“Their deli is a hidden gem.A friend recently tried their jam packed classic Italian sub and it looked so good I had to try it myself.I never even knew this deli existed.Jim happily welcomed my family for the 1st time and was kind enough to let us sample some of their fresh homemade bread and a hot calabrese that I might like in my sub.Sandwich itself was both delicious & stuffed with a heaping portion of ingredients like peppers, provolone and more. (Best part is whatever you like they’ll find a recommendation fit for you in a sandwich)Definitely would be back ??“
“Got the street taco combo. The Carnitas taco was off the charts as was the chicken. The fish in the fish taco was a little bland. The fish itself didn’t have much flavor. Drinks were really good. Atmosphere was great as was the service! Looking forward to going back there.“
“Hidden hideouts are the best finds! This little bar tucked away off of the 101 in Camarillo was not to be missed! Friendly bar tended by Rick and 6 TVs for all sorts viewing!! “Stopped in here with friends before our festivities for the day started. We got greeted with menus right away and placed our order relatively quick. Got some alcohol and a few appetizers just to hold us over before trying one of the local food spots around town. Our waitress was attentive and friendly which is great in these types of establishments. A sports bar with lots of TVs around and seating. They have a full bar and a menu with lots of bar food to choose from. However how and why were there kids in a bar?? Couldn't have an actual convo with each other with these kids yelling and running around. People come here to relax and enjoy there time especially on a Sunday afternoon. Ya, it may get rowdy at times when the games are on, but kids in a bar.. really?“
“We had a great time at Cabo's on our Anniversary Day. We both wanted to try it after a few recommendations and the fact that I used to work in that building in the late 70s when it was a Sizzler Steak House Restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was awesome. We had appetizers as well as our meal and ended it with dessert. They all came out in a timely manner. I would go again!“
“My experience was Amazing! Food was delicious.. Got the $10 Lunch Combo with the Chicken Ranch Quesadilla. Side Salad. and ordered Chips and Guac enough to bring some home to snack on. My server Jen was absolutely Fantastic. Her Energy was great her kindness and efficiency to me and to all who she was tending to. “Came on a Saturday night for a karaoke date with the boyfriend and thought this was a totally cute spot! 20 or so beers on tap and I was stoked to see they had two sours! Really enjoyed the Strawberry Province. Bartenders were really sweet and knowledgeable about their beers. We were served by Hannah who was super friendly. Would definitely come back! Side note: Karaoke only on Saturdays.“
“Just a cool spot. Pool tables, dart boards, outside patio, great drinks, great people.... a neighborhood bar that welcomes everyone. Also, dart tournaments. You may have to be pretty good to win, but everyone is invited to join. Good drinks, good people, good times.Parking: The lot isn't real big, but there's lots of street parking right out front. I've never had any issue parking.“
“We went to the Yard House last Friday, (first time in a very long time) and I want to tell you that our experience was saved by our server Jason. We ordered a beer and a Mai Tai. You could tell that the Mai Tai is probably not ordered often there (being that they specialize in their tap beers) it wasn't very good, and it wasn't in a very nice presentation glass either. We told our server, who was quick to repace it for us. We went on to place our Dinner order. My husband ordered a Pasta dish with LOBSTER (sorry, I don't know the menu name) anyway it was a spaghetti or linguine type of pasta with what looked like a light tomato sauce, with an 'additional' Caesar Salad.I ordered a Stacked Turkey Club and fries. The food was slow coming out but we were enjoying our evening out. While looking around we noticed that it wasn't overly busy and there was certainly 'not' a shortage of staff working the floor. When our meal was served it came with the Salad and we realized that it hadn't come out prior to the meal, had we noticed we would have brought it to Jason's attention. So my husband started on the pasta right away - leaving the Salad alone so that he could enjoy the Pasta while it was hot and fresh. It was too late - it was already cold and disappointing. Again, Jason was very helpful and gave us the utmost of professional service. We were very pleased with the rest of the food we ordered, but I want to stress that it was Jason's superior service that will bring us/me back to the Restaurant. Addtionally - I want to say that I know mistakes happen and that things can go wrong in the kitchen, But, if you have it on your menu- you should be able to prepare and serve it properly.Thanks again Jason ?♀️“

“We ordered tons of food in celebrating a birthday. Overall service was great especially for our large and chatty table lol! Had lots of apps that by the time our meal came, we couldn't finish it all. They did great when it came to signing happy birthday and we enjoyed our time catching up with family. All the food looked very appetizing, just as pictured. The waitstaff did amazing servicing food to everyone as well and refilling drinks as needed.“
“We had the chicken quesadilla Mole estilo Guanajuato, Tamarindo agua fresca and Jamaica agua fresca a michelada and churro ice cream for dessert. The mole sauce tasted a bit bitter, the aguas frescas were refreshing with just the right amount of sugar, the michelada was on pointe! the churro was served hot ? with a cinammon coating and glazed ice cream. The server was super friendly and attentive. No waiting which was awesome because we were hungry. “B I G shoutout to Melissa L. for putting The Local on my radar. This bar is tucked away in an unassuming shopping plaza in a quiet neighborhood, but once you walk in, you know you're in for a good time. I've always been a fan of dive bars and have been to quite a few, but this bar stands out in so many great ways. Right after walking in, you can see that The Local has so many locals -- everyone knows everyone and is having a great time. The atmosphere is lively, fun, and welcoming to anyone new. Not only does The Local have great beer on tap, they also specialize in craft cocktails! There's a variety to choose from, they all look beautiful, and I'd say they'd rival high-end bars. I've tried a few, and as a non Whiskey drinker, I was surprised to say Honey 4 my Honey is my favorite so far. All of the bartenders I've met so far are awesome, especially Victor and Jen. They are great at what they do and they have fun banter with the locals. Even the owner, Mikey, takes time to chat and is so passionate about his bar. The last thing that makes The Local my go-to bar now is that it is c l e a n! I love that I can walk around without having my shoes stick to the floor and that I can actually use the restroom when I need to. If you've ever been to even one dive bar, you'd know what I mean. Besides the above, they have a must-have pool table and a few other table games. While the actual bar isn't too big, I can see it getting packed, so if you're planning a visit with a larger group, plan ahead to snag a table and I'll see ya there! *Hot tip: while there isn't food served here, you can order food delivered to The Local and enjoy it there!“
