“Vegan and vegetarian options. Yay. They have a gluten-free bread unfortunately it's not vegan. Olives and radishes are brought to each table along with bread at dinner time The dinner menu upstairs and down in the garden is the same. It's very expensive as one appetizer can be $29. Food was good but I ate better for a third of the price in Italy last week. Our bill before tip was about $350. That was one appetizer, one side, three main courses , a dessert, (assuming one was comped for birthday) two drinks and a glass of wine The garden setting is magical and I love the table we had for three. It's wonderful that they have a musician playing the guitar and singing songs outside as you enter. The music wafts into the seating area but not too loud just perfect The ranch is magical. The service was excellent The smoked table side drinks were more about the experience versus having a different taste When they brought the balsamic vinegar, that we had asked for, it was dripping down the side so it stains tablecloth immediately. Quite messy I would recommend they put it on a small plate. I come here for the ambience.“
“I go often, great location, inexpensive in a higher priced neighborhood, rarely a easier, lots of live music in summer.Update 2/22: I still like this restaurant. I have been a regular for five or six years and even used their services to cater parties at my house. The fajitas are great and my wife and I split them. It comes with four tortillas. But tonight when I needed one or two more, I was given a side order and charged $4.50. That's ridiculous! That's $1.25 for each small 6 inch flour tortilla. It's bad enough that over the years they have reduced the size of the bowl of chips they give you and now no longer allow you to go to the salsa bar to refill your salsa even when your order takes a while. These are good ways for Los Arroyos to drive me away! Keep it up and you will lose me as a customer!UPDATE 3/2023I still enjoy going though don't go as often. Service is great, food is okay not great but not bad. Was introduced this time to Virgin Margaritas which are delicious and I will have them again! Was a bit noisy on the bar side but the round tables at the back make for easy conversation.“
“I am giving this place 5 stars for the EXCELLENT SERVICE - the server was awesome and so helpful and accommodating. We had a great experience here. My husband loved his entree- pork shank recommended by the server. HUGE and delicious with homemade tortillas - YUM. Everything was fresh and delicious for him. Fantastic Margarita - my favorite item here along with the salsas from the salsa bar. So my only wish is that there were more vegetarian options. The rice has chicken broth :( so I couldn't do my favorite rice and beans combo. That being said, they did have a nice veggie beans option. I would go back again for the great service, yummy margaritas and salsas either way.“
“Dined there twice. Both times were excellent. The menu has a good variety of food choices and prices. The service is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is upscale and welcoming. Give yourself a treat for a special occasion or anytime dinner.“
“This is quite possibly, not only the best restaurant in Santa Barbara, but possibly anywhere. The food, the artwork, the drinks, service, the management, the host, the bus boys.... Everything about this place is perfection. The manager Sam, makes sure everything is on point! A well run establishment that I can't say enough good things about. Ask for Jay the server, he's top notch.“
“We happened to be in town for their 1 year anniversary. Im not sure if the menu was different for this event but everything we had was worth ordering again. Ordered the Oaxacan old fashioned which was very strong! Really good but strong! Hubby ordered the ah huevo which let me tell you was amazing! The flavors and aromatics were on point. So good that I traded with hubby and ordered two more rounds of this. I really hope this drink is on their regular menu! Oysters were on the menu so why not?! There were 2 kinds so we ordered 4 of each which were topped with a house mignonette and micro cilantro. These oysters were incredible! The simple dressing over fresh oysters were amazing. We ended up ordering more because they were that good. Service was great, such a friendly cozy vibe. Small dark bar with few seating but worth it if you can get a seat. Will definitely be back.“
“Zaytoon was really delicious Lebanese food. The place is tucked away near Mission Santa Barbara, up a small staircase, and in a small, White House. They have limited seating inside but it was enough to sit for an early Saturday dinner. There is also a patio area outside where you could eat but it was rainy. We ordered the: - Combo kebabs- comes with 1 lamb, 1 chicken and 1 beef kebab along with a small fatoosh salad and rice pilaf. We substituted for 2 chicken and 1 beef. All meats were super juicy, although my companion preferred more spices on the chicken. Salad was excellent. - Pistachio spread - must order. It was so creamy. Love the pomegranates on top. - Side of pita- which costs extra, 2 full, warm pitas cut in half. Total bill came up to $60 not including tip. Service was attentive and pleasant. Parking is available on the street for 90 minute parking except Sundays which is unlimited. I'd come back again if I were in the area.“
