“I love the tortilla chips with the salsa the mariachi was really good for the atmosphere horchata was great and for the food I ordered the filet with a side of fries and a salad. Filet was cooked to perfection and the fries delicious they were crunchy and well seasoned. The waiters were really nice and deserve a raise because they were really nice and asking if we needed anything almost every 5 to 10 minutes love the service here and would recommend this to anyone and the price is very affordable. 10/10“

“We just found this amazing eatery in Oxnard by chance. OMG, it was so good! I have been cursed with the capsaicin sensitivity gene, so I can't tolerate the"heat" 🥵 that many other ethnicities can handle in their customary cuisine... dang European ancestry 🫠😆, but I do enjoy things to have seasoning and not taste like cardboard. My husband loves the hot stuff and got it on the side. Too often I end up not being able to eat the food from most taquerias, even after explaining my issues, but not the case here, everything was awesome. The beans are flavorful, soft, & not hard nor mushy. The rice is cooked perfectly, so it was fluffy with a soft mouth feel without being mushy and not a single undercooked grain to break any teeth, as I find all too often. The herbs & veggies are very fresh. They also used red onions instead of white, which also added flavor without the heat that I was so grateful for. The plentiful asada was cooked fresh for your order, no heat lamp nuggets or brown bits here, and tasted great! We happened to just drop in for lunch, had a wonderful conversation with the staff and other customers, and totally enjoyed our excellent meal. They specialize in Ceviche, having won 1st place at the Ceviche Chow Down the last two years, '24 & '25, that's held yearly at the Olivas Adobe. The event raises funds for Mission FISH, a non-profit dedicated to providing fishing therapy trips for Veterans, Active Duty Military, First Responders, and Gold Star Families. Proceeds this year were to support “Operation Anacapa 2025,” Mission FISH’s 10th annual fishing trip that gives over 100 heroes a day of Fishing, Interacting, Sharing & Healing. Great people and excellent food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“

“I have been to the location in SB. Spouse & I were in the mood for some fish & chips. They don't disappoint. The only disappointment was the service, I waited until the 2 young ladies were done talking until they decided to ask if I needed help. No apology. “We had dinner tonight 10/24 @cafe zack. I made reservation for 6 pax. We seated in the patio and it was beautiful. I ordered rack of lamb (forgot to take photo). I ate every bit. We had Ceasar salad and the rest of the group ordered cowboy rib eye and fettuccine seafood curry. We had the desserts. Everything was delicious. It was our first time and cafe zack didn't disappoint us. We definitely comeback on December 26 for my birthday!“

“This was the first time we were at the Restaurant. I tried to make reservations and I was told they do not make reservations for a party less than 8 people. The Hostess appeard rather preoccupied and confused. I am a big guy and was seated in a booth that was too small for me, but I managed during the meal. James our server was attentive and very helpful. The food was excellent! I ordered the King Salmon which is sushi grade and I had it cooked medium well. That was perfect. I also had the pineapple coleslaw and the sweet potato fries. My date had the Mahi Mahi with pineapple coleslaw, and N.E. clam chowder. They had a TV on near the Bar area which I could see from my location. I reccomend anyone to this Restaurant.“

“I found this shop scanning GMaps. But as I was driving thru an industrial park I began to think they led me off course. So it’s where they do most of the mongering but they have a little shop that serves most of the people in the industrial parks and vicinity. It was funny, they called me out for it lol.
But the girl was super nice and helpful and led me to the Fish Tacos. Well worth it. Light bread in, good crisp and flavor. I would def come back but it’s a lunch spot for the locals. Don’t let that scare you away.“

“Great views , good food! Casual place. \n\nWe wanted to eat by the water. We sat inside but there is also outside seating. \n\nHusband had Ahi sandwich and it was cooked rare, and he said it was good. It was pretty big with fries! I had shrimp and crab quesadillas, they were served with an avocado cream sauce over it and a large scoop of shredded cabbage. Delicious! (2 could split it) \n\nFull bar available too! Place your order and you get a beeper, head over to the bar and order your drinks, pay separate from food. \nGet your parking ticket stamped for free parking.“

“Chowder is always on point. Recently ordered ceviche and was disappointed to find out they no longer make it with fish, but rather shrimp only. You have to ask for lemons and hot sauce which was typically made readily available in the past. We miss when this restaurant used to be upstairs.“

“Cabo Seafood Grill And Cantina was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh and full of flavor. One of the best parts of our visit was the tableside guacamole it was made fresh right in front of us and tasted amazing. You can really tell they take pride in quality because they also make their tortillas fresh.
The restaurant has a nice bar area as well as outdoor seating, which gives you great options depending on the vibe you want. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall experience was wonderful. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in the Oxnard area!“

“My favorite spot in oxnard!! We make a point to try new things on the menu often because everything is so good!! Full of flavor and super fresh ingredients. The tacos are by far my favorite but the fresh made empenadas are a close second!! Everything's made fresh to order so it's hot and delicious! The owner is also super nice. Great spot.“

It’s insane how good this place is! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to be this good based on the outside appearance, but it did not disappoint one bit. We did arrive a little late, so we weren’t able to dine in but based on looks it’s a really quiet place where I’d be a nice date place.,
the guy working there was so nice and encouraged us to order to go — which we gladly did.
We ordered a little bit of everything: shrimp, clams, crab legs, and all the sides. The only thing they didn’t have was eggs, which is a little sad because a seafood boil with eggs is just top tier. But let me tell you… the flavor made up for it completely.
Everything was so rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The whole time we were eating we just kept saying how good it was and how much flavor everything had. It was a total hit! 🙌
We got so much food and the price honestly wasn’t bad at all. I can truly say this is wayyyyy better than Boiling Crab, no doubt.
I already can’t wait to come back this weekend for round two — and this time I definitely want to eat inside to get the full experience. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who loves a good seafood boil! 🔥“

