Had an amazing experience at Maki Sushi! The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. The staff were also outstanding—friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi in Ventura! 🍣😊

Maki Sushi Ventura is a nice place with excellent sushi. The vibe is relaxed, especially if you grab a seat on the patio, which has a nice setup with an ocean breeze. The restaurant was well maintained and not packed, with a good amount of people, meaning the fish was moving. All the fish was delicate and melted in the mouth. The sushi rolls were well balanced, and the presentation was clean. Specific meals mentioned include big scallops, which were delicious, the Pink Cadillac, a spicy yellowtail roll, beef udon, a baked salmon roll, and a hotpot. The baked salmon roll was the best, and the hotpot was savory with perfect noodles. The oysters were a nice surprise, super fresh and nicely plated. Service is friendly and attentive without hovering, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. The food is amazing, with great quality and perfect portions. It is a little expensive, but that is what you pay for really good sushi. The price is very good as well, especially during weekday happy hour. It is a dependable spot in Ventura for good food and a chill atmosphere.
