“Had a great experience at Lure Fish House. We ordered the mahi ceviche, spaghetti with mussels in a creamy wine sauce, and the lobster ravioli — and everything was excellent.
The ceviche was fresh and perfectly balanced, the pasta with mussels was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious. You can really tell they focus on quality ingredients and proper execution.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made it a very enjoyable meal. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.“

“Latitude 34 is our favorite restaurant (not just in Camarillo). The food is fantastic (lobster bisque, filet mignon, halibut, salmon, ribeye, scallops, sesame ahi, Seabass, Brie chicken, filet mignon bites, chocolate cheesecake are some of our favorites). The servers and the rest of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.“

“My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.“

“I recently had a meal at Kanaloa Seafood, and I’m still thinking about it in the best way. From the start, the place had a really relaxed, coastal vibe that immediately put me in the mood for seafood. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and everything felt easy and comfortable without any rush. The food was the highlight of the whole experience. Everything tasted fresh, and you could really tell the quality of the seafood was top-notch. I ordered a seafood dish with a mix of shrimp and fish, and it was cooked perfectly—flavorful, not over-seasoned, and very satisfying. The sides complemented the main dish really well, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming.
Service was smooth and attentive. Our server checked in just the right amount and made sure we had everything we needed. “Moved to Vegas 25 years ago. Miss 3 things about Oxnard - Family, the beach and Otani’s. Been fortunate to eat in some of the best restaurants in the U.S. I would choose Otani’s Fried Teriyaki Snapper with double rice over any other meal that’s out there. Otani’s was a staple for me growing up and had the fortune of knowing the family. Crave it constantly and go there every day whenever I make it back to town.“

My family and I came to California from Michigan hitting all kinds of different restaurants along the way and to our surprise this food truck destroyed all of the places we stopped at previously. The flavor of the food, the portions, the friendly staff absolutely blew us all away. This is a must stop place if you're in the area! The only negative thing I have to say about this place is the fact that we don't have it back home.“

“Reviews looked good and was not disappointed. I had the Carnitas, which were tasty, and my son had enchiladas, he claimed were very good. The House Margarita was a pleaser, served in a bowl shaped glass. The service was excellent. We were slow to order but our waitress was patient. She didn’t “disappear” when we “needed another minute.” She continued to check on us after to see how we were doing. We were just visiting but I look forward to coming back here again when I’m in the area.“

“A homey restaurant, with the most friendly staff that makes you feel at home, so much so I forgot to take pictures and videos of the place 🤣. The star of the show came right away, the refried beans with the chips and salsa! 🤤🤤🤤. I can't remember the last time something was that good! Plenty of on site parking, handicap ♿️ friendly parking and entrance, lots and LOTS of menu options (including vegan)

“I only got to try them recently due to DoorDash and I have to say I like them way better than the snooty ones at Seafood. Their section is smaller but they are so generous with their portions. There's usually 2 ladies that work behind the counter and they know how to handle orders from the app, updating new items and removing those that are out vs the ones at Seafood are so dang clueless that they usually end up cancelling my orders. I do take my time to pickup the food so I know it'll be ready when I get there. I have returned countless times now, almost at a weekly basis, trying out different dishes and all have been delicious so far. The folks are friendly and take great care of packing the food ❤️“

“We've lived in the Suntree neighborhood in Newbury Park for 23 years, and have really enjoyed food from Sesame Inn (3327 Kimber) recently. \n\nSesame Inn was owned for a long time by Jennifer and Paul, but went through two changes of ownership once they retired. A new couple, Ling and Shao Yung, now own Sesame Inn, and have kept the original recipes. The restaurant is currently carry-out only. Ling handles the phone and Shao Yung runs the kitchen. They're delightful!\n\nWe've ordered most things on the menu (including the "secret" menu), but keep gravitating towards our favorites. We did so again this evening. Whenever we have out-of-town guests that have been here before, they always ask for carry-out from Sesame Inn.\n\n★★★★★ - 5 stars!“

“The tortas de asada and the queso de puerco are amazing! The location was clean, and we didn't have to wait long to get our food. They have the best fresh mango juice and plenty of parking. There are also some beautiful murals inside. We love this place and travel a few hours to get our tortas once a month.“
