“We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday last night at Ottavios. We have had prior celebrations in the past, 44 years ago we had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there ! The back private room is so nice to have a dinner party! We were allowed to arrive early and decorate. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and huge portions! The service was excellent! I highly recommend Ottavios if you are looking for the perfect dinner party location!”

“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? Or if they carry on the excellence, always model from it being an early military insulation moons and moons ago! But it works! You place your order before you're even seated and pay right away. Then you have many opportunities for seating. You can go outside and observe the plans and helicopters up close and personal on the top deck. Or there are several covered see through patios. Each is well heated and ventilated. Or you can snuggle inside in a booth or at a table with friends. You will find plenty of staff who check in on you, and are constantly on the move, providing exceptional, high quality customer service. It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. So check out this community treasure whenever you're in Ventura County! You will not be disappointed but will find a home away from home.”

“Had a great experience at Lure Fish House. We ordered the mahi ceviche, spaghetti with mussels in a creamy wine sauce, and the lobster ravioli — and everything was excellent.
The ceviche was fresh and perfectly balanced, the pasta with mussels was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious. You can really tell they focus on quality ingredients and proper execution.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made it a very enjoyable meal. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.”

“What a wonderful dining experience. Bee was our amazing server and host and she provided stellar service as did the chefs who were very kind and friendly. We started with drinks and soups. My wife had the hot and sour with tofu and I had the wonton with chicken. So yummy! We then ordered our entrees with beef with vegetables and Kung pao chicken. Both entrees came with rice and the dishes were plentiful and delicious. We took half of it home for tomorrow. Great place with a positive vibe and ambiance.

We loved that it was fine dining but provided both an elegant atmosphere indoors and a more casual atmosphere out on the patio. The bruschetta and fried calamari appetizers were fantastic. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!”

The service is good, they are attentive. We placed an online order and ordered 20oz horchata, we noticed it wasn’t filled all the way but we didn’t make much fuss to them but we just briefly commented amongst ourselves. Went we went out the door then one of the staff members chased us out to the parking lot and gave us a small cup of Horchata. They go above and beyond to satisfy you!! Keep up the good work! :)”

“We’re new to the area & we love small businesses! I was able to walk in and order a pizza with a small 15 minute wait. Front desk was super friendly. I ordered a family meal that was advertised on their website in the coupons section and paid 37.99 for a large 1 topping pizza, spaghetti, garlic bread and a family size salad. It fed my family of 4 with leftovers. It’s conveniently located near CVS & Vons so while we waited for our pizza we walked to pick up a few things. Everything was bagged perfectly and made it warm by the time we got home. We will be regular customers!”

“My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.”

“I love the Westlake location so while in Camarillo for dinner with a friend I recommended Finneys. Whenever I visit the Cali this is on my list of top restaurants. This location is just as nice with indoor/outdoor seating but much larger.

The service and food were both good both good and consistent with the other location. I like that they offer many gluten friendly options so I am not limited to grilled chicken and salad (but they have that too). My must have is the buffalo cauliflower.....SO GOOD!”

The hash browns were so delicious- crispy on outside- moist in the middle! The Rye bread was his favorite though. It was thick and looked homemade! All around a wonderful place to have any meal. “I've been driving by that Sushi Planet sign on the 101 as long as I can remember... At least 26 years, and I've never stopped in, until now!

After a long trash weekend my wife and I stopped by on a Sunday for a good meal and a rise in spirits and Sushi Planet delivered.

The space is cozy and appropriately dim, with cool trimmings like dark painted wood and decor that give it a Japanese architecural vibe insie. A lot of the staff was speaking Japanese to each other too I believe. There was moderate volume kpop and jpop music playing in the fairly busy dining room for a late lunch or early dinner. The staff was perfectly friendly and we got a comfy table, got drinks, and started our big order.

