“Before we moved from California wife and I used to eat once a week fresh seafood you can get in Oxnard. We live in Lubbock Texas we're on vacation our first stop was Hook line & sinker after 11 years the food still tastes the same it's so fresh you can't get it anywhere else. The manager that works there very friendly and great service. When we got there I asked him after 11 years I asked him if he had a hook line and seeker shirts he said yes and he gave me one. If anyone is planning to go on vacation to Oxnard I recommend eating there for the freshest seafood you can ever get. Just don't take my word for it yourself. Tell the manager the couple from Texas sent you there and you will get the great services we did Alma and Roy from Lubbock Texas. ?“

“I found this shop scanning GMaps. But as I was driving thru an industrial park I began to think they led me off course. So it’s where they do most of the mongering but they have a little shop that serves most of the people in the industrial parks and vicinity. It was funny, they called me out for it lol.

But the girl was super nice and helpful and led me to the Fish Tacos. Well worth it. Light bread in, good crisp and flavor. I would def come back but it’s a lunch spot for the locals. Don’t let that scare you away.“

“My favorite spot in oxnard!! We make a point to try new things on the menu often because everything is so good!! Full of flavor and super fresh ingredients. The tacos are by far my favorite but the fresh made empenadas are a close second!! Everything's made fresh to order so it's hot and delicious! The owner is also super nice. Great spot.“

“Best guacamole anywhere. Made fresh at the table, but somehow there is still something they do that makes it amazing. They make their tortillas in house. For lunch, two of us shared the guac, had a taco a piece and shared a chili rellenos. Everything was delicious. Excellent chill rellenos.“

Two visits so far -- one on the weekend and one midweek. There's a mariachi on the weekend, and futbol on the TV screens always.
Three of us split a big order of ceviche the first time and it was just plain wonderful! The second visit I tried the sopa siete mares which ended up providing me with lunch the next day! Others in our group had fish prepared different ways, all of which were excellent.
The wait staff was helpful, personable and didn't make fun of my ordering in Spanish (and checking in English)!

Been fortunate to eat in some of the best restaurants in the U.S. I would choose Otani’s Fried Teriyaki Snapper with double rice over any other meal that’s out there. Otani’s was a staple for me growing up and had the fortune of knowing the family. Crave it constantly and go there every day whenever I make it back to town.“

“The perfect dinner experience! This was my third time here and it’s our most favorite of them all!! This time I brought my whole family, pups included, great experience outdoor dining. The front cashier tonight was amazing, His name is Suvam ! He helped with all questions I’ve had, offered amazing recommendations and just offered us patient and professional service all together. The chef’s really did their thing tonight cause everything was on point! And the rest of the staff this evening were all polite and attentive as well, to include the bartender! Recommend this location to all looking for a great meal within a great atmosphere.
We ordered SO MUCH today, I will say if you go, my three recommended staples to try are: their amazing bowl of Clam Chowder, their fried Zucchini appetizer and their Fisherman’s Cod combo!!

“Was taken there by my wife to celebrate a work milestone. Service was efficient, excellent, engaging, and endless. The food was magnificent. The meat was succulent, the chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice was moist and every grain was separated to taste. The ambience candlelight like, but intimate. You must try this restaurant, if you haven’t to this point. It is oceanic covert treasure and I WILL return!“

“I recently dined at this amazing spot and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Birria plate with horchata, and my husband enjoyed the fajitas plate. “We had the chicken quesadilla Mole estilo Guanajuato, Tamarindo agua fresca and Jamaica agua fresca a michelada and churro ice cream for dessert. The mole sauce tasted a bit bitter, the aguas frescas were refreshing with just the right amount of sugar, the michelada was on pointe! the churro was served hot ? with a cinammon coating and glazed ice cream. The server was super friendly and attentive. No waiting which was awesome because we were hungry. The food came within 15 minutes.

Parking: Depends what time you are there you might get lucky with great parking spot.