“Moved to Vegas 25 years ago. Miss 3 things about Oxnard - Family, the beach and Otani’s. Been fortunate to eat in some of the best restaurants in the U.S. I would choose Otani’s Fried Teriyaki Snapper with double rice over any other meal that’s out there. Otani’s was a staple for me growing up and had the fortune of knowing the family. Crave it constantly and go there every day whenever I make it back to town.“

“My favorite fish taco in all of Ventura and Los Angeles County! There are a lot of other great menu options but I can’t help but order the world famous fish taco every time. They make their own salsas and special sauce, the tacos are large and a great value. They have half price tacos Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm and a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-6pm. The servers are attentive and so awesome, the restaurant is clean and it’s a great atmosphere. The patio is great and there are heaters for the cooler weather as well as a large table with the ability to have a fire.“

“We came to Santa Barbara for the long weekend, but our car broke down and we got in pretty late. We tried ordering through DoorDash, but delivery wasn’t available since we were about 30 minutes from the restaurant. We called and explained what happened— and they went above and beyond. They delivered the food themselves, didn’t charge us for delivery, and it arrived hot. Truly couldn’t have asked for more. Seriously, a great restaurant.“

“Latitude 34 is our favorite restaurant (not just in Camarillo). The food is fantastic (lobster bisque, filet mignon, halibut, salmon, ribeye, scallops, sesame ahi, Seabass, Brie chicken, filet mignon bites, chocolate cheesecake are some of our favorites). The servers and the rest of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.“

“I went to Andria’s to get Halibut, Cod and Clam chowder but was very curious about getting fresh seafood to cook at home. Miguel who works in that department was polite, knowledgeable and made me a lifelong customer. He was exceptional in explaining everything so that i could make my food at home taste like the restaurant. He cut the fish for me, then i got the batter, tartar sauce, cocktail sauce and condiments to take home. The process was so easy. Miguel is definitely a shining light for the company. I am on my way to get more fish to cook at home because i learned that i will get double the amount if i fry it myself. Now i will be having fish fry’s at my home at the once a month. Thank you Miguel for being a shining light.“

“Impressive customer service, while our waiter was busy w/other tables (which is understandable and totally fine) there is a busy bus boy buzzing around with water, clearing off plates and bringing extras people are asking for. Our waiter came and took our drink order. Malbec for me… so good, I had to ask what it was: Öko 🤤 and my husband ordered a smash berry something. THAT was SO BOMB! A hint of mint and full flavor of berries bursting bar god deliciousness! We ordered the butter board, now the presentation could use some work… I’m more about flavor and that butter (two options) was finger lickin good. The waiter took a few minutes to chat and told us it was pineapple butter. 🤯 it’s served with small pieces of… maybe focaccia bread (which btw alone was so good too). Meanwhile, the manager has his eye on everything. He saw the moment we put down our menus, and was there to ask is we has any questions. I did: there’s no house salad on the menu & he accommodated my request for one, which was a deciding factor for my main course. The SoCal Bolognese was bursting with flavor. This is new to the menu, we’ve been a few times… my husband is a fan, I was never impressed… until last night. The chorizo was spicy, but not overpowering, pasta cooked perfectly. The house salad could’ve used more tomatoes, but I really can’t complain since it’s not on the menu to begin with. My husband ordered the ahi steak on top of green beans and he said it was really good. It looked amazing, but I was in heaven with the butter board & the bolognese, my palate couldn’t handle the flavor overload 😜 After about 6 visits, I finally found something worth writing home about. For sure putting this place back into rotation. And the prices… very reasonable. Might be coming here a lot more. Everyone was super nice and helpful.“

“Had some time to kill this week and headed in to have some lunch, ordered a carne asada taco and albóndigas. Having worked in Mexican food places I figured the soup was gonna take longer. But it took about 20-25 mins to get the taco and the soup. The soup was delicious! But I had to cancel the taco since it took so long. If u are in a rush do not eat there..
If you have plenty of time and like homemade tortillas head in. The workers where friendly, but sadly I never got my money back for my taco 3.50 isn't much but it does leave me with bit of a poor experience because of it. Could have been 5 stars. Again food is delicious and greatly seasoned.“

I’ve been here a few times, one of which I ordered online and when I came to pick it up, they were actually closed for construction. The cashier, who I’m assuming was the manager, was very apologetic and offered to call in my order at a restaurant nearby. But I had a migraine and honestly just wanted to go home. Today I came in to pick up dinner, and he insisted that it was on him!! So not necessary, but so kind. <3

“Model Citizen is one of those vibey spots that feels elevated without being stuffy, and Mondays are my favorite time to go.
They are open Thursday through Monday from 4 pm to 9 pm and closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Happy hour runs daily from 4 to 6 pm and all night on Mondays. And yes, you can order happy hour from anywhere you sit in the restaurant, which immediately earns bonus points.
Mondays have the best energy. It is relaxed but still lively. I am obsessed with their salads, especially the Caesar, heavy on the parm please.
The happy hour menu never misses. Smash burger with fries and garlic aioli is a must. And if you are getting a drink, go for the Negroni. They make a very good one, balanced and done right.
Great food, strong drinks, and a really good vibe. Model Citizen is a go to when you want something fun, elevated, and reliably good.“
