I got the chai tea…DELICIOUS. And the mango ice cream… I don’t think it’s actually mango, it tastes and looks like papaya .“
“No-frills place (actually under-frilled, if that's possible)... but delicious food. We got Korean Tacos and a Shrimp Po Boy to share. I thought the sandwich was really good and I'd come back for it, and the tacos were even better and I can't wait to get them again. The only thing that would make this place better is if they tidied up the hallway leading to the restroom more and didn't have spare boxes of service items sitting around.“
“Great fish and chips - huge portion sizes, but really delicious fish and the batter wasn't too thick or stodgy. It came with coleslaw, tartar sauce. We were late so it was quiet but still a nice atmosphere. And, we happened to go on a day when there was a special - 3 pieces of fish for the price of 2 - fantastic! Plenty of parking and a nice, clean establishment. A great, straightforward fish and chip shop.“

“We had a great time at Cabo's on our Anniversary Day. We both wanted to try it after a few recommendations and the fact that I used to work in that building in the late 70s when it was a Sizzler Steak House Restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was awesome. We had appetizers as well as our meal and ended it with dessert. They all came out in a timely manner. I would go again!“

“This place is awesome. A little hole in the wall restaurant with great service and delicious food. I ordered the mixed fajitas, and they were huge!! Accompanied with rice, beans, and hand-madee tortillas! Omg, heaven!! I totally recommend this place and wish I could leave more than 5 start. Also, we had the cutest little waitress who came to check on us often and has the best customer service skills!! Will definitely come back even though we drove and an hour to get here! He made sure every table was treated like they were the VIP table. Truly appreciated the effort and attention to detail. “Outdoor seating but kept very clean. Looks like a family owned business and that's probably why the food is so great. Live crabs to choose from. Very delicious and simple. Not overloaded with seasoning. They give melted butter and lime or lemons. Food takes a little while because it's being prepared freshly. It's not fast food so don't expect your food in 5 minutes. The prices weren't overpriced and for fresh seafood this is very good in pricing. I will keep coming back here for seafood. It's the best I've had in California. No alcohol served. No in door dining.“
“Our food tasted great, everyone ordered something different so we could sample from eachother. The service was good. This is a small restaurant and it's clean. When we first walked in I thought we were at a Chinese restaurant with all the again inspired decorations and snacks, then I looked into the restaurant and it looked more seafoody. “Nice Mexican restaurant with a variety of Mexican dishes. I recommend the Bahia huevos house special. It is an exceptional dish at this location. Sometimes they have menudo, just call and check on the days/times they are available. They offer Mexican hot chocolate and horchata and both are excellent taste. Free Parking is available. Bathrooms are not perfectly maintained so that's a minus for a cute and iconic restaurant in Oxnard.“

The convenience though of having this near me is that I can drop in and ask for whatever I want!Although I definitely recommend looking online at what is available / having an idea of what you need before walking up to the counter.Staff was very nice, super casual. “Gem hiding in plain sight. Craving seafood after a show, we checked out Julian's Aguachiles. We were greeted with a smile from a friendly waitress. The chips and salsa tasted homemade. My daughter's meal came out first. I'm a critic when it comes to side beans. I can tell if they are homemade or not. These side beans were perfect. I could eat an entire plate of just beans. The presentation of the shrimp Aguachiles is picture worthy. The taste was nicely seasoned without being overpowering hot. My husband's beef soup was the perfect combination to dial down the heat. Word of caution: once the heat is gone, you will be craving for more. Looking forward to trying different options on the menu.“