I got a new special roll, the golden roll I believe, yellowtail Nigiri, sea scallop Nigiri, a California roll order and for dessert some seaseme chicken. The special roll was delicious, hearty, creamy, rich, and warm with a great contrast of textures. The Nigiri was above average with the yellow tail pierces being much larger than I usually get at other places but still a great texture, flavor, and odor. The sea scallop was savory, slightly salty, and so soft and creamy mixed with the Kewpie. The California roll was very solid and nothing special. The seaseme chicken was hot, crunchy, and not dry or over fried and went great with the sort of honey-mustardy spicy mayo seaseme sauce.

All this with our drinks (3 orders of yellowtail Nigiri augmented cost) came out a little under $100 which is fairly normal and in the mid cost range of sushi spots were we're from. The quality of food and service was lovely and if we're ever passing through again hungry for good sushi we'll be back!”

My personal favorite is the Watermelon Refresher. It's incredibly refreshing, tastes amazing, and is low in calories, which is a huge plus.

“So me and my pals went here on a Sunday because we heard of the all-you-can-eat deal here. I've never been to an Applebee's before this, and you obviously can't turn down an all-you-can-eat! The waitress we had and helped us with service was excellent, she kept it real with us and always updated us on what was going on with our food. The small talks we had were very enjoyable! 10/10 service! As for the all-you-can-eat itself, the riblets were by far the best thing there! I never knew what a riblet was, but I'd definitely eat it because of this experience! The boneless wings were piping hot and reeeeeeally tender, those were definitely worth getting! My only complaint about this was the double-crunch shrimp that they offered with this deal. They definitely weren't crunchy when I got them, they were pretty soggy and lacked much flavor. The cocktail sauce was pretty much what I had to use to salvage this one. I was a little disappointed, but I wont let one thing here change my entire opinion! Service is excellent, the deals here are pretty solid, and most of the dishes they serve are worthwhile!”

“Came in this morning to try the Oreo Dalgona. Was excited because I love Oreos and I love coffee. When I was watching the lady making the drink, I saw she had ran out of Dalgona that’s in the squeeze bottle. Instead of letting me know, she continued to just pour milk into the cup and continue making the drink. The drink had no coffee flavor at all. All I drank was chocolate milk with Oreos in it. Not sure I’ll come back for any drinks here.

“What a nice surprise. I always forget about this location. I'm glad I came here tonight. Came to use my birthday reward but a glitch in the app (actually corporate shady problem...I won't get into it...update: was contacted immediately and the problem was given a more than adequate solution... as a whole this company is solid.... couldn't be happier with the ENTIRE experience now) made it so that the reward wasn't available. However, Alison made my birthday happen. This location not only makes a great sandwich (Kaden rocks)... the customer service is stellar. The restaurant is clean and the work station looked well maintained. You can tell this crew takes pride in their jobs. I will be visiting this location more often.”

“The food here never disappoints, hands down the best Mexican food in camarillo. The young gentleman in his late 20s early 30s which may be the owner is always nice. The other cashiers don't expect anything. The salsa oh boy you're in for a treat. The red sauce is spicy but so flavorful and my wife loves the habanero. Quite honestly they could make millions just selling thier sauce.

Order ahead and use thier website as this place is popular and there is a great reason why. The location is a little challenge to get to but trust me you will not regret the adventure any who my favorite is the Asad burrito. They are always consistent with it and the red salsa takes it over the edge. Ive yet to have a bad food experience there.”

“Stopped in last night to get a protein burrito to go for dinner. The store was clean and the staff professional. I ordered the chicken protein burrito with lite rice and pinto beans. I took it home and it was delicious.

“We had a large catering order of 50 orders, and everything was ready and organized when we arrived! As I was checking the orders, I thought we may be short one spicy chicken sandwich, and I let the employee know. She got one for me right away, and I found out when setting up for the event that I had miscounted. The food was great, and the portions for the large salads and fruits trays were generously portioned, we had plenty of extra! I ordered for our staff training, I’d never yet eaten Chick-fil-A and ate the grilled chicken sandwich, it was delicious! Thank you, Chick-fil-A!”
