“Great food great staff great all around fun place“
“Only one pool table, so for me that was a strike right there. My first time there I noticed that the bartender took care of all the ppl she recognized before I got to place my drink order. I didn't see any food being offered , but there was a great band from LA playing Rock-a-billy\\ pulp fiction type music that were really good. Last call was at least 1 hour early and they closed early even thoughit was Saturday night and the place was packed. 12:30 instead of 2am. So that was not good , especially if your the owner. Otherwise for a small neighborhood bar it was ok.“

“Stopped by Mystic Water Kava Bar in Ventura and had my first kava experience—definitely something different and really enjoyable. The kava was smooth, relaxing, and had a nice calming vibe to it. You can feel it working without being overwhelming—just a chill, stress-free feeling.
The atmosphere here is super cool—laid back, welcoming, and a great place to unwind or just hang out. Staff was friendly and made it easy for a first-timer to understand what to order. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I want something different than the usual bar scene.
If you’re in Ventura and looking to relax, this is worth checking out.

“When I used to frequent this place, the aspect that I truly appreciated was the speedy service they offered, especially when compared to other establishments. It was often quite challenging to have drinks promptly served elsewhere. Moreover, one of the highlights of visiting this bar was the engaging nature of the customers. They enjoyed interacting with me, striking up conversations, and creating a lively atmosphere“

“This place is a gem. If you want a total bowling alley nostalgia experience complete with furniture etc this is the place for you. This is a legit bowling alley without all the fluff. You want a good time with your adult friends away from screaming kids and flashing lights. This is the place for you. Don't forget your bowl cut, baseball tee, and short shorts.“
