Delicious food.
The food at Lalo’s was absolutely amazing—fresh, authentic, and some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Camarillo. Everything we ordered was flavorful, and the ceviche was excellent. The kitchen definitely deserves five stars.

Lalo’s Family Restaurant | Mexican is a must try, family owned and operated since 2016 with locations in Oxnard and Camarillo. The food is delicious, with an extensive menu. The ambience is clean and calm, with upbeat music playing. Meals include Chilaquiles with Chips cooked in Salsa beneath Steak and Eggs, dueling Molcajetes, and Tres Leches as a big slice with a delicate sponge. Tables begin with complimentary Chips plus housemade Salsa. The bar prepares Micheladas, Mojitos and Margaritas. Customer service is the best, offering friendly service and bottomless Coffee refilled rapidly. However, the takeout service is terrible, with missing sauce on an Aztec nopal order and nopal wings given in error. Also, kids are not allowed to eat food from other places inside. Some seats avoid TVs. Overall, the food is good, and the place is popular for lunch, dinner, and weekend breakfast with Pancakes and French Toast.
