“We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday last night at Ottavios. We have had prior celebrations in the past, 44 years ago we had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there ! The back private room is so nice to have a dinner party! We were allowed to arrive early and decorate. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and huge portions! The service was excellent! I highly recommend Ottavios if you are looking for the perfect dinner party location!”

“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. When you pull up, you may notice that the lines may be long, but don't let that hijack your food craving. Stop the car and come on in! They have a fast system, and it works like clock work. I don't know if it's because they are located at the airport where people traditionally need fast service? Or if they carry on the excellence, always model from it being an early military insulation moons and moons ago! But it works! You place your order before you're even seated and pay right away. Then you have many opportunities for seating. You can go outside and observe the plans and helicopters up close and personal on the top deck. Or there are several covered see through patios. Each is well heated and ventilated. Or you can snuggle inside in a booth or at a table with friends. You will find plenty of staff who check in on you, and are constantly on the move, providing exceptional, high quality customer service. It's a pleasant atmosphere for families, friends or individuals. You can even find a seat at the counter and watch the food service in action. “This was the first time we were at the Restaurant. I tried to make reservations and I was told they do not make reservations for a party less than 8 people. The Hostess appeard rather preoccupied and confused. I am a big guy and was seated in a booth that was too small for me, but I managed during the meal. James our server was attentive and very helpful. The food was excellent! I ordered the King Salmon which is sushi grade and I had it cooked medium well. That was perfect. I also had the pineapple coleslaw and the sweet potato fries. My date had the Mahi Mahi with pineapple coleslaw, and N.E. clam chowder. They had a TV on near the Bar area which I could see from my location. I reccomend anyone to this Restaurant.”

“I recently moved to Camarillo and tried this place for the first time this weekend. I'd driven by so many times but never knew it was there. Very small with limited seating inside. There is a nice patio with additional seating outside. I ordered Bánh mì with grilled chicken on a baguette. It was delicious and so reasonably priced. The sandwich was about $11 and lasted 2 meals. The other menu items looked amazing as well, but I'm going to have a hard time not ordering the Bánh mì every time. I will definitely frequent this place in the future.”

I like smoothies but I am not a massive protein person so I definitely see it being more catered to people who need it and extra vitamins! I was surprised to know it’s connected to a gym also. I liked the strawberry shortcake smoothie but like I said the protein kinda gives it that distinct chalk texture. But definitely would reccomend others to try it especially if they need a quick rejuvenator after the gym! 🏋️💪”

So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!”

I had lemon curd pastashio and I understand why it was the one that was almost gone. Amazes balls! Dark chocolate was exactly what you would want if you love chocolate. My son had cookie monster and cherry chip. He loved his and finished my dark chocolate too. I will return before noon to try the affogato. Missing one star, because inside was extremely hot! No AC and not somewhere I'd go in the middle of summer.”

“We’re new to the area & we love small businesses! I was able to walk in and order a pizza with a small 15 minute wait. Front desk was super friendly. I ordered a family meal that was advertised on their website in the coupons section and paid 37.99 for a large 1 topping pizza, spaghetti, garlic bread and a family size salad. It fed my family of 4 with leftovers. It’s conveniently located near CVS & Vons so while we waited for our pizza we walked to pick up a few things. Everything was bagged perfectly and made it warm by the time we got home. We will be regular customers!”

The food never disappoints, especially the lamb — it’s genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly tender and packed with flavor every single time.
I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, and it was phenomenal. The lamb was unbelievably tender — it practically melted in my mouth — and the sauce was bursting with deep, layered flavors. It had that perfect balance of heat, spice, and richness that makes Vindaloo such a standout dish. You can tell it’s been slow-cooked and crafted with care, not rushed or overly oily like you sometimes find elsewhere.
On top of that, the owner is an absolute sweetheart. You can feel her warmth and pride in everything from the food to the atmosphere. She truly deserves a full house every single day — this restaurant is a gem that more people need to know about.”

Jenna the Assistant General Manager came by and welcomed us to assist our amazing server Danielle. Jenna took our drink order and we both decided on the guava margarita 🍹 which was fantastic. We both ordered the chicken bowl with rice, Pico corn, cucumber, avocado and nothing but quality ingredients. Danielle brought out the dishes and was very kind, attentive and professional. Jenna was also quite a wonderful person and very professional, kind and friendly. Kudos to the tag team approach! The food was fresh and tasty and we will certainly be back. A nice selection of craft beers 🍻 Highly recommended.”

“My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.”

“We stopped in at the Peking Inn tonight for dinner. The restaurant was quite busy and appears to be a popular choice for the locals. We were seated at a lovery booth and were brought some nice hot tea by our terrific server, Maddie. Maddie asked if we had any questions about the menu as this was our first time at the restaurant. We asked about the soups and entrees and decided on two cups of egg flower soup with the crispy noodles as our appetizer. We then ordered our entrees with orange chicken and beef and broccoli. Both dishes were very good. Maddie provided excellent service. The ambiance was quite cozy and warm as well. The food was plentiful so we took quite a bit home for tomorrow. We also each had an egg roll which were delicious. Good food and service.

“We really like Bobbi’s ground beef tacos and we get them sometimes once a week and I can barely finish 1 and at 2 I’m pushing it because they’re normally huge. Tonight the tacos we got for takeout were so sparse with ground beef there was literally a tablespoon of ground beef in each taco with a ton of lettuce and a ton of cheese. Six very small, practically meatless tacos for $30. I don’t know why the QC has gone down but I hope I never get another small chintzy taco from Bobbi’s again because after three tacos tonight I’m still starving. I will give them one more chance.”

“Eaten here several times for breakfast. I usually get some sort of omelet with pancakes on the side and it is always very good. Serving staff is great; a consistent good place for breakfast if you can’t make up your mind. Always a good comfort spot for a celebration for my wife or I or if we are going through a bad time like failing a job interview”

“I am a big fan of mexican bread and after trying this place I have found my new favorite place to get bread. I just grabbed a few items to try and each of them were fresh. The churro was fresh from the squeeze, soft yet warm the sugar was perfect and the caramel in it was tasting so fresh. I tried the guava cream fritter and this was so fresh, so creamy, with the jam tasting so fresh and fruity it was amazing. The last one I had was a Mallette and this was the freshest piece of bread that I have had from all of the other Mexican Bread places in the county. It was a thick with the butter n sugar, now the bread was so soft n moist and it was the best that I ever had. I could not say anything bad about this place because everything that they made tasted so good and fresh. I will definitely come by here more often.”

As I was checking the orders, I thought we may be short one spicy chicken sandwich, and I let the employee know. She got one for me right away, and I found out when setting up for the event that I had miscounted. The food was great, and the portions for the large salads and fruits trays were generously portioned, we had plenty of extra! I ordered for our staff training, I’d never yet eaten Chick-fil-A and ate the grilled chicken sandwich, it was delicious! Thank you, Chick-fil-A!”
