentic sushi I've had in Ventura. Fresh fish. I especially enjoyed the blue crab handroll on the specials board. It's a little small inside, so there's a high possibility of having a wait.
Just wow. Hands down, the best sushi spot in Ventura and definitely in my top 3 of all time. The quality and atmosphere is right up there with Sushi Bar at a fraction of the price. It's a total hole-in-the-wall, and it's notoriously difficult to get a table; it took me and my husband 4 attempts before finally squeezing in but it was well worth the wait. In my top 3 sushi places in ventura (Seaward sushi, Banzai Marina, and now Koba sushi). This restaurant is a smaller place that is cozy and inviting. It's a more traditional sushi restaurant that serves the freshest sushi! The staff was very nice and friendly. The place was spotless and pleasant to be in. And the food was delicious! It is pricey bit worth it. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants quality sushi (and sake)!