“The food is basic German sausages, German potato salad very simple food and usually very good, service has been great but the atmosphere is something of a throwback and really brings together the entire experience to make it a one of a kind and I try to go at least once a month if not twice.Don't forget to grab a couple beers from there extensive list!“
“This is such a lovely little spot to sit out on the patio and enjoy some good food and drink. I would say you'll need to go multiple times to try everything. We did have one issue with a cocktail we had ordered, but other than that, it was all great. Will be returning, for sure.“
“Bartender was really nice. they have random games and a machine for tunes options are a little small in terms of drinks and the place is a little small but it's a lot of fun and the pool games are only $1.50 takes quarters over all a fun place I will definitely come back and if you're in carp looking for place to drink and play pool this is the place“
“Good service, fast as well, and the restaurant very nice and intimate. Tried the French Dip Au Jus, bread was good but the meat too undercooked. French fries were good and crispy. Ding's Crispy chicken sandwich was amazing , overall my favorite. The macho salad was good as well.“
“I came here for the first time the other weekend and loved it! There are a few parking spots in the back and on the street. There is outdoor and indoor seating at their bar. Great for warm sunny days but they also have outdoor heaters. My friend and I sat at the bar after ordering from Dang Burger and were helped by Miranda. Miranda was so kind and helpful. We had questions about their red wines and she helped us pick the perfect one to order. You get a generous pour in a beautiful glass which made me so happy. I was also impressed by the variety of beverages they have. There are two refrigerators with different alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Just a great place to come and chill.“
“This is one of my favorite bars in SB. Such a cool place. It's a great place to hang out and grab some drinks. Bring cash though, no credit cards. They also have a pool table which is a nice feature. And plenty of couches. Lots of couches. The back patio is really nice as well. Never have tried the food. Parking can be a little slim on de la guerra, but try and find something on one of the neighborhood side streets if you can. The bartenders are very friendly. And if you don't drink they have plenty of non-alcoholic options.“
“We had the BEST time here celebrating my niece's 21st birthday!! Food was great, ambience was great, drinks were great AND the staff is great! Kathy, Colleen and Megan were so fun and so sweet!!! Thank you for making our night perfect!“
“We came across Los Arroyos while walking downtown and it's always hard for us to pass up Mexican food so we stopped. We were greeted by several employees as we entered, handed a menu and we ordered. Great selection on the menu and also at the salsa bar. It's self seating and there are plenty of tables/booths, it was busy when we arrived but were served quickly and the food was great. Nothing better than homemade tortillas with your fajitas! The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and we definitely recommend a meal here if you're in the area. We parked nearby on the street but there are many parking structures in the area and Los Arroyo's is just a few feet off of State Street, very easy to find. Enjoy!“
“Came on a stormy weeknight, so it wasn't crowded. We were seated quickly. Service was direct and simple -- never overbearing. Thank goodness. The chicken shawarma plate was highly recommended and it was 10/10 -- mostly because the garlic sauce was the best I've ever had. The eggplant falafel plate was also delicious, though I prefer the chicken shawarma. I like that the falafel are a smaller size -- tastes better this way for some reason. We added a side of pickled radish and the pita bread and glad to have those added to the meals. It costs extra, but the meals felt incomplete without them. This is a nice informal date spot or a nice place for a family dinner. We will return!“
“This place is on W micheltorena near super cucas. Really cool spot. Strongggg drinks, so be careful. They have a pool table which is nice and the bartender is friendly. Great place to hang out with friends. Check them out next time you're on the west side.Parking: easy parking“
“Such a beautiful spot by the beach. The indoor seating is still very nice, but the outdoor view is beautiful, especially on a nice, warm day. The food is very good, I've been here for both Brunch and dinner. You can't go wrong with any of the items. Only reason I give them 4 stars, is I wish their plates had a bit more flavor. Service is always quick and helpful.“
