Very good food had a very good experience
Good Chili Verde! Enjoyed our first time dining there. Everyone was friendly.
Not enough staff to cover it all. Customers left as they weren't helped quickly enough. It's not always like this. Tough day.

Delgado's Mexican Restaurant is a family run joint and hometown favorite in Carpinteria, considered a hidden gem and the best place in Carp for a Mexican food fix. The food is excellent, amazing, and on point every time, with large menu options. Reviewers specifically recommend the Chili Verde Burrito, Crunchy Chicken Tacos, Fajitas, salads, shrimp soft tacos, and an off-menu item called the Chingadera. The free chips and spicy salsa are also frequently praised. The service is incredible, stellar, fast, and very inviting, with a friendly, local vibe. The team handles busy times well, even when the restaurant is a full house. Their Midweek Lunch Specials offer great value. The bartender knows how to make great margaritas, including Skinny Margaritas and a guava margarita.
